I love this song so much. Personally, to me, it's a love song between Jesus and mankind. We endure a love flawed by darkness and doubt, by the terrors of the world (not unlike Romeo and Juliet), but someday there will be peace and love without limit. "Romeo and Juliet" will succeed in the end.

That can encompass God and his creation, this world that has been so ravaged by misusing hands. Human beings have done great things, but our hands have hurt this world as well. Someday love will triumph.
