Johann German Shepherd Earns His Schutzhund A Title

Johann looks great...why just the A title?

That was because he had a handler who had only done a BH (on Johann). So, I wanted to get my feet wet with just the A. Since then, Johann has passed SchH 1 twice (high in trial once and high protection once) and passed SchH 2 twice (the first time as USA Mideastern Regional SchH 2 Champion). He does not yet have his 3...only because of me not entering another trial. But, we will have that 3 within the next 2 months.

@SteinbaumGSD does a dog have to be 100% obedient? i'm not going to enter a trial, but i had taught my shepherd schutzhund skills like heeling and tracking. he loves tracking cause that's the only time he'll wag his tail alot.

Congratulations, Johann! Your moves are as precise and symmetrical as the wonderful era of Classical music you were named for. And I'm wondering if that's the honorable wrangler, Paige, tracking such excellent footage of you for more-than-all-of-ten-minutes! I also heard a femals voice say something like, "proof in puddin' dog." That you are! A fine boy, indeed. I'm a fan. More! ^^
