Just listening to the two of these speak...gives me a "cerebral orgasm" (please, Puritans, refrain from responding)....Ah...the way they twist and turn this glorious language on their tongues...it's just too much. Seriously - what a PLEASURE (And no, am not British in case you're wondering - my native tongue isn't even English).
@Eilatj Stephen Fry has done a lot of Audio books. You should check them out. Unfortunately I have no idea if Hugh Laurie has done any audio books or not.
I'd love to know how they got the name "Cunterblast" by the BBC censors! Auntie is a bit less strict these days when it comes to language, but THAT word is the final straw for most TV networks, and even the 'F' word has only been allowed post-watershed for a few years now.
When I first watched this in about 1987/8- I NEVER heard "CUNTerblast" said 4 times... I'm proud of them for slipping the c*nt past the powers that be.(Pardon the crude analogy).Fry & Laurie are the first comedians to say "c*nt" on the precious BBC.You don't even hear it now. What a Fan-fuc*ing-tastic achievement
