  • Well, I probably look like a royal dick in the summer but I'll often just go t-shirt and jeans. I still wear a helmet (It's not against the law not to here), but the helmet is really about it...

  • Just cut those fucking lines lol.

  • 99% of the time I wear full gear (minus riding pants, I just wear jeans). I have a mesh jacket so even in the summer time it is still comfortable to ride with. I live in Arizona (U.S.) where the air is very arid so that probably helps as well. THIS is one of the states that does not require helmets, haha. Only time I don't wear gear is after giving my bike a good wash, I take it for a short spin to air-dry it, and warm up the chain to apply lubricants. BTW- You rock dude!

  • i totally compromise my safety! but i'm an idiot for that matter lol

  • The one time I didn't wear armored pants, I take a rash to a knee avoiding a distracted driver on my scooter. Driver fled the scene. It was great. I'll have knee pads as a compromise next time for shorter rides.

  • underwood/springwood area

  • During the summer I chose to wear shorts and a t-shirt. I still had on my gloves and helmet, but I crashed and got really torn up! Couldnt walk for weeks! So I try to wear all my gear more often now......... PS Blinky, your the man- Shout out from the US

  • It depends on how spirited the ride will be. I've crashed (lowsided) in jeans and a t-shirt, but I was going about 45km/h, no damage other than a scratch on my arm. So if I'm going to be in urban areas going at low speeds, and it's really hot, I'm happy with just light summer gloves and full face helmet (never sacrifice those). But at higher speeds, I'll wear my vented textile jacket and trousers. If I'm doing country roads on my bike rather than scooter, I always go ATGATT.

  • I live in the US and in my state..helmets are optional. Personally I wear my gear ALL the time, even if its around the corner to the store. My uncle who is a police officer said that helmets should be mandatory that way the can identify the corpse because the head usually stays in the helmet even after decapitation! LOL

  • In every state here it's mandatory to have a helmet but some places have loopholes(certain amount of injury insurance excludes helmet, the helmet has to be somewhere on the bike not necessarily on the head) I wear motorcycle knee guards with shorts or under my jeans, if it's too hot elbow and and shoulder guards instead of a jacket. gloves, boots, and full face helmet at all times

  • i live in tasmania and its winter 12 months and summer 0 months lol :)

  • It's extra on your insurance if you decide to not wear a helmet here I believe, it's what I was told but I wear my gear anyhow.

  • Just live in canberra, its winter 9 months a year and for the other 3 months its a top of 24 degree's.

  • I would never sacrifice, but that being said, I have gone down to the shops and only wore jeans and a hoodie for a 2 min ride, but I mean something like 60% of crashes are within 2 miles of home, so technically I'm being risky huh?

  • I'd definitely suggest going for a vented textile jacket. Personally I'd rather cook in my leather two piece than ride in shorts, but that's just me.

  • Distance honestly doesn't mean much when you are riding. There is still that probability you are going to get hit and personally I'd prefer some protection. Same thoughts with sex, idgaf how long I plan on banging... I'm going to have some protection.

  • Shorts are really bad :/ - Think of it this way, if you low slide or drop the bike, it's going to drop on your legs - motorcycle trousers offer you more protection than your jacket in an accident - you should at least wear knee or hip protection.

  • the guy below is right, in ireland we find ourselves putting extra gear on.

  • In Ireland its 12 months of rain and cold and IF your lucky about 3 days of sun in spring

  • I ALWAYS wear a helmet, in Missouri US, it's the Law, and I will either wear a leather jacket or one of those breathing friction jackets.

  • In most states in the US you have to wear a helmet, in fact in the Northeast (I forget which state) someone was protesting the helmet law and rode without one, got in an accident and died. In Missouri there are now laws in the works that will say no one under the age of ten can even be on a motorcycle while the key is in the ignition.

  • I ALWAYS wear a helmet but usually that's it unless it's cold, btw you have to wear a helmet if you're under 21 or you have to wear a helmet if you haven't taken a saftey course, but it's not a law that's actually enforced

  • "In America, you don't have to wear a helmet"

If you are that dumb, natural selection will always win.

