@Gustarist A matter of opinion, but I find careful use of Z Targeting to be the easiest way to deal with them. That and memorizing which rooms that they are in.

YES Im Glad Sumbody Agrees #5 I Hate The Eagle Knights They So F**Kin Hard I Have Enough Trouble Fightin Off The Red Ones But Them Blue Ones will Give U Hell
@ASHTREFISHER Great gamers will always learn more as they play their favorite games. When it comes to the Eagle Knights, they are now really easy for me, as long as I watch what they are doing. Just wait until they jump over you and upstab them to kill them easily. Too bad they aren't worth jack in experience (The JPN Famicom Disk System version gives 500 EXP for each one you kill!)
Hunchbacks/Fleamen are the most annoying Castlevania characters, especially in the original games but still in the later ones. Try beating Frankenstein with his invincible Fleaman buddy and you'll understand why they're the most annoying.

Man, no offense, but your reading skills need some work. When you aren't running your words together, you are giving out awkward pauses. Sounds really forced.
I don't believe that fighting against a huge invulnerable mutant was part of the STARS training nor is it normal for any other person on the planet. So I wouldn't call Nemesis an annoying enemy. You aren't supposed to fight him in the first place unless you have to....
@hanacodaiko Yea, some enemies are either placeholders or last minute decisions. This is why I sometimes make lists of only Top 5's now. If I can't think of 10 very good choices fairly quickly, I'm probably not going to...
My belief with Nemesis is mostly based on playing the game for the first time ONLY. I'm trying to relate people's feelings on first having to deal with him, as every time I play RE3 now, I look forward to running into him.
Ah ok, now I get it. This way it makes perfect sense. Remembering now what I felt, when I have to fight Nemesis in that train cabin was like: "How the F*** I'm supposed to fight him in that NARROW space." I think it suits your video :) Am I right?
@hanacodaiko Oh, very much so, for me Nemesis isn't as bad as Mr. X from RE 2. I was so scared at the concept of an enemy that chases after you throughout the game that I thought he would pop up completely randomly/follow you throughout the game. Not quite...
Nemesis is more tenacious, but you can still outrun him if you're quick. Didn't stop him from making me anxious often.
uh, i can relate to a few of them but where are the Ninja Gaiden Ghost fishes? you know what extent that with a top then for bosses (and a top ten for secret bosses) and normal enemies
@DarknessGuard The Ghost Fish aren't on the list because they are the kind of enemy (Medusa Heads and so on) that are only annoying if you don't know how to fight them. Using Flails, they are actually a great and quick way to farm essence to max out your healing items, something you need to have maxed out OFTEN to succeed in NGB.
@osurpless thx for the advise though I already know how to fend them off but they are still annoying since it is enough if just or 3 somehow slip to get on you nerves and actually I'm one of the players that rather dies on normal enemies in NG than wasting pots... but I thank you anyway
The bosses at the end of the first kingdom hearts game were insanely annoying (there was one super powerful boss every other planet after you unlock all the planets) I remember crying because I couldn't beat the sand monster thing at Aladdin's world and finally after battling it for like 3 months (I played some other games too) I beat it (didn't get shit though I was so pissed off I wanted to break the game....... almost) but right after that I had to battle death at peter Pan's world so :P
To me, the most annoying enemies in any old school video game was the one you had to literally shoot or hit 1,000,000. I hated those. The games where you were some kind of flying ship/plane/helicopter/jet were the worst about that.
@Killer0Pico Too much fun to use to be annoying. And if you play a good meta game with above average micro management skills (I know, as my brothers used to yell at me when I failed to be fast enough) you can be prepared to fend off nearly any amount that equally fast players can rush at you.
@dkaput123 Oh definitely, but my memories of him are mostly affected by the first time I played the game. He's really easy to deal with once you figure out the dodging prompts, but much like similar techniques in Ninja Gaiden Xbox, he's annoying if you don't realize how to fight him.
@retronintendo8 Yea, actually planning a panel discussion on the series' 25th anniversary. It might be odd, but I've always enjoyed fighting/dodging Medusa Heads. If they turned you into stone in every game that they were in (Symphony), sure, they would definitely be on the list!
But to me, they are just too enjoyable to be annoying.
Omg..I rem RE3. I never beat RE3...I got to the train part, Beat Nemesis, got the fuse i think it was called, Turn the corner faced Nemesis again got back to the train and needed another thing..I had No more herbs, hardly any bullets and almost died (thanks to that last Nemesis fight) and then Guess what? Nemesis for the 3rd time with a rocket launcher running towards you..Fuck!!!! Died and gave up....
@Abhraxxas I didn't say it was, gotta listen to the whole thing. I said he was "nicknamed" the Chaser, as that is what gaming magazines referred to him as before they knew his name.
just a bit of critiscm you should prolly not write what your going ot say before hand bc i could def hear you stuttering over the words.. Better to just go with the flow... sorry for the spelling i cant spell worth a crap
@TheBlackBloodNinja I feel the same about those games as I do about the popular choice of Medusa Heads. Once you learn how to fight them, they are just enjoyable to fight.
