I could really use this for my tnt fireworks... For wirelessly setting them off, so I don't have to climb up a flight of stairs, ignight the TNT, and jump into a small pond. I could also do TNT A then TNT B, ect.

I think the configurator is there so if you have redstone from another thing right next to it, the reciever wont fuck it up

The Power Configurator is like an all-direction repeater. Say you have a circuit next to a reciever that powers something else. Without the Power Configurator, it will power the wire next to it for that other circuit as well, which you don't want at all.

@littlemimic27 Wireless is the means to transmit data through waves. Measured in Ghz, waves are usually transmitted (for 'Wireless Internet Connection'/Network at 2.4GHz, or 5GHz, each with their own separate channels.

Fluctuations are sent via these ways, through the transmitter. The receiver, carefully looking for the correct waves, will pick up the fluctuations, and then translate the data into usable code for a computer to use.

I'm not entirely sure but it seems like the power configurator is for making things more compact so that you can run a seperate redstone wire next to the receiver without it interfering.

This can be done in multiplayer with a plugin called Wireless Redstone. It is slightly different but the same thing basicaly.

Hm, very interesting mod, but there seems to be an issue (for me at least):

Is it possible to change the frequency via a redstone circuit? Thatd be nice, since you could connect several transmitters to several receivers, every transmitter being able to send a signal to every receiver, which you could control via a redstone circuit. But I think I'm a bit to greedy on that one =S

the power configurator seems to be good for compacting down a system. like for your hatch drawbridge system, you could practically make it half or even a quarter of the size instead of spreading it out to reduce the chances of cross wiring.

I actually found a use for the configurator... if you're wiring was really close together or adjacent to the configurator then you could turn off that side, disabling any conflicts by sending power to that side.

You can also find an automatic installer tool there if you can't be arsed to do it manually (I never bother wasting time doing it manually anymore personally). If you're having trouble, don't be afraid to make some noise in the forum thread, there's always someone to help. :)

@Flameifaction I think you've misunderstood how the mod works. There are no limit to range, you can't change the range and wireless signals do not interact with any wired redstone directly, only through receiver/transmitter nodes.