  • DUDE MAKE SOME VIDEOS

  • not me all the gear :) i dont wanna have road or cotton scraped off my skin no thanks not worth it i bought the gear so i am gonna use it. Plus if you buy you should use it or you just wasted a couple hundred dollars for it to sit in your closet lol

  • kevlar padded jeans are great (but not water proof)

  • if find a good compromise is to wear your jaket undon to get some air flow, if you keep the kuffs done up the chances are that even if u come off ur jaket will stay on

  • i think 3 hot is an exaggeration! i wear gloves in the summer on my Honda 125 but iv come off at about 30 wearing shorts and you can walk away with bleeding knees and ankles so don't go wild in shorts : )

  • where is the new vid blinky?!

  • Get vented MC leathers.... :/ I ride to work everyday and then put on my suit at work ^_^

  • @cklsynt

Wear the suit while riding, you'll look badass :D

  • @davetechme

Bro he doesn't need a 600 he needs to get the new zx10r!!

  • Icon Field Armor is a godsend.

  • i would probably give up the jacket for a icon vest, the vest protect like ur main organs and stuff not really ur arms though lol but i mean thats if its like really hot i would probably do that.

  • Blinky, when are you going to step up to a 600?

  • @davetechme When he's good and ready.

    /watch?v=OsYvxQ5cP-s to find out why.

  • I'm cooking some muffins actually.

  • It's not the heat that I hate, it's the humidity. I was born in Johannesburg, it has a nice dry heat. Moved later to Durban, the humidity genuinely wore me down.

  • The bottom line is it's your skin and your choice. You'll never walk up to someone with a cigarette and moan at them for smoking, same with beer, both of which kill more people each year than bikes. Live and let live, you wear shorts, I don't. As you'd say where you live "no worries mate" :-)

  • Im planning on wearing a mesh jacket during the summer and a leather jacket in the winter, get a helmet with vents that can open and close and wear some type of leg protection when I can stand it. The same with gloves and boots. Its not unusual to be over 100º f here throughout summer. Just about to start riding, thanks for the how to ride videos!

  • Blinkycab looks a bit like the dude off OC, the Stig and Gizmo combined.

  • when i get my bike, im getting all geared up. no point in dying over something i can control

  • Show us your face punk! Or have you already? :) I dunno.

I wonder what you look like though O.O

  • Always jacket and cloves. And pants. And helmet. Helmet and gloves at the least. But usually all gear. Ive been down before. It sucks to have asphalt scrubbed out of you. And most of you will say "im not going down". Yes you will at some point. Its not that your not a good rider. But everyone else doesnt look out for bikes. Blinky some states in america you dont have to wear a helmet. Minnesota, texas, south carolina(if your 21 or over) florida to name a few. I live in north carolina. We have t

  • Always a helmet and jacket, long or fast rides add gloves and jeans. But it does feel good riding in shorts and bare hands. Lol before this video I knew you were from Bris, I recognised the roads from your earlier vids.

  • if im going really short distance (like around campus), ill just go t-shirt and helmet (no gloves).

anytime on main roads i have my thin textile jacket and usually jeans or shorts if i run out of jeans.

i dont think shorts are that bad. who cares if you fall your legs get shredded into chicken wings but its all good

  • I'm yet to see a summer on my bike, having just gotten my Ls. However, I've gotten a little warm in my jacket already. That said, taking out the lining and leaving the meshy but still armoured outer layer gives me some good breeze.

  • cool vid !, can you make a video about keeping your revs high while they're low (featering the clutch) thnx ! =D

  • say ur shifting down gear, when you let out the clutch do you have to add throttle?

  • @hellomynameis162 That depends when you're shifting down gear to stop, you don't need to add throttle. If you're shifting down gear to go round a corner, add throttle but not too much. Hope it helps:)

  • i am getting my bike L's in a few weeks how much would you reccomend paying for a 2010 model ninja 250r late this year?

  • Wear mesh w/ armor... wind goes right through it and protects against sun dehydration issues. Also, a lot of people buy the soak vests that release water vapors within your jacket/helmet... Look like a biking swimmer, but good for the long rides.

  • Same thing in Israel, 9 summer, 3 winter

  • thanks to blinky I can watch the unknown (civilized) parts of Australia (manely)!

  • In Malaysia. only hot weather. Normally maybe around 32 or 34 Celsius. Majority are small bike here, no jacket, not glove, no shoe. But not wearing helmet is against the law. So all bike rider must wearing helmet. & I still saw a lot of big bike rider here still wearing all the protective gear even it is very hot here. For me I also will wear protective gear. For your own safety. It is important.

