@earzmundo The 2 girls aren't Sarah Reiser and Laura Beard are they (the girls in Cedric's previous group The Fall on Deaf Ears?) Someone below said that it was them, but I didn't think it was, because Napoleon Solo was written for them. I was under the impression that the song was about 2 girls who were fans. Do you know?
my question = On the ‘Ludvico Drive-In’ track off the ‘Carajo’ EP, backup vocals were done by Laura Beard and Sarah Reiser, who eventually died in a car crash two years later. Did this influence any future songs, even if in some unknown semblance?
jim ward's answer = The song “Initiation” was a tribute to them as far as I know, Cedric obviously wrote the lyrics and was very close to the girls. It was and still is a tremendous loss.
@CheeseVandal You know. I use to think Circa was the best. But this band has taken it to a whole nother level. This is an amazing band. This song is amazing.
The first time I saw this band was in '95 at a park in the small town I grew up in TX. The Impossibles and some other local bands played there too. This song has always been my favorite. I definitely think it's about an obsessed fan/stalker of a band member. The song has a lot of emotion, especially the chorus. The lyrics of the song are kind of morbid but the emotion that they're sung with make them beautiful.
@cjw22suki you're so lucky to have seen them live, I was born to late to have enjoyed them... and to that I can only give a long, drawn out, Siighhhhhhhhhhhhh
Such good fucking music what the fuck has happened to music i swear there no heart to the song catchy but dosent givce that wierd feeling of reminescence and shit
dunno i think it might be about some stalker or something that is obsessed with a band and "follows them home after every show"...lol just guessing...
@GlennYule It's about 2 fans who would go to every ATDI show, and they died on the way to one of the shows and then this song was written about them. It's not about stalkers

this song is definitely about him being the victim of an over-obsessed fan that he would like to kill.
