Totally unnecessary for her to be in her underwear...that is creepy and detracts from whatever he is trying to teach. Why a woman in her underwear, why not a Man.
thank you for your comment. Generally, is muscle energy technique one of the most gentle manual therapies that exist. However, I think you shut never do therapy without a clear diagnosis, and clear strategie for how to be treated optimally. There can be many causes of lumbar lordosis, since this in itself is not an injury but a compensatory problem created by a primary problem elsewhere, typically in the pelvis.
Hope it was an answer to your question or please feel free to contact me again
GREAT PRESENTATION ! However IT IS NOT muscle energy technique OR at least NOT how it is presented in our osteopathic model which is still how it was developed by our late professor ! YOUR explanation of what you did is great. ****
@ZENSIBLE sure its muscles energy.....she is moving against his resistance after which she relaxes and he moves her to a new barrier and its then repeated. thats the basis of muscle energy
@absolutetuber If you read the technique as the original form, the resistance is NOT held for 20 secs and there is absolutely no rocking back and forth as he demonstrates. Also in my opinion one must nullify to be specific for the dysfunctional segment rather than treating L1,2,3,4,5, as he does ?? As i said on my orginal comment he does excellent but per say not M.E.T as was created ?
If you knew anything about the human body, you would know that the "crack" you hear is more often than not just gaz inside the joints' capsule "popping". You can easely put vertabraes back in place without that sound. Just release the tension on the soft tissue that is causing the misalignment and the ligaments will do their job of bringing the structure back into alignment. And without danger of damaging the articular cartillage. Be careful who you call a fake. Think before you speak up.
The Processus transversus of the lumbar vertebrae are differentiated into 3 smaller processus but the most prominent processus which looks the most as the processus transversus is called Processus Costalis to be exact bigbear ;).

L2 doesn't have a transerse process, it's called a mamillary process. Why are you still twisting the shit out of these people. You are a certified retarded quack

My question: Would you recommend this strongly for all cases of lumbar lordosis or anterior pelvic tilt?