  • I won't ride without my helmet, only for very short distances at low speeds where I am in minimal danger. I live in texas and in the city so sitting at stop lights is killer with full gear on. The majority of the time I have helmet, gloves, and jeans. When it stars getting chilly I'll throw on the jacket, thermal layer, under layers of clothes as well. It's way too hot in the summer here to wear full gear, I will look bad and smell bad whenever I get there if I do

  • Nope, always full gear

Hmm, weather condition?... various from 24.8F (april, november) to 104F(july)

and beleve me it save my knee, elbow and palm in last accident 13.09.2011

motorcycle totaled, nissan x-trail hit motorcycle at the right side at crossing,

so i will buy new ybr125, good old gpz 750 is not suitable for lane splitting :(.

    Nolan N62

    Alpinestars Bionic

    Padana 4SR

    Madhead knee (long carbon)

    Padana gloves game

  • I wear all the gear I own 100% of the time.

Well.. That's a lie, I have 4 gloves and only 2 hands; and there's no way I'm wearing my winter gloves and summer gloves at the same time~ but yeah ;D

Way I see it, you wouldn't drive a car that had no walls, doors or ceiling - just a floor-pan and some seats, because it'd be dangerous!

So why the hell would you ride a bike without gear?

  • I live in Arizona. Even in 110 degrees fahrenheit I still wear my gear. I go with the old adage "cover up what you want to keep." There is no helmet law in Arizona and I often see idiots riding around in tank tops, shorts and sandals with no helmet. Best of luck to them.

  • Doesn't get hot enough in the UK! I'll wear gloves, Leather jacket and helmet. I'll wear my leather trousers most of the time but if it's hot I'll wear jeans. Nothing less.

  • If you're more comfortable then chances are that you would be more focused on riding than being hot or uncomfortable, and therefore less likely to crash. However, even when you are comfortable you can still crash, obviously, so it's a bit of a gamble.

  • Just a question - what's the logic behind wearing shorts but always wearing your jacket? You'd prefer to keep the skin on your arms than the skin on your legs? Just curious!

I'm also hypocritical - always wear all of my gear when I'm riding but am comfortable wearing less protective gear on my boyfriend's bike as I trust he is much more capable than I!

  • Comfort = safety. you dont want to be thinking about gee its hot all the time you rideing you will lose concentration so don't ride at all if it too hot or don't ride for too long and take brakes inbetween and keep hydrated all the time. but i wear all my gear but i would not ride for too long on very hot days,

  • Comfort = safety. you dont want to be thinking about gee its hot all the time you rideing you will lose concintration so dont ride at all if it too hot or dont ride for too long and take brakes inbetween and keep hydrated all the time. but i wear all my gear but i would not ride for too long on very hot days,

  • Jeans, helmet, gloves but I often leave the jacket home and ride in a T-shirt when I just ride around town. If I go for a more spirited ride, I'll wear the one piece leather suir no matter what.

  • I'm all the gear all the time.. even jeans in 90F weather.

  • I would just drive a car butt naked with the AC on. Fair Enough? lol I do hate putting on gear on some hot ass days..so i guess Safety > Comfort

  • Living in Texas were it got to 102-115ºF for a month straight, I would only wear helmet and gloves in extremely hot weather.

Normal temp: full gear for long distance, helmet, gloves for short.

    Cold... Extra full gear.

  • @2tIMES100 This is a good explanation. I also live in Texas. That's what I've been doing since I got comfortable riding, when I first started, a year and a half ago where I felt much more vulnerable I wore full gear, but now I don't "feel" as vulnerable while riding. (of course a car could pull out in front of me and my skill doesn't help to much then, but I'm willing o take that risk I suppose.

  • @constarrZ Exactly. I myself haven't got a motorcycle...Not until Dec. that is. But yes, once I'm comfortable riding and what not I probably won't wear full gar that much.

But never ever ever ever go without a helmet.

  • I always wear a helmet, leather jacket, gloves, kevlar jeans and boots no matter what the weather, but lucky for me (in regards to lots of gear) I live in London where its very rare to see hot weather, I think if I were in a hotter country I would still do the same but invest in "summer" versions of the above clothing.

  • i dont ahve a bike....but i would definatly wear a helmet but unless im going onma highway i would just wear a t shirt and shorts maybe jeans

  • i wear all gear all the time for insurance reasons

  • BLINKY LIVES IN BRISBANE!!!!!! STALK STALK STALK :D MWAHAHAHA

  • Since i don't have a motorcycle i cant awnser the question, but for sure i would use protection all the time.

