gallo isn't the better player. Bargnani is way better in every facet, athleticims, puts the ball on the floor a LOT better, defense, etc.

He leads the league in 3's but also plays on the knicks as a starter who are one of the worst teams in the league. When bargs was a rookie, he was on a playoff team and not starting and not getting nearly as much minutes. He's also not limited to a spot shooter like Gallo

gallo is a very good driver... the knicks system just limits him to hanging around on the perimeter hes thrown down some nast dunks... btw bargnani's second year stats when the raptors sucked ass and barganani started still arent better than gallos stats know... when gallo gets as strong as barganani he will be the better player no doubt

stats don't tell the entire story.you guys are the knicks after all. Bargnani hasn't started consistently every game until this year, Gallo is a starter on a terrible knicks team. Bargnani is clearly the better player at all facets of the game. Gallo can hardly create a shot for himself or others whereas Bargnani is our most dynamic offensive weapon- more so than Bosh, he's also a great passer. Gallo is the 2nd best player on a bad team, Bargs is the 2nd best on a very good team, big difference.

You should know first hand Bargs is better anyways, don't let your bias blind you. Your knicks already lost twice on your home floor to the raptors and it's likely going to be a 4-0 series sweep this season. After all, the raptors are one of the best home court teams in the league, i believe we are on a 9 game winning streak at home entering the all-star break. I hate to be a knicks fan right now, they are surrounded by mediocrity...

i agree with you that bargnani is the better player and the knicks suck... but im saying that when bargs was in his second year in the league the raptors were a terrible team as well and he put up worse stats than gallo in every category, in fact gallos numbers this year (which is his first full year in the league) are similar to bargs stats last year, gallo will be the better player

@rabble000 I think they will be pretty close man,Andrea is a unique player in that he is a bit like Dirk but is more athletic and can handle the ball better.Now that Bosh is gone I think Andrea will take on the #1 option role and he will excel,Gallo is going to be a great player too though...

Gallo e Mago stanno facendo bene e ci danno speranze per la Nazionale. Se poi consideriamo che il terzo (Beli) e' quello che fa meno in NBA ma e' l'unico dei 3 che in Nazionale ha fatto diverse volte 30+ punti, allora ci sono possibilita' di combinare cose buone. Abbiamo anche un nuovo manager e Mancinelli che non e' malissimo

Però tecnicamente SE ci qualifichiamo agli europei del 2011 E poi arriviamo nelle prime posizioni tipo 3-4 in realtà dipende ad ogni torneo cambiano... Ovviamente siccome si fanno a Londra un posto per squadre europee sarà occupato dall'inghilterra/UK anche se fanno schifo...

belinelli è potenzialmente il più estroso dei 3 italiani, ma è anke il piu penalizzato... le guardie americane sono molto piu rapide e atletichee, lui è piu un tiratore, dovrebbe insistere di più nelle penetrazioni e nella difesa

ma quello in cui dovrebbe migliorare di più e temo non accadrà mai è la selezione di tiro (proprio perchè "estroso") e il gestirsi (va fuorigiri).

Purtroppo sarà difficile, come hai scritto ha svantaggi atletici e forte concorrenza nel suo ruolo. Può però riuscire a ritagliarsi uno spazio importante...magari proprio da sesto uomo, come sta diventando...quello che porta punti (e altro) nella second-unit.

Si però Bargnani alla seconda stagione faceva 10 pti e nemmeno 4 rimbalzi, il Gallo 15 pti e 5rimbalzi dopo aver saltato quasi tutta la prima stagione.. comunque leggi repubblica e poi ne riparliamo.

Bisogna dire però che i Knicks sono allo sbando, quindi è più facile immettersi per un buon rookie, e D'Antoni non poteva in nessun modo non farlo giocare, sia perchè è un grande, sia perchè è un grande amico del padre. Il mago invece, ha dovuto sbattere un pò di più, prima con se stesso e con l'enorme pressione che ha subito, poi con coach Mitchell. Il Gallo, da un certo punto di vista, ha avuto la strada un pò spianata.

Resta comunque un fenomeno, potenziale mai visto in un italiano.
