  • i can't understand a word they are saying

  • "In the nights she isn't with me I am deformed."

  • Ben Kingsley is a versatile actor , but he seems to play old as cold and grey ! Penelope Cruz is showing how talented she is - of course , she has just won an Oscar for Vicky Cristina Barcelona by Woody Allen !

  • She didn't deserve an Oscar.

  • The film is panned here but Lorenzo is so animated as he launches his set up of the seduction in this film. We're so lucky to have the American writer, Philip Roth and these talented international actors taking on his ideas. The biggest thing for me is that the film totally switched the ending. Roth has a great ending showing the selfish hipster discarding the young Cuban when she gets terminally ill; the feminist director tags on there reunion on the beach. Wow!

  • I did like Hopper's self delusion. He said he was Horatio to Kingsley's Hamlet when he was really Iago to his Othello.

  • you guys are awsome!

  • I truly enjoyed this review! I wanted to rent this movie and had high expectations, but after watching your review I am now not so eager to run to the nearest Blockbuster. I may still rent it because I'm curious. This was my first time watching your videos, I will now watch some others...

  • Your review of Elegy was right on. Having started my legal career at 4StarTV, I saw many fine works contributed by Mr. Semple and have always respected his talent and works. The reviews the two of you give are insightful and valid. I remember seeing Sir Kingsley in "Sexy Beast" and thought the casting director was crazy. Sir Ben will always be M.Ghandi, no matter what role he portrays.

  • I wasn't aware of this movie's existence >.>

  • Philip Roth's "The Dying Animal" is a favorite of mine. I've read it three times now. It's difficult to imagine it being translated into a film that does it justice. I think I'll have to check it out, regardless. I love your reviews!

  • God, I love you guys, so fucking cool, hope I'm like this when I'm "old" haha!

  • I love you guys!

"He is a big sissy" LMAO

After Sexy Beast I find it hard to imagine Ben Kingsley as being sissy but I'll have to watch the movie first.

BTW, it took time but I'm totally over your Dark Knight review... But seriously... You didn't like it? But why? It was a masterpiece :o)

  • "DK" was a pretty terrible flick, IMO. 2Face refuses to kill the person responsible for his losses yet goes after an innocent man? The Joker intentionally got caught and fed a guy a bomb in order to escape? How did he take over the mobs when no one else could & have the power to set all of those bombs in the hospital? The terrorism/civil liberties parable was heavy-handed. It was like watching a cartoon with logic completely thrown out the window.

  • its a comic book film!! there yeah go!! not much logic when yeah have a guy jumping off roof tops in a bat suit!! lol

  • Comic books can be intelligent, too.

  • I haven't even HEARD of this one yet... is it wide or limited? None of the theaters near me play limited releases.

  • please review Mummy Tomb of the Dragon Emporer, and Death Race.. these are popcorn movies that people want to see, nobody will watch Elegy.

  • I have a Mummy 3 review for you: It is fucking horrible.

  • i still want to hear what these geezers think of them. Always interesting to hear an older person's view on big popcorn movies. If it isn't too late, I hope these two review those two movies I mentioned. I know Mummy has been out for a long time and Death Race was ignored by most people though.