But I have a question for you blinky, I am 15, and i am soon abel to drive motorcycle and train my skills etc, and i wounder, do you think a R6 with 25KW is a good choise of a first bike?

  • In England, 9 months cold and 3 hot :D

  • @ballshok in ireland, 10 months cold and 2 freezing =D

  • @ballshok in scotland 11 months cod , 1 month lukewarm

  • so here in scotland , we pretty much HAVE to wear our gear. Maybe ONE day a year it might be a bit too hot for the thermal layer , so i take that out , but not warm enough to make me take it off.

  • @ballshok lies its more like 11 months 2 weeks cold and 2 weeks of hot

  • @ballshok 2011= 51 weeks cold, 1 week slightly warm

  • @wakasakiwakasaki it was pretty a hot a couple months ago or so, freezing now though

  • I live in texas and it gets up to 100+ fahrenheit so ya i don't wear a jacket all the time, when it gets cooler i'll throw it on. Also if im going far/ highway riding im always wearing it.

  • I always wear jeans, jacket helmet and gloves. if it is absoultely roasting it depends where i am going, if im going into town to get bread or whatever, im not exceding 25mph, i might just wear a thick hoody, but if i'm off to college (20 miles, 70mph all the way) i would never wear hoody and that. always got the jacket on

  • is comortability a word cos doesnt sound right?

  • All protective gear all the time. My jacket has air vents so i dont get very hot.

  • I always wear all my gear everytime I ride, but I do live in tassie so even in summer it doesn't really get super hot

  • I'm a newb rider in South Florida, and it gets really hot here too. From March to November, it's always at least 27 C.

When I ride in the afternoon, I tend to wear protective leggings, and a back vest with a thin sweater I have (really thin). Then, in the early mornings and nights, I wear all gear. Luckily, motorbike storage isn't that expensive, so I can mount a nice bag on the tank where I put my bike stuff (gear, tools, emergency phone, etc.).

  • i started wearing shorts this summer but decided that it's dumb to wear a jacket with shorts. this might be dumb in its self but this is how it goes. helmets always though!

  • Being from Florida (a state with no helmet law) I just don't understand how some of us can ride without one. Now I don't preach wear your gear nor don't wear your gear because like you say in the vid I wear what i feel comfy in. Its a personal choice to wear it and for me it all depends on what I'm going to be doing on the bike that day.

  • yah here in Texas were used to 100+degrees. I wear my helmet and gloves and maybe on ocassion jeans. its rediculous

  • Here in Texas it's 100+ degrees F daily, I usually wear only gloves and my Helmet... We get about 3-4 weeks of real "winter" here with a loooooong summer.

  • Depends on your style. I wear a helmet because it's the law, and I only wear a half helmet unless it's below 60 degrees Farenhite (or how ever ya spell it) I wear leather when the temp requires it. Been run over, down, and everything I recon but I can take it. The only time I was seriously hurt my helmet broke. Was glad to have had it on. My bike is my transpertation and I'm going to be as comfee as possible...

  • motorcross gear - textile with amour then eather air venturelayted jacket or rain coat let's face it on one's goner be doing over 85mph and the touring / motorcross with viyser real real look's the part and turn's alot of head's

  • Love your videos :)

  • damned youtube posting errors.. sorry for the flood ;-)

  • In Arizona summers, 120f is not unheard of (48c) - Mesh Textile jacket, helmet, boots, gloves and kevlar jeans. I'd rather sweat than bleed

  • @emptym01 Crazy, similar weather here in my part of Texas, but I just can't make myself fully gear up unless I'm heading out on a longer trip... around town is just helmet and possibly gloves.

  • in ireland we have 12months of winter and maybe if were lucky, one day of summer. im still going to get my first bike tho!

  • ATGATT

  • you should come to melbourne you will love it cold all the time, 9 month cold 3 month hot here

  • Woo blinky is back. I have one question for you. Do you like to scooter??

  • I compromise safety for AFFORDABILITY.

  • I almost always pop my visor off, unless I'm night riding. Feels a lot better.

  • Even in 42 degree heat I will wear my helmet, leather jacket, leather gloves, full length riding boots, spine protector and at a minimum kevlar pants, but usually leather pants too.

  • I always wear full gear and on the day I was in an accident the gear saved me. It was 95f and I showed up to work all sweaty and bam I got ran over by a truck

  • Well its law in Georgia to wear a helmet, I generally wear everything all the time, I wear shorts when on my scoot tho but wear knee pad shin guard things. I have various jackets and helmets to accommodate the hot humid weather down to the bonechilling cold. After getting horrible roadrash from crashing my bicycle I pretty much try to protect myself if its motorized

  • I always wear full face helmet, but unless I'm going on highways, Florida summers are simply unbearable. I always wear jeans and covered shoes at the very least.

