vocloid os simalar to touhou but it's gameplay is totally diffrent. this is practically touhou inthe deep future. i find the songs and the game itself calming and happy like. is it possible for a english version on and other system thats not on the psp.

@KatsuoDaichi There's no Project Diva for PS3 yet, but I've heard they were considering it. And there's one for arcades, but Project Diva 2 is a separate game being made for PSP.

And yeah, Japanese knowledge isn't really required. I can't read any Japanese, and I've pretty much beaten the game 100%.

@zero10999 actually there is a ps3 port for project diva called dreamy theatre but you need the psp version of the game AND connect that to your ps3 through usb while your ps3 plays the dreamy theatre programme. this way you can play your custom songs i guess.

No, sadly. Remotejoy is pretty much the only way to record any actual footage.

You can take screenshots in-game during PV Mode by pressing R.

I know playing levels over and over again unlocks (5 times) clothes and items for the room also getting greats; but does playing the levels over again really unlock new levels.

Only for the 2 songs with versions by the other Vocaloids. You have to play Miku's version of those songs 3 times each to get them.

Ya you should see the gamefaqs boards, everyone is kinda afraid of Sega's Ban hammer and are mostly afraid of uploading their vids. The only vids Sega and youtube dont delete for sure are the custom made miku dances.

Yeah I noticed that but I just can't see why. The game is unpopular enough as it is, and its not like Youtube doesn't host gameplay videos of just about EVERY other game in existence.

The only reason I can possibly think of would be to stop Americans from seeing the game, but that doesn't make much sense either.

Heres an even more funny thing. Dating sim games and similar games that show footage that boarderlines porn barely even get touched. The same thing happend when Grand Theft Auto 4 was released. Anyone releasing their own gameplay footage in the first month was getting banned left and right from that. I personally dont see the difference between having gameplay footage a year form now and when the game is new. Man i dont know what these companies think.

Me neither, especially with a game as unpopular as this. It's probably doing well in Japan but there are so few people in America that even know about it, I don't really see how Sega can turn down the free publicity these videos give them.

ya, and you know, sega can really "Afford" NOT showcase their games. as far as non-sonic games go, Sega has made the suzumiya haruhi games and this Miku game, the last thing Sega needs is to keep themselves restricted to the japanese market.

If you've never used Vocaloid, it is VERY difficult to get her to sing in English. She even has a Japanese accent when she does. Which I find hilarious and adorable.

The PSP slim actually does make it lag less because of the extra RAM, but you should be able to get yours running pretty smoothly if you set the Clock Speed to 333 (if you use Custom Firmware or CWCheat).

Yeah there's 4 songs that are actually just 2 of the ones you already different have, with 2 different Vocaloid singers. To get them you just do the song before them (I forget which ones) 2 or 3 times.

Which 3? A few of them require that you play other songs multiple times.

And yeah, Youtube's deleted a lot of my videos of this, but for some reason this one and another stayed up. I have NO idea why Sega would refuse free advertizing like this, but they're gonna have to give in eventually.

When you think about it though, most rhythm games are dubbed when they come here. And some games like DDR and Beatmania ended up getting a bunch of new English tracks.

Either way, this game has about a 0.1% chance of coming out here, as awesome as it would be.

Yeah, the character the game is based on comes from a voice synthesizing program, so all the songs sound like this.

Personally I love it, but if you don't like it, you probably won't like any of the game.

On the other hand, you can easily make custom tracks out of any MP3, and download other peoples' custom songs. So any rhythm game fan should still get this.

I think people would still appreciate it if she sang in Japanese, but the problem is that it wouldn't sell in America.

Vocaloid isn't very well known here, and its characters like Miku are even less-so.

So definitely don't count on an American release for this game. It isn't too much more expensive to import it! I'm just glad PSPs are region-free.

Ikr? I was a bit doubtful on how teh game would end up, but its reaallly addicting. I've almost unlocked everything and im still hooked on it. Non of the songs feel boring and to make up for it theres a unique stage for every song. As cheesy as the title given to the game, its a good game. Very impressed with sega. :3

I just beat the game with every thing max combo :D, all songs with all difficulties on perfect :), I have wayy to much time, but this game is just so amazing xD. This has definitely hit my top 10 list of favorite games.
