  • I like how it takes less than 2 minutes to go on to the next Thomas story. Probably the fastest timespan in the series.

  • I wonder what could've been in Mr. Conductor's present for Thomas.

  • Is this the second shinning time station episode ?

  • Not quite. Check the wikia for the episode list!

  • @sgprailfan No. The second episode is titled "Does it Bite?"

  • Hmmmmmm, A train comes ramming through your house, and you worried about making new breakfast?

    Ahhh, the good ole days!

  • I think this has the smallest time between Thomas stories in the show history

  • The second time Mr. Conductor trys to talk to Harry, what hapens to make him disapeer?

  • 6:40 OMG! They say the engines cant move on their own. HIt probably never saw this episode

  • why is that dumb station master's wife so mad about their breakfast when their whole house ruined!?

  • "A D-D-Diesel sir?"

Starr did this line much better than Carlin, IMO.

  • Ringo was the original narrator when this first hit the tv in England in 1984.

  • Indeed I remember this factoid - they were both good in their own right, that coupled with the stories [no puns intended] made the early seasons, even into some of the Alec Baldwin episodes good [I watched a lot with my little cousin when she was growing up, and entering her Thomas phase]. Nowadays it is not as good - the formula for plot that is. I can only barely bare to watch it when my cousins do so at family functions.

  • @travelsonic I'll say. And BTW, LOL! At the fact of which I used to put Video Tape Stickers on my mouth while imitating Thomas's "A D-D-Diesel, sir?" comment, in the process of showing off in funny ways back when I was young.

What do you say to that?

  • @travelsonic It sounded perfect the way he made Thomas' voice sound more muffled because of the bush on his front.

  • @bcakapinky Indeed, that was a nice touch.

  • @travelsonic It certainly was.

  • wow, Ringo Starr is so awesome.

  • @StefanoFan27 He sure is. Who knew he took up acting after he quit being the drummer for the Beatles.

  • at 3:07, look for Donald's signal box. (still broken too)

  • lil Ringo is soo cute! ^_^

  • Schemer reminds me of The Fonz for some reason.

  • naughty Thomas

  • Naughty Thomas is right, miss. Due to the fact that he crashed into the stationmaster's house for which a careless cleaner was metalling with his controls as of bein' a weird mistake that shouldn't have happened. That was also due to the fact that Thomas thought he could manage traveling without his driver, and that mistake happened unexpectidly by accident.

  • how come percy and toby didn't say anything at the end?

  • Mainly, because in the railway series, they wasn't in the end of the story.

  • Aww, this brings back some old memories! Ringo Starr rocks! :D

  • Is that thomas's illness face? Ps. what inconceddes

  • Man I wish they'd bring this back on TV or DVD or something...

  • Too bad Whistles and Sneezes wasn't here.

  • That's because Ringo Starr didn't narrate that story in the US.

  • Why would Mr C would want to give Thomas & Present if he was in trouble?

  • That's for sure, man.

  • To cheer him up. That's all.

  • can you add some more episodes with ringo please

  • LOL! Mr. Conductor gets ashamed and disappeared!

  • Thomas thought he can go by himself without his driver but he is wrong

  • If he hadn't believed his driver.

  • Besides, the only punishment Thomas got was a trip to the engine works to be mended.

  • no shit

  • Schemer: "A little drumroll, please." It's not about the drums for Ringo Starr from the Beatles, guys.

  • i know it was weird

  • This is the first appearance of the characters Donald & Douglas in the U.S. , because the episode Thomas Comes to Breakfast is shown WAYY out of production order. Donald and Douglas' real first appearance episode "Break Van" doesn't show until the Season 2 episode, "Sweet & Sour". This is Season 1.

  • It was Toby's debut as well.