I refuse to wear leather pants.

  • I never compromise safety for comfort. But it rarely ever gets too hot for comfort here in Newfoundland, Canada. So glad it's getting into summer down there in Australia (literally the opposite side of the world than me), it will help us Canadians get through our long winter. You should check out NinjaRobDog's channel, wicked vlogger, and he's in Brisbane!

  • I don't compromise safety for anything. But it's rarely every too hot here to be uncomfortable when riding. So glad its getting in to summer there in Australia now that it's fall here in Canada. You should check out NinjaRobDog's channel, he's in Brisbane too.

  • There is dry heat and there is humid heat. Dry heat can be managed because the wind cools you down when evaporating your perspiration. Humid heat is more of a problem because your sweat does not evaporate in the wind.

When riding my motorbike during the humid summer periods, I wear ventilated motocross gear or normal street clothes over a Forcefield Action Shirt and Forcefield lower body gear. I will also take a break every 20 minutes so that I don't stress my body in these conditions.

  • Winter is over to you ;)

  • Indiana, USA: Law states eye gear is required but no helmet. I ALWAYS wear a helmet regardless of temp but will generally only wear a tshirt and pants or maybe (just maybe) shorts

  • I reside in England and always wear my gear, no matter how long I'm riding for or where I'm going. It lmakes you stand out and lets everybody know just who owns the beast thats sat outside that woke the neighbourhood up when it cruised on in.

It would be a shame if you came off and we lost a decent motorcycle vlogger.

  • ALWAYS, I mean ALWAYS use a jacket, specially in the summer because the asphalt is really hot and if it gets in contact with your skin you will be in even more trouble than if you fall in the winter. There are great summer jackets and gloves, use them. And cheap to. And in the summer always use knee-caps (if you use shorts) that protect at least some part of your shin(small, you can keep them in the bag once you hop of the bike). And never use slippers, if you fall you might lose a foot.

  • i always wear my helmet jacket and gloves all the time and sometimes i wear jeans and other times i put my textile trousers on

  • I its realy hot I have gone with out a jacket but thats all.

  • It's been 35C+ here and I still ride with helmet, jacket, gloves, boots and long pants. If I don't feel like wearing the gear, I don't get on the bike.

  • Big gun butchers/grocers represent. I lived near there for a long time, and I still go past there every now and then :)

  • strange this video didnt show up in my subscribed list

  • I don't wear any gear at all, if I wreck I'm going to wreck like a boss. and I ride a Busa so it completes the squid look.

  • OMG BLINKY

thats a first your wearing jeans instead of bordshorts lol but the same shoes

in summer i where all my gear and the one time i put in boots mx pants sort shirt chest pl8 and short shirt i fell off and got 42 stitchers in my knee so now all my gear including long shirt on a 40 degree day.

  • OMG BLINKY

thats a first your wearing jeans instead of bordshorts lol but the same shoes

  • ya winter also starts here in India now

  • full sleves + helmet thatz it ... Super Hot in India

  • Basket ball shorts* lmao!! Balls lol

  • Im a total squid. All i wear is a helmet. I live in Florida where even when its 80F it feels like 105F because of the humidity. So i normally wear basket balls shorts and i t-shirt with sneakers. I have a jacket but with all the traffic it makes it so hot its unfun to ride. I only gear up for long trips or highway riding.

  • The highest temp I have ridden in is 34C...it was damn hot, but I wore all my gear...boots, jeans, jacket, gloves and helmet...it was only uncomfortable when I had to stay under 40kph, otherwise it was okay...road rash sucks no matter what the temp is, possibly worse if you are sweating into the wound...and as for the familiar road argument, people can cut you off even on roads you could ride with your eyes closed...and one crash head first into the asphalt can be the end for you...WEAR THE GEAR

  • It's not a law to whear a helmet in the U.S. because its a proven fact that it cuts off some of you'r vision and hearing. But anyways I always whear atleast my helmet!

  • I live in Hawaii and I always wear jeans, helmet, gloves, and a mesh jacket. I do wear a t-shirt under my jacket and I simply change into shorts when i get where i'm going.

