i had the same kind of problem you had

u could-

1) start with the cobra or tasmanian devil and go up. If your friends use their peer pressure powers they them that you need to use the restroom and ditch them, you could tell them that you didn't eat breakfast and buy yourself som food

2) go with som1 whose jsut as fraid as you and avoid the rides. If you fall into their peer pressure tell them to fk off, if that doesn't work then just enjoy the ride. try to cuss during the falls, it helps a lot

im also a begineer-ish. i got on a couple of rides in great america but it dosent match the rides in six flags. what do you think i should ride for my first one there. im kinda scared of heights but i dont want to embarresed myself infront of my friends. what do you guys think i go on for my first ride?

Roar and the boomerang are this simplest ones (that are still any fun) there. Also the cobra's not bad, but its kind of a baby ride.

Go on medusa though, I went on that for the 2nd roller coaster ever (not counting baby one's) when i was 9, and to this day it's the most fun I've had in my life.

If ur goin to this park i recommend starting on the wild one. simple layout, 3 or 4 hills in a row, turn around, 3 or 4 hills back. a little helix then ur done. if you like that, then ride ROAR. as you see in the video, it has more turns than hills, as you see in the video.