@TheBlackBloodNinja Well I don't know about that, my cousin was able to beat all of them within the first month or so in which he got them (I think 2 took him a little longer to finish but I don't remember it all that well) but I remember that I couldn't play them for the life of me (I wasn't use to the controls of the x-box because I had only played ps2 as a child) but I wouldn't say impossible
@TheBlackBloodNinja By comparison, the 3D ones do rely less on pattern memorization to succeed. I suppose if you are patient enough, you can learn how to defeat any enemy in Black and beyond easily, but it still takes skill to be able to defeat them consistently. In the NES games, you can rely on the same strategies to defeat everything easily (spin strike in I, clones and fire spread in II, and same in III)
@TheBlackBloodNinja The items aren't really hard to find in any of the NES NInja Gaidens. You just have to know how to keep them/save their power for tough situations. Ryu is often fast enough to deal with most enemies relatively easier without using ninja magic.
For proof I've played them ,make sure you find the magic power-up scroll in each stage, as by the late stages of the game, you'll have 80-90 power and can pretty much spam ninja magic, as the red ki powerup maxes your power out.
@TheBlackBloodNinja Such things can be difficult to prove on the Internet, and I'm not about to make a Let's Play just for your edification. But, I can try and explain better.
What do you find unclear about the previous statement?
Has no one here played Kid Icarus? That game is nothing but annoying enemies. The grim reapers who call groups of monsters to kill you when sighted, the Plutons who steal your "treasures", and worst of all, the Eggplant Wizards, who turn you into an eggplant- making you unable to do anything but move.
ok george romero from cod black ops call of the dead every enemy from alan wake juggernauts from mw2 jockys from l4d2 poison zombies from hl2 turrets from portal-portal2 barnacles from hl2 bowser from every mario nova zombies from call of duty bo zombies the tank l4d-l4d2 that octapus thing in mario games snipers in any game that involves snipers combine vehicles hl2
Fuck that, the damn birds on ninja gaiden 1 and 2 for the NES that always caught you while jumping.... or those panthers, or those guys throwing knives constantly. FUCKERS. But those birds man.... I still want to cry in rage and hit my TV and nintendo and throw the controller.... those motherfucking sons of.... aaaaaa damnit! I have to go smoke.
I would have put the Great Morbols from FFX instead. They ALWAYS ambush you, and they ALWAYS lead with bad breath. So the only way to really fight them is to A: Have on character with a weapon that has Initiative, B: swap him out for Yuna immediately, and C: have her summon an aeon to take the attack. Anything else will result in it always pissing you off.
I say it's the one villager in RE4 that ALWAYS ALWAYS AL-FUCKING-WAYS turns into the mutated plaga form. You know the one. It's like, "I headshotted you, motherfucker! I blew you up with a grenade, motherfucker! I FUCKING MISSILED YOU, MOTHERFUCKER! YOU CANNOT MUTATE AFTER THAT!" Grr. I get high blood pressure just thinking about it.
i would of put lakitu on there he flies around on the top of the screen so its impossible to kill him and he always throws a bunch of spiny eggs who can only be killed with fireballs but you probably end up losing fire Mario powers when he throws them at your head
@osurpless I like your videos, but your voice is kind of nasal, you speak too fast and the background music is too high. I'm not trying to be smart, just trying to give some advice: you should speak slowlier.
The Mini Devils in Castlevania SOTN are not nearly as annoying (in my opinion) as the Golden Medusa Heads from SOTN, and all the enemies in both current Ninja Gaiden games cannot compare themselves to the annoyance of the Eagles/Bats in the Ninja Gaiden trilogy on the NES (in my opinion).
One of the most annoying enemies for me is likelikes in the portable and older zelda games...There not as bad in the 3d ones because you can get back your shield if you defeat them in a fast enough but if you don't you have to go all the way back to a store if your trying to defeat certain enemies...
Dude, most Nemesis fights, you can just run, which is better ammo wise. Unless you want the Gun Parts, which, i believe, he holds when playing on Hard.
Also, i really don't remember Morpheus being such a pain to defeat... i don't really remember struggling to defeat him. But, if you think he's annoying, ok. It's just that he's the final boss, so he should be hard, right?
nemesis in re is not that bad if you know where u got to run away
the ninja gaiden game on xbox360 is created by the devil....i completed the game and it was the most frustrating game ver after dead rising[though gaiden is good, dead rising is an overrated crap, even the wii version is better]
and in castlevanias...generally the medusas are the most annoying
there are a lot others in the ds rpgs, but those are not irritating, while the medusas are always
Nemesis does suck ass but what I really hate are all the other enemies inspired by him. Like the Regenerator in dead space that keeps chasing you, plus you can't kill the bastard.
One of the most annoying and frustrating enemies for me is in Doom 3 when your in hell and the part with the three mancubuses appear and you dont have a BFG or much rocket ammo to take them down.
@merrywoodunltd they are easy as shit, deathclaws or Jean-Claude Baptiste from New Vegas are a lot more annoying. However i took on Quarry Junction in New Vegas today and killed every single deathclaw with sneak attack criticals with the anti-material rifle.