  • I always wear pants, gloves, and helmet, but sometimes I just use my shirt instead of a jacket when it's a nice day. But I don't like to do that cause A) I feel like a squid and B) It's obviously unsafe

  • Always wear a helmet and jeans, never shorts. Generally wear a t-shit but I have a mesh jacket that I wear sometimes. My gloves were too small and make using the controls difficult so I never wear them either.

  • ATGATT. (All the gear all the time) Doesn't matter how hot it is, or how short the ride is, always have all my gear on.

  • Blinky when im old enough im thinking of buying a ninja as well... Your vids really made me want one more and can you make a video on how to turn. Thx

  • meatloaf

    meatloaf is cooking

  • it's only certain states that have no helmet laws and only retards don't wear their helmet.

  • I know what you're asking and NO I don't use a rubber. XD

  • I have a summer riding gear and winter so i'm always geared up

  • i -3 u blink

  • Try full gear in Houston, Texas everyday and see how long you last.

    Helmet - no matter what.

    Gloves - no matter what.

Jacket - most of the time

    Pants - sometimes.

For example, right now, September 25th, Houston, Tx it is 96 degrees.

    Plus 1400% humidity.

  • I'd like to say that I allways use full protection, but on a really hot day i may find myself riding in shorts.. And without gloves too sometimes. But i have really learned a lesson, me and a friend was trying out some scooters and i got too low in a roundabout and i fell. fortunately I was wearing full protection, if I diddent things could have turned out quite different.

  • I always wear full gear, but pants, even when it's hot outside and I live in Mexico, it gets really hot sometimes. That's the reason I have a leather jacket and a mesh one.

  • always were jeans at least, and then have my jacket open if its really hot, but aways jeans jacket helmet gloves, and if your getting sweaty balls just have your fly undone and stand up for a second ;D

you should really buy mx knee protection though blinky, at leas, it'll keep you safer and it'll still be as cool, if you must wear shorts :)

  • Once you see whats happened to a friend, you will change your decision of not wearing gear :)

  • i where on hot days just pants and a helmet. i feel that if im hot and sticky then i tend to ride more aggressive so,i think im a bit safer not wearing a jacket or gloves.

  • Live in Scotland so wear as much clothes/protection as possible lol

  • I can't wear shorts riding my legs will get burnt. i usually ride with helmet gloves and jacket with just jeans and shoes.. dumb i know. occasionally i wont wear a jacket but yeah, you should be atgatt

  • Blinky make a video of how to get your license or something on that line !! Try out

  • I ride naked. But then again I have a scooter soooooooooooooooooo

  • Sometimes, wearing gear might be worse than not wearing gear. If you get hot and sweaty and uncomfortable, your concentration will waver and you'll start thinking about how much this sucks and no concentrate on the road.

  • I wear shorts during summer while riding also but I always go out with my Riding Jacket now. One of my friends low sided this past summer and won't have skin on his right side for around a year now

  • Well here in the uk the weather Is amazing! So it pretty much all gear all the time! Which obviously means full waterproofs :|

    Blinkycab -3

  • If ive geared up ready to go out to town (5 mins away) and realize i need to visit the toilet as mother nature came knocking.. I tend to take a dump in my jacket, helmet, gloves and boots.. Heck, could be some explosive shit! (Oh the puns)

  • I have a 4 season textile jacket, has 3 layers, and keeps warm in the winter + waterproof, and cool in the summer thru the mesh amterial and vents, and really comfortable :D Rst ventillator 2

  • @MrLee91s i have that same jacket and the trousers to match it, its brillant and i can vouch that it doesnt get worn out easily because i have had a crash recently with it on, slid down the road and all it got was dirty, brilliant jacket for protection!

  • I always wear jeans, my helmet, and gloves. I usually skip out on a jacket during the summer because I live in Texas, where it's usually 45C+, and it's just too damn hot to ride with a jacket on. Either that, or I don't ride at all, because the air going into your helmet and stuff is so hot it's hard to breathe.

  • most of my gear most of the time is the realistic truth.

  • the no helmet law is only in some states but most states make you wear one

  • 99% i wear my gear - helm, leather jacket, gloves, kevlar jeans and boots... pretty comfortable. i had a slide once at 60kmh and had all my gear on and all no injuries whatsoever (greatful no cars were around) - if i had normal jeans or shorts i would have a big fat scar on my knee right now - RIDERS BEWARE

  • you should just ride around but naked

  • Wearing gear in the heat protects you from sunburns >.<

  • Obviously not directed at British viewers.
