  • wow that was very interesting! but don't you worry when you let 3 eagles hunt at the same time? they don't fight badly about the prey and hurt themselves?

  • OMG!!

  • @cateyes221981 if crows are that smart shouldn't they be at the top of the food chain (like falcons) instead of picking rotten vegetable scraps out of tin garbage cans?

  • @Thehunterof1998 actually crows are the smartests of birds, and they pick vegetable scraps because they are omnivores and scavengers, not pure hunters, oh, and scavengers are technically at the top of the food chain, but raptors are some of the most impressive and beautiful animals of the world, I love eagles and goshawks.

  • @BoppininBmore go eat another boca burger and keep convincing your self that socialism really works despite the historical evidence to the contrary.

  • This is awesome footage. That deer got away once, but then was rag-tagged again.

  • @BoppininBmore narrowminded idiot!!

  • Apparently this sport is illegal in the U.S. SOMEHOW its considered animal cruelty; even though its in the birds nature to hunt other animals

  • @McLovinJon only faggots and cowards, narrowminded people say this is cruel! this is probalby the most beautiful way to hunt.

  • @McLovinJon Actually it isn't, it's very much legal, you just have to have an apprenticeship and have the birds living places evaluated. It's a widely practiced sport and in no way cruelty. The birds have protection and care and a safe source of food.

  • Look cateyes221981 if you don't like falconry then what the hell are you doing whatching vidoes of hunting?! Leave us to our sport you hypocrite

  • Beautiful birds. Beautiful hunting.

  • I would love to take some specially trained killer attack dogs to visit SteveAlaska and every other falconer on earth. I'll pull out my video camera, flush all the falconers out of their home, and when they're running for their lives, ill sick the killer dogs to Chase em down and murder them. Sound extreme? Thats what falconers do to other living creatures.

  • @orcuttkickboxer Oh dear.Someone was bullied at school for smelling of piss and now he lives in a fantasy world of specially trained killer dogs.Shitboxer will be sitting in front of his playstation just now wearing his mothers soiled undercrackers on his head and playing with his micro weaner.Cheer up fella, maybe some day you will find your perfect ladyboy and get a real knob in your shitty arse instead of allowing killer dogs to have their wicked way with you.

  • I think this is one of my favorite videos on the net! Thanks for posting it guys. I have a golden and he is too dangerous to fly imprint from years ago. He loves dogs and I know it will get me in a lawsuit sooner or later from idiots like cateyes221981 who have no idea what she is talking about.

  • this is digusting all falconers need to be shot in the head

falconers hunt beautiful birds like crows that is disgusting crows are smarter then falcons god u make me sick all of u burn in hell!

  • @cateyes221981

it is disgusting if they do not eat the prey.

atleast they dont eat crap like humans and crows, Segulls, Fox, racoons, ect.... do.

  • @cateyes221981 Shut the fuck up.

  • Excellent, what fantastic birds.

  • excellent stuff, i would live to have a go but we dont have the terrain near by.

  • that was almost beautiful... neat shit!

  • i so need to gte my falconry liscense....does owls fall under these guidlines?i mean they are birds of prey

  • wow, that was awesome! So cool when they killed it. HOW do you keep these birds anyway?

  • OMG! i want one so fucking bad, does anyone know where can i get one, and how much does it cost? thank you.

  • From what i understand it takes many years of training and apprenticeships to get the falconry license (much more than money) soooo in a year and a half Ill hopefully have my PharmD license and Ill combine that with my veterinary degree to get a raptor rehab license.

i have a friend in western Massachusetts who has been rehabilitating birds of pray for over 40 years, and it helps knowing someone who has already gone through the licensing process.

    good luck

    -simon

  • You need a license. Train with a master, catch a hawk, go from there.

  • catch a hawk? how do you mean that?

  • Once you have your license, you have to climb a tree and steal a hatchling.

  • i see that you are from USA. but is it legal to do so? I am from Slovenia (Europe) and here stealing eggs or hatchlings is prohibited by law!

  • @angelpollogol you cant really buy eagles. you have to have like a million permits and a recomendation plus like a thousand hours of experience with other birds of prey before you can own one. you also need a hunting and falconry liscense. other than that you have to catch them in the wild they are not sold legaly.

  • golden eagle will beat the bald eagle any day

  • God is amazing....

  • Great Video!!

I Love Falconry, but I was hoping that the last deer would escape. he deserved it.

  • run bambi run

  • Unglaublich

  • Bravo to the eagles for the first strike and bravo to the roe deer for the getaway. It's all about the hunt, not the catch. Great video!

  • Sehr gutes Video! Danke!

  • no thats in austria

  • Im against hunting but this is very cool...

