i went there at the weekend, rented a decent bike and went for it, had a good time and am heading back next tuesday. mtb is all about having fun, not just going as fast as the guy in front thinks u should.
sorry but you guys are kinda crap you were sure taking your time on tht the berms and stuff. You must have bikes worth over 600 quid right? i made it down the track in an hour and 20 mins on a fucking hardtail claudbutler. Check out Chicksands tho, thats some trail to do...
Dude, biking is about having fun what does it matter if they go slow. At least there having fun and taking their time not going out and trying to crack it in 2 hours.
i work at grizedale, forester there,i do alot of the work on the trail, hope you enjoyed it, we're in the process on gettin permision on building a new one, cos, really, that ones not upto much, pussy run. gizz a shout if ur ever back, ill take u on the secret run

from 3.22 to 5.10 , im 99% sure that is one of the sections of track i built. I was one of the digger driver on there .

there's a downhill in grizedale that leads down the lawson park that's rather good fun, and the descent in lawson parks awesome.. good vid!
