Oh I know how that feels to have your guitar broken! I had an acoustic Aria, not sure of the price, but it had a solid top, and bone inlays. I moved from Canada to England, and my guitar was sent on a boat rather than an airplane. I arrived a while after my guitar, I went to take it out of it's case and the neck was completely snapped off. Right at the body. Its a real sickening feeling when you see your guitar flop in two pieces. Movers and airlines need to take better care of our instruments!

So if it was worth only 1.8 billion than every plane would be worth a measly 3 million on average. 3 million...for a Jumbo Jet a 777 etc..lol. Come on... Taylor guitars are top of the range, I cant afford one but do play a Seagull, by coincidence made in Canada. What you cant buy is the 'tone' that improves with age on a solid wood top instrument. I would have gone ballistic if I saw anyone mistreating my already well worn guitar & no amount of compensation could buy 20 odd years of beautiful sound improvement. I have 3 kids but my other baby is just as precious - - - -if a little wooden !! ( its a guitar thing folks )
