20 dollars on steam but once i saw the combat i changed my mind about getting it. the combat looks kinda odd to me and also looks a little cramped. i like using mage and range in games and if the enemies rush you like he says then id rather this one.still looks good though. would def pick up if it was 15.

Having played Ego Draconis I was trying to decide whether or not I should give DKS a try, this and many other reviews have convinced me I should. I have only one question I remember that items cost high amounts of gold in Ego Draconis is it still the the same in DKS or has it been fixed?

I finished Ego Draconis and it was really hard, never died so much in a game lol, but it was a lot of fun and i enjoyed every minute, well worth picking it up if you have not played it before :)

@Freshoffdahoodbro u can play as a dragon pretty late in the game IMO, it took me hell of a time in my first playthrough before i became a dragon, therefrom u can turn in to a dragon in certain open areas and some mobs is required dragonform to kill while some is better to foot

The one thing that pissed me off to no end about this game: It takes so damn long before you actually become a dragon! Apparently, it's near end-game! At first I thought after clearing the dragon knight trials I would be given my powers. I did not, I thought after I beat the boss of that dungeon I'd get my powers. I felt so shackled even though it was a sandbox game. I wanted to soar the skies above, shoot fireballs at my enemies whenever I want!

@TheItouchiapps lol yeah as long as you have "the dragon knight saga" with the expansions on it they mean doing the main quest AND side quests and all is over 100 hours of gameplay (although still depends on the person playing) but they did say it takes about 40 hours to do the main quest so you must have done really well to beat it in half that time and I'll prolly get this game today for my laptop and I can't wait to play it

@worthalot2 Dragon Knight Saga is Ego Draconis and Flames of Vengeance slapped into one gigantic game. You are probably playing the Ego Draconis part of the story. I'd look at the Ego Draconis walkthrough

@wow3214 - You must be doing somthing wrong then. I can run this game maxed out in tripple screen nVidia surround @ 6020x1080 (bezel adjusted) at around 60-70 FPS (with the latest hotfix). Looks fantastic and plays smooth as silk.

And come on man. I own all the current gen consoles and enjoy them for what they are - gaming machines for casual gamers who can't afford a gaming class PC. You can't possibly compare a PS3 or 360 - both now about 5 generations behind the latest PC technology.

@AlaCarcuss well i m not talking about the quality of the graphics, they are obviously better than the ones on consoles. im talking about the quantity and quality of the games that come out on the consoles, i mean pretty much everything that comes out on pc will be released for the consoles, exepct some mmo's and rts's. on the other hand though, there are so many great games on consoles which never get released on pc. and only graphics just dont make up for that.

When I played Ego Draconis I couldn't get past the first 'tutorial' town and dropped it... But this revamp/update is a certain improvement, I beat it within 4-5 sittings without dropping it. I think the first part of the game... Ego Draconis, having a much open environment reminds me of more sandbox elements, but not too much, while the 'expansion' reminds me of NWN with its endless sidequests in closed environement, but still keeping its fun...

A good game, a surprise for sure.