  • HURENSOHN!

  • This is perhaps the coolest thing I've ever seen on youtube

  • You said it needs Patience, time and Money

Patience is available, time is ok

But how much money you call it expensive 1000 $ is expensive for some body and 1 Mil $ is also expensive for another one

    So how expensive it is

I love this sport and I want to join Im a reef keeper and they also say its expensive so I want to know how expansive please

And please want to know price of a Golden Eagle

  • Hello! There is a very good book on keeping birds of prey by Jemima Parry-Jones called training birds of prey that will give you a good over view of the sport including the Golden Eagles. Sadly Golden Eagles certainly are'nt for a begginer in the sport and eagles are VERY EXPENSIVE and hard to get hold of though their is a breeder in Portugal i know of. If you want too know anything else just comment me back or become a member of a falconers club!

    cheers

  • lol

i got a female she is 18 months old and we are doing great with each other i can show her to you if you like

  • hey you

i am a falconer, and the guy you see throwing off the eagle is my boss :)

and a golden eagles price is up to 5000 dollar

  • where did this take place? i would like to join!

  • My guess is in Germany since the info is in German.

Beizjagd 2007 mit Adlern auf Rehe.

    ..translates closely in english to:

Falconry 2007 with eagles on deer.

  • it's like Bambi III - lol

  • wow! like f-15s on a ground strike mission!

  • When birds attack. wow that is cool that they worked together with humans and each otheer to take down deer.

  • It's amazing. Little bird attacks and hunts for roe-deer. This is amazing.

  • AWESOME!!! i did not know an eagle cuold do that!!! when u think of an eagle, u think bird. when u think bird, u think tiny. Does anyone know an actual falconer? i am working on becoming one, and i have a fem questions.

  • @thelamestickdude its been a year since you posted that have you become an aprentice yet? do u have a sponsor? i just found out falconry existed yesterday and now i want to do it sooooooo freakin bad but i live in a stinkin apartment with no space. im only 17 too so its not like i gotta choice

  • The training itsnt to tech them to hunt its to get them to come back thats all.

  • wow, very exciting. Never knew an eagle could catch an old roe

  • that is so badass haha

  • awesome i want to learn how to do this, where can i learn??

  • I'm sure the eagles enjoy it more than the trainer!!

  • Amazing! thank you for sharing!

  • Eagles.

  • these were not deers

  • they are deer . they are called roe deer

  • haha, Asshole!! keep Shooting Your ass, from 10ft.

  • i liked this video :)

    just moved new area 9d

  • lovin this video!! leave me a comment

I NEED SOMEONE TO TALK TO g5

  • that's badass

i need to get into falconry

  • Simply amazing.

  • awesome video. geez, those falcons are fast. What kind are they? They look huge.

  • Golden eagle

  • These are hawks not falcons...

  • The name falconry has nothing to do with the species of bird - it origionated from the use of falcons, but now refers to hunting with any trained bird of prey, including hawks and eagles as well as falcons

  • tak toto je uplny masaker ´=) nadhera...neni k tomu ani co dodat. Hovori to samo za seba...

  • this is really great video,so exciting,really 10+

  • thats not the point any one can shoot takes some real skill to train a bird to hunt for you

  • Soooo great! But....it was canned hunt?

  • you fucking idiot its for fun. and if you use a gun you destroy half the meat. god you stupid fuck.

  • I thought only Harris hawks could hunt in pairs or groups,...Awesome!!!!!!

  • I thought that 2, cool video though

  • its not a good idea to hunt in pairs especially with eagles

  • to addblades1 - they rather seem challenging than teamworking....and they went almost head

    on in attacking the prey.

  • lol dont listen to me i know nothing about falconry lol

  • thats sooo cool!! I want to get a couple of those eagles and use them on all the illegal's here in so.cal.

  • oh and you should stick with 2 in a flying cast. is that a wild bird thats following your eagles? haha

  • there is an exam, a facilities inspection, an equipment inspection, and you need a mentor to teach the hands on aspect of falconry to legally sign all of your paperwork...

but, of course, this is what you have to go through in the USA.

    i don't know about europe.

  • isnt that a blackhawk eagkle in the beggining?

  • fantastic stuff

  • lol i was looking up falconry for runescape :) but that is still really cool

  • Amazing footage. I wish I were there to see it in person.

  • This video is EXTREMELY inspiring. Man i've been thinking lately of taking on falconry, and this video gets me so pumped up to do it. First thing i'm going to buy a book that a lot of ppl recommend to read to help pass the exam. And i work at an Ace Hardware, so i can buy stuff for a mew there. But hey, this video, again, is damn brilliant. Favorited for sure and five stars. Incredible.

