  • WHERE'S THE REST YOU SLUTMONKEY.

  • love it love it love it!!!!!!!!!!

  • There's one thing I don't get in one of the sketches, why is the name Ted Counterblast funny?

  • @larsreal9 It's "Cunterblast"

  • @LilyFlower1991 Amazing how they got away with that, really.

  • @Thanasis300 Coz they are legends :)

  • @larsreal9 How did you mishear that? Or maybe I have a dirty mind.

  • Agree with you, Eilatij. I like your turn of phrasing too!

  • lmao "I envy you sir I could never read a book twice"

  • Mr Twee and Mrs Pert. Snide University. Classic.

These sketches just never stop being funny - every single line is fantastic!

  • Ted Cunterblast. Epic.

  • Passing the SS door and finding the Adolf-with-glasses librarian...ewhhh...no escape, got to love them.

  • Just listening to the two of these speak...gives me a "cerebral orgasm" (please, Puritans, refrain from responding)....Ah...the way they twist and turn this glorious language on their tongues...it's just too much. Seriously - what a PLEASURE (And no, am not British in case you're wondering - my native tongue isn't even English).

  • @Eilatj Stephen Fry has done a lot of Audio books. You should check them out. Unfortunately I have no idea if Hugh Laurie has done any audio books or not.

  • I'd love to know how they got the name "Cunterblast" by the BBC censors! Auntie is a bit less strict these days when it comes to language, but THAT word is the final straw for most TV networks, and even the 'F' word has only been allowed post-watershed for a few years now.

  • Wow, this is brilliant.

  • They are so much more liberal about their language: I LOVE IT. Rock on.

  • The librarians remind me of certain academics...

  • Linked sketches. How pythonian.

  • it's kinda scary that that reminds me of so many of my own experiences with librarians...

  • thank god i thought i was the only one

  • "...Don't break into my car!"

    lmao, this is great!

  • I love how they put the two sketches together like it was one long scene =) lol

  • "So fantastically rude."

  • When I first watched this in about 1987/8- I NEVER heard "CUNTerblast" said 4 times... I'm proud of them for slipping the c*nt past the powers that be.(Pardon the crude analogy).Fry & Laurie are the first comedians to say "c*nt" on the precious BBC.You don't even hear it now. What a Fan-fuc*ing-tastic achievement

  • Ted Cunterblast!

  • yea...part 3 please. thanks for 1 and 2. they're both brilliant!!

  • wheres part 3

  • lol...English fans in denial!

  • Is it just me or should Hugh have said, "I keep muddling up my /age/ and my shoe size..." Or was that supposed to be another joke?

  • This is awesome:-D

  • Ha, I love how Stephen just pops up from behind the desk. ^_^ Those two are the best.

  • stephen fry partly reminds me of graham chapman... don't know why... they are both lovely chaps...thats why

  • 'Stop breaking into my car' i love this sketch, Fry and Laurie are comic legends

  • "i envy you sir, i could never read a book twice" lmao

  • I love them with all my heart! <3

  • thanks :)
