@Kingt47 Check that all the cables are plugged in nice and tight. A quick test to try is to swap the RCA connections (red to white, and white to red) and see if the opposite side is now louder.

@moarchzplz You cannot turn mic monitoring off. It's not loud, it's very subtle and it actually sounds MUCH more natural than a headset without it. I'm pretty sure you'd find that it's not annoying at all. When you speak normally, you hear yourself. Mic monitoring just allows you to have the same experience while you're wearing a headset.

@yolouman if you are talking about PC ,then you need both the dss2 (or dss) and the audio advantage micro 2 (check on their website under sound cards.) from this you will get 5.1 surround sound

@TheCodman50 If you really want to wear the microphone on the right side of your head, you'll have to switch the RCA connections as well. Connect red to white, and white to red, and the audio will be correct if you wear the mic on your right ear.

@OhSoErect Please check that both sides of the talkback cable are firmly plugged in (controller and headset side). If the plug isn't in all the way, it can cause problems because of the bad connection. If that’s not the problem, then try a different XBOX controller. Sometimes the jack wears out over time and makes a bad connection with the talkback cable.

@Jay96Rod Test the headset on your PC and see if you can use the microphone on your computer. If it works fine on your PC, then you'll know the microphone is functioning correctly, which means the issue lies elsewhere.

@OpTicXcinema get the p11s lol if u have a playstation. and for future reference the 'x' in 'x12' means ONLY xbox. the 'p' in 'p11' means ONLY playstation. but!! however if its something like the 'px21' the 'p' is for playstation, and the 'x' is for xbox. Both! if there is no 'x' that means no xbox. but if there is no 'p' that means no playstation. x12 will not work for playstation because of no 'p'. hope that helped!