  • I went out with a hawking club for the day and they just shit on to each other about fuk all caught nothing as well. The real Falconers tend to keep low profile and the hawk works better that way too.

  • Very niec vid, when ia m 18 gona get a bird, then i will have time and money

  • In Sweden, we drink falcon. It's different.

  • would love to be involved in the sport but like everything in Audtralia it's illegal. I just race my pigeons instead.

    yours sincerely darius charles coles

  • horrible.

  • do u have to be a master falconer to have egales

  • yes

  • In addition to my prior post I want say that these people here in the US wish they were half as good the UK falconers.

  • Oh how I wish the people here in the Northeast part of the US were not so F'n full of themselves when it comes to sponsoring falconry apprentices.I was seeking a sponsor for 15 years and attended several hunts that the falconer club in my area demonstrated and it produced a bunch of ASSHOLES!I was willing to do what I had to along with studying for the test etc. They said,we have to get to know you.Well after 15 years you still dont know me.you will never know me.Falconers in NJ are assholes.

  • As a south Jersian and a hopeful future falconer, I'm really sad to hear that Jersey falconers are generally assholes.

  • Awesome

  • oooh ok ur the "sadistic" one here not the falconers why would they turn on them most love theres birds and the birds only respond to them usually hunting is what raptors do even if mankind isnt involed

  • that is awesome.

  • Right, because eagles wouldn't hunt anything if they weren't trained to.

    Great thinking there, IndianaPublicSchools.

  • whats your problem indianischools?

  • im completely obsessed with falconry and raptors....i also love all kinds of animals..its kills me to say it but...poor little deer

  • Cool! I'd wish I have the money and the time to practice falconry like that

  • the best of falconry!

  • As a master falconer I find this as an incredible example of the highest level of falconry at it's best.

The purest form of raw nature and natural selection.

I am totally amazed....awesome guys, you are truley masters of falconry.

  • Indianaschoolboy, your painting of Falconry, with such a broad stereotypical brush only puts your colossal ignorance on display for all to see. Did you graduate from school? Did you ride the "small bus" to school? If so that would explain your feeble mind!

    5X5 Very nice!

  • Sheesh F**king wusses they dont "peck the eyes out" they sink their talons in the deers flesh also utilizing their beak to break the neck.Furthermore many people eat the deer.Dont you have a Life? honestly you have something better to do than to make stupid comments on someones video tree-huggers?Because truly your not making any difference posting unfounded comments here. By the way all roots of man kind Killed animals Barbarically or not so do a us a favor and shut your traps.

  • dude. beyond awesome

  • are you retarded? they are BORN HUNTERS!

  • i think you missed his point -that the people who hunt deers and enjoy watching animals being killed are slightly sadistic. whether it's natural or not, i can't help agreeing a little. i'm not judging the sport though, prefer to be neutral. anyway, this is not anywhere near the people who eat liver from forcefed geese, refusing to think of where it comes from and not dealing with the cruelty of it themselves.

  • you are just as idiotic as IndianaSchools... it's their natural instinct to HUNT... i guess youd prefer the bird to die.

  • thank you! it's always nice when strangers compliment you. i'll try to make myself even clearer: i wasn't stating my own opinion, i just pointed out that (i believe) whoever i replied to missed the point a little, Indianaschool was complaining on the people, not the eagles. besides, when i say i'm neutral, i really mean i'm neutral. that means i have no opinion. the reason i watched this video is that i just thought: "doesn't falconry seem cool?" and i checked it out. and yes, it was.

  • im sorry i misunderstood you.

i guess it would take a special kind of person to hunt w/ Birds.... maybe an animal/bird lover, and avid hunter??? cheap on ammo lol

  • apology accepted :)

  • Why were animals put on this earth? Although forcefed may be a bit over the top.

  • i don't quite get your point... why were animals put on this earth? :S they weren't. they've evolved slowly during millions of years from the first simple bacteriums, which were the first that could be called forms of life... (i fear you're going to say something like "god gave us the animals to live of and we are their masters". i'm a passionate and faithful atheist, but i don't feel like discussing religion here. anyway, i can't really see what the connection would be to my comment.)

  • Since you brought it up. I am sorry to hear you are an athiest, ill pray for you. When you finally realize(and i hope you do) that you can't fill the emptyness and meaninglessness in your life and have true joy, I hope you accept Christ as your Savior and Maker. Animals have a purpose as we do, some are a good food source some aren't.

    Just a thought...

IF MAN EVOLVED FROM MONKEYS AND APES, WHY DO WE STILL HAVE MONKEYS AND APES? ...

