@ancientclown Please spare me the boo-hoo sad stories, I have heard them all, as I had no money, no car, only the clothes on my back, but yet, I was able to remain clean, & go out looking for work every day on a regular old pedal bike instead of hanging uot at the local Catholic Charities until the local sheltor would allow the homeless to return for the evening.

Within two weeks, I not only had a job, but a place of my own, so it can be done if people try.

1. I was kicked out of an overflow shelter in Kingston for asking the worker to show compassion to another person they were kicking out at 2am in the middle of February. Wasn't violent, drunk, or stoned-just asked for compassion.

2. I was kicked and banned for 2 weeks for NOT fighting back when ASSAULTED by a staff member at OUR PLACE in Victoria.
