My flight to London on Singapore Airlines A380 was horrible due to a noisy plane and rude flight attendant but I enjoyed all my other flights with Singapore Airlines.
I flew SIA from LHR-SIA-MEL all on A380's, and the economy class is the quietest I have ever been on... it was eerily quiet on take off! But maybe that was because I was on the top floor, behind business. I flew one leg in first (it had to be done!)... and it was much better than BA first, and a bit like the Jet Airways First.
Emirates is too gold...it does not have that certain "class" ...... its just gold and money wasted all over.... its like a taste for a poor man who just won the lottery taste.
That's why its called service buddy. It is an SIA policy to have their cabin crew place a blanket over the PAX when they request for one. SIA understands what customer service is, little things like placing a blanket on a PAX is a sign of genuine customer service that comes from the heart. That is why SIA is voted the best airline in the world, simply because they know what service means.

They should use music which threads/mixes with traditional sounds. Such as the Malaysian Airlines music. This would make the vid better. Well done singapore airlines, from ur fellow neighbour, and brother, Malaysia airlines ^^. I wonder what would happen if both airlines converge, like back in the 1960s... hmm
Singapore Airlines is on the modern and western side. The two airlines merging would never happen because each has built such a strong brand, SIA being ahead of MH. Well i guess if MH and SIA do merge they may end up taking over the world of aviation.

Yes- the better/newer the plane, the less sound you hear. I heard the A380 gives very minimal noise, though.