osurpless 5 months ago
@KidRiviera the "Bad Breath" attack, in addition to their name being similar to a well known AMERICAN cigarette brand would only give a logical connection of it being related, negatively, to smoking. It is common for brand names from other nations to be used in such a way in Japan.
On a side note, in FF3 US (FF6) they were translated as "Oscar", as a manor of censorship, and as what I can only assume is a joke to their appearance, like that of "Oscar the Grouch"

2. EVERY enemy from a side scrolling NES game is annoying.

Creeper from Minecraft....
Tomi112211 7 months ago
I would have put the Great Morbols from FFX instead. They ALWAYS ambush you, and they ALWAYS lead with bad breath. So the only way to really fight them is to A: Have on character with a weapon that has Initiative, B: swap him out for Yuna immediately, and C: have her summon an aeon to take the attack. Anything else will result in it always pissing you off.

Do you really write down everything you were going to say about each enemy, and then totally botch reading what you've already written down?

JESUS CHRIST work on your speech patterns. You don't need to say everything at once, it isn't a race. Add some inflection while you're at it.

I'm not trying to be smart, just trying to give some advice: you should speak slowlier.
rockdeath 7 months ago
The Mini Devils in Castlevania SOTN are not nearly as annoying (in my opinion) as the Golden Medusa Heads from SOTN, and all the enemies in both current Ninja Gaiden games cannot compare themselves to the annoyance of the Eagles/Bats in the Ninja Gaiden trilogy on the NES (in my opinion).

NO FLOOD!!!!!!???? The flood are the most annoying enemies in gaming by far.
geico39 8 months ago
@geico39 not really. they stick true to their name, i find them rather easy with a shotgun or a full-auto.
Chaoktarukto 7 months ago
One of the most annoying enemies for me is likelikes in the portable and older zelda games...There not as bad in the 3d ones because you can get back your shield if you defeat them in a fast enough but if you don't you have to go all the way back to a store if your trying to defeat certain enemies...

tristanscharp 8 months ago
Dude, most Nemesis fights, you can just run, which is better ammo wise. Unless you want the Gun Parts, which, i believe, he holds when playing on Hard.
Also, i really don't remember Morpheus being such a pain to defeat... i don't really remember struggling to defeat him. But, if you think he's annoying, ok. It's just that he's the final boss, so he should be hard, right?
Victor7Wolf 8 months ago
I'm surprised that the Hammer Bros. aren't here.

nemesis in re is not that bad if you know where u got to run away
the ninja gaiden game on xbox360 is created by the devil....i completed the game and it was the most frustrating game ver after dead rising[though gaiden is good, dead rising is an overrated crap, even the wii version is better]
and in castlevanias...generally the medusas are the most annoying
there are a lot others in the ds rpgs, but those are not irritating, while the medusas are always

Nemesis does suck ass but what I really hate are all the other enemies inspired by him. Like the Regenerator in dead space that keeps chasing you, plus you can't kill the bastard.
engrishprease 9 months ago
One of the most annoying and frustrating enemies for me is in Doom 3 when your in hell and the part with the three mancubuses appear and you dont have a BFG or much rocket ammo to take them down.
Mst3kfanatic1 9 months ago
@merrywoodunltd they are easy as shit, deathclaws or Jean-Claude Baptiste from New Vegas are a lot more annoying. However i took on Quarry Junction in New Vegas today and killed every single deathclaw with sneak attack criticals with the anti-material rifle.
