I got mad respect of these guys but some of the things that were said are just not true. They are good but not the best at what they do and a lot of athletes are in equal or batter shape.

@Backergod Seriously......it takes more than athletisism to do these missions these guys do. It takes a mindset above and beyond what most people can even comprehend. There are no time outs and it is not a game. The only thing you will lose is your life or that of your buddy next to you. I doubt seriously that there are alot of athletes that could do what these guys do.

I have heard on documentaries and even in books that football and basketball players are usually the first ones to flunk out. That really surprised me actually. I think they target athletes because they're at least already active compared to someone who barely works out. But then again, take someone who has shot guns their entire life and you have the same situation vice-versa.
It's all starts mentally, and then ends physically if that makes any sense.

I was at the private screening. It is not a movie. It is a tribute and it is a propaganda as if it is a religion. The "actors" are excellent because they are the real guys! There are a lot of humors and emotions. There are so many mistakes and bullshits. You will know if when you watch it. It was just a popcorn time.
A SEAL got shot in the eye, then coma kicked in. He woke up on the way to extraction rally point then shouted WHAAAAT DAAA FUUUUUUUCK!. Kinda funny, but bull shit.
On the way to extraction point, their pick up got shot at. A SEAL took cover in the truck bed. The enemy AK rounds can't shoot through the truck bed door!!!!! Bulllllll
A SEAL got a direct hit by a RPG in the chest when they were trying to clear a room. The warhead didn't go off. Let's say the warhead didn't arm itself yet cuz the enemy fired it in a very close range in the same room (WTF?? The back blast from the RPG would have badly injured all of them)! Here comes the best bullshit part, the SEAL who got hit just pulled the warhead out of his vest and said, oh I better put this somewhere safe.. WTF!
The RPG round weighs about 5-10 pounds and travels about 257 miles/hour !!! Just the shear impact would have sever his neck bones. He should have been like the rocket man in movie The Rock (1996). People get knocked out of wind even just by a human punch. He walks away 4 seconds after being hit by a 10 pound dumb bell that travels faster than a jet that is taking off. WHAAT THEEE FUCK??
You will notice that through out of the movie, all their holographic sighs are out of battery. Or all the SEALs forgot to turn on their sights???? Let's say that they indeed forgot about it (Troll face). Can't they notice their sights are off when they shoooot???
SEALs grenades are like JDAM missiles. A single grenade can wipe off a whole building. But the enemy grenade can't even kill a guy who use his own chest to cover the grenade so that his bros can be saved!!
At the end, one enemy emptied a whole magazine of a AK on a SEAL. Yes, the SEAL indeed got hit cuz you can see dusts and fabric of his vest are popping off like Chinese fireworks. You know what? He reloaded is M9 pistol and shot one or two bad guys.. WHAaaaT DAAA Fuck???
In conclusion, ALL SEALs are Chuck Norris. There are indeed good stuff: the love between SEALs and their family, the brotherhood among the SEALs and such.

The navy and marines are good branches, but when it goes to special forces and not basic inf, give props to delta force. only the best of the best can get in. its made up of 3 of the 4 main branches (army,USMC,navy) & you can only be invited in, the only prob that i THINK is that delta operators belong under the army. other wise if i were to choose a branch for spec ops join the army due to the many groups such as green berets & delta operators, if you want something basic join marines/or seals

@tmx51 ok sir but i know former hardcore athletes who whent throught navy seal training and didn't even made past the first week. its is not just physical it's also mental you need to have a strong mind in order to make it throught and that what tthey mean better than an athletes because their state of mind needs beyond of what they should be example complete the task at all cost even if it means dying while trying i don't think an athlete thinks that way

@tmx51 You're right, we send these guys on the toughest missions and put them throught the toughest training to be kinda "good" at that they do. And I know lots of athletes who can be dropped into any environment in the world, traverse the terrain, execute a target, and get out while carrying hundreds of pounds of gear. Tard.

Aside from that ranking doesn't mean anything because they are all good and like you said its ridiculous calling one of them the best. @Backergod Seriously......it takes more than athletisism to do these missions these guys do. It takes a mindset above and beyond what most people can even comprehend. There are no time outs and it is not a game. The only thing you will lose is your life or that of your buddy next to you. I doubt seriously that there are alot of athletes that could do what these guys do.

I have heard on documentaries and even in books that football and basketball players are usually the first ones to flunk out. That really surprised me actually. I think they target athletes because they're at least already active compared to someone who barely works out. But then again, take someone who has shot guns their entire life and you have the same situation vice-versa.
It's all starts mentally, and then ends physically if that makes any sense.

With Navy SEALs portraying other Navy SEALs, it just makes these movies so much better. These SEALs wouldn't need to act since it's just part of their "everyday" life...

I was at the private screening. It is not a movie. It is a tribute and it is a propaganda as if it is a religion. The "actors" are excellent because they are the real guys! There are a lot of humors and emotions. There are so many mistakes and bullshits. You will know if when you watch it. It was just a popcorn time.

A SEAL got shot in the eye, then coma kicked in. He woke up on the way to extraction rally point then shouted WHAAAAT DAAA FUUUUUUUCK!. Kinda funny, but bull shit.
On the way to extraction point, their pick up got shot at. A SEAL took cover in the truck bed. The enemy AK rounds can't shoot through the truck bed door!!!!! Bulllllll

A SEAL got a direct hit by a RPG in the chest when they were trying to clear a room. The warhead didn't go off. Let's say the warhead didn't arm itself yet cuz the enemy fired it in a very close range in the same room (WTF?? The back blast from the RPG would have badly injured all of them)! Here comes the best bullshit part, the SEAL who got hit just pulled the warhead out of his vest and said, oh I better put this somewhere safe.. WTF!

The RPG round weighs about 5-10 pounds and travels about 257 miles/hour !!! Just the shear impact would have sever his neck bones. He should have been like the rocket man in movie The Rock (1996). People get knocked out of wind even just by a human punch. He walks away 4 seconds after being hit by a 10 pound dumb bell that travels faster than a jet that is taking off. WHAAT THEEE FUCK??

You will notice that through out of the movie, all their holographic sighs are out of battery. Or all the SEALs forgot to turn on their sights???? Let's say that they indeed forgot about it (Troll face). Can't they notice their sights are off when they shoooot???
SEALs grenades are like JDAM missiles. A single grenade can wipe off a whole building. But the enemy grenade can't even kill a guy who use his own chest to cover the grenade so that his bros can be saved!!

At the end, one enemy emptied a whole magazine of a AK on a SEAL. Yes, the SEAL indeed got hit cuz you can see dusts and fabric of his vest are popping off like Chinese fireworks. You know what? He reloaded is M9 pistol and shot one or two bad guys.. WHAaaaT DAAA Fuck???
In conclusion, ALL SEALs are Chuck Norris. There are indeed good stuff: the love between SEALs and their family, the brotherhood among the SEALs and such.

Every time I think of all the things we are doing to glorify the SEALs (and rightfully so) I wonder "Why don't we do this with other highly-classified operators like Delta Force?", but the I remember: Delta is beyond classified. They don't "exist." The only reason the general public knows about Delta Force is because of Somalia. Now I'm not bashing the SEALs because if I did I'd be afraid of mysteriously "disappearing". The navy and marines are good branches, but when it goes to special forces and not basic inf, give props to delta force. only the best of the best can get in. its made up of 3 of the 4 main branches (army,USMC,navy) & you can only be invited in, the only prob that i THINK is that delta operators belong under the army. other wise if i were to choose a branch for spec ops join the army due to the many groups such as green berets & delta operators, if you want something basic join marines/or seals
