honestly to make Crysis 4 great they must,I REPEAT MUST have ragdoll physics for the corpses like if you shoot them or melee them the body will will move.And also a way that you can shoot corpses and blood burst out of the body then have a blood stain be rendered on the corpse at the exact location were the wound is.and mabye gore?

@TheNetau They didn't. It's an all new engine, and it's AWESOME. Skyrim looks "bad" because it's an open world optimized for the XBox 360. Check out some of the graphics mods for PC and you'll see what that engine can do, and the modding tools aren't even out yet!

They just changed some Options and renamed it, also Fallout3 is openworld too and it has same rendering engine, same effects and same Event Control. Trust me, it's the same old engine, and it's so damn fucking sad because Skyrim deserves more!

It may be a definement on the engine from Oblivion, but that certainly doesn't make it any worse than if it hadn't been. Skyrim has a very powerful engine. You just can't separate polygon count and engine optimization in your head.

Call of Juarez: The Cartel such a disappointment graphics looked like shit. poor port. low textures and unbelivable shadow quality that even on the highest settings,shadow must be a joke or some kind of prank. not much work was put into developing that game. dead island ,never played it but looks just about the same thing. pc games need advance graphics options and not those from xbox 360 and ps3

@Elrumel cuz eventually all engines devs are aiming towards only one goal...making the game look as real life-ish as possible..which is stupid IMO..but i really like unreal engine cuz u can do artsy stuff on it like aliens and shit (gears of war, mass effect) and also make it look like real life too and also UE3 is available on mobile which makes it very flexible..rest engines yea look pretty much the same..trying to emulate real life (cryengine 3 leading eveyone of those engines by miles :P )

Its not that good sadly. They had to sacrifice performance for the sheer size of the maps, which i think is worth it, but the real bummer is that they had to tone the graphics down primarily for the consoles.