  • "The probability of life originating from accident is comparable to the probability of the Unabridged Dictionary resulting from an explosion in a print shop." -- Albert Einstein

  • now to your question. we as a species evolved from apes. i think most of the species of apes we come from are exctinct, as so many others. not all evolved, why would they disappear?

now, please answer my question: what does it have to do with my comment?

please don't waste your time praying for me, i can assure you i won't appreciate it enough. (and of course, i believe it's a completely useless thing to do) but if it really makes you feel better, than feel free to pray as much as you want.

  • "very unlikely" is not the same as "impossible". in fact, with an almost infinite number of explosions it would be against the logic that there would never be an exception. and logic is after all what einstein's quotation is based on.

as for my personal happiness, i am sure you can find inner peace, harmony and happiness through whatever you believe. you have found something that gives your life a meaning and so have i. and we are both convinced our own way is the one and only true one.

  • praying does a lot of help . also quit making excuses just so u can be right .also why when humans have babies why arnt the apes or monkeys.

  • god is a chump.. so are you.. falconry rules..

  • I've a simple question. If humans evolved, then why is the world filled with stupid people. And don't tell me "because society allows it". Animals form groups, but so far, humans are the only ones with a majority of stupid members.

Anyway... I don't see the logic of using a bird to kill a deer in an area like they show without a fence. The deer would most likely head to the woods and escape. I would prefer to use hawks to hunt rabbits in the woods or something. Thats what I plan on using.

  • pretty cool...amazing a bird can take down an animal that size

  • truely amazing!!!!

  • This is NATURES ways .....

You Do eat meat to I think ^^

  • I am an ex-falconer and I know exactly what I am talking about.

  • Go bambi

  • This is awesome!

  • this is a sport, this is legal, the prey is completely able to scape, the falconer is not using any kind of weapon nor method to kill it except by the eagle who IS hungry and WANT to kill that deer to eat, the eagle is not trained to kill, she is trained to know WHEN she MAY kill.

  • RUBBISH !

  • thats a load of bollox no sport in that then again I suppose some people actually like that shit. I don,t think the composer of the music got his insperation watching 2 eagles and 3 blokes killing that first dear. really nice alright

  • if you dont like the way nature works then you should kill yourself, killing and dying is part of the life, we are part of this life, so you should not fell shame when some animal dies to serve as food for the eagles during a hunt (the animal is not killed just do be killed, he is used as food for the falcons, kestrels and eagles which killed it during the hunt)

  • Sorry but I did not see any Kestrels in that clip! also Kestrels live on a diet of moles voles mice etc. In order for a Austringer to get his or her eagle to take/attack deer the eagle's body wait has to be reduced hard. These eagles if free would look for hares the occasional baby deer. An eagle in the wild runs the risk of getting injured in the struggle with a deer, hence all the blokes running in to aide in the kill here in this clip. No help for a wild eagle, injury = death,Nature

  • ow, now a mice's life is less important then the life of a deer... interesting, i will no more argue with people this low, sorry, god bye

  • Looks like the deer are fenced out of the cover. I think if the deer make it into the woods and beat the eagle fairly they should get to live, but I guess that's not what this is about for the "hunters."

Looks like a canned hunt to me.

  • Nice! Awesome! That is really cool! That was sweat when the eagle just took down that deer while it was running. I am suprised that eagle was fast enough. Tricked me! those eagles are BIG if you compare them to the deer. Nice hunting. That was Ballin'

  • super hunting and super finish

  • great stuff may be they could start flying eagles at some of the yobs that hang round our streets save on police wages and unlike our coppers the dont mess about

  • By any chance do you live in Britain? We can test the method of Falconry induced good behaviour on the occupants of The Houses Of Parliament, before using various species of raptors on the street to get rid of all the scum.

  • I use to hunt with eagles and we use to take a lot of deer and some elk it was thrilling.

The first hunt with them they just came to me hanging on a clift after killing some people the eagles did not like one pick me up flew me across the canyon drop me about 20 feet on a deer broke its spine me & 5 eagles ate venison I was about 6 months old at the time.

  • If eagles could talk...

A: "Hey, I got it! Stay back I'll handle this." (:30)

B: "You got it? Yeah, right! You lost it! Let me take care of this." (:35)

  • A: "You idiot, you're letting it get away! Enough of this, I'm stopping this thing right now." (:40)

B: "Aren't you getting a bit tired? Here, allow me..." (:55)

A: "Talons off, bird brain!" (1:00)

C: "What you two doing down there?" (1:01)

  • Replies aren't working right... feel free to delete this message.

  • Okay that was pretty cool, thought those were rabbits at first, lol size and distance really are decieving, haha
