  • Great Comment! Thanks!

  • You seem rational. Research socialism. Escape from liberalism ("conservative" and "liberal" liberalism).

  • great post; breaking the stereotype on youtube. thanks

  • Thank you.

  • Democrat and Republican parties are they same. Their leaders obey they same masters. Look up Skull and Bones. voting is an illusion meant to pacify the peasants. I fear that the cancer of corruption is so deep in our politics that removing it would likely kill the patient, then again 80% of us are scheduled for population reduction anyways.

  • You wouldn't have a copy of that reduction list, would you? lol. Thanks for your comment. I don't think of myself as a peasant, but I could be in denial...

  • And your master is Alex Jones! I find conspiracy theories exciting too. But if you step back for a second and analyze what Alex Jones really does... it's scary how many connections he just creates himself. There's definitely some messed up shit that goes on behind the scenes... but don't just blindly believe what he says.

  • you prove wrong the stereotype . Nice.

  • Thanks!

  • Thanks for your support of Keith coloradoz06

  • No problem. Thanks for the comment.

  • Stay in a country fighting a war you won't EVER win, vote Republican.

At least get some fresh perspective on it, vote Democrat.

And don't tell me now that Rumsfeld is gone it's gonna get any better.

  • We have to stay on them...

  • Thank you for your contribution, coloradoz06.

  • Thanks.

  • He sure showed his passion for the truth.

  • Thanks.

  • Rednecks must spread the word! Yeehaw

  • Thanks.

  • It's nice to hear a guy with a southern accent be articulate and say things like... gasp... critical thinking. You brightened my day dude.

  • Thanks.

  • Bravo. touching tribute.

  • Thanks.

  • Wow. Keith getting praised by Charles Bronson. Fantastic!

  • Ladies and gentlemen the talaban would like to introduce their new spokesman, Keith Olbermann.

Keep the money you earn, vote Republican

Give your money to those who don't earn it, vote Democrat. You decide.

  • That sounds like the simple thoughts of someone who got their Republican talking points from right wing radio talking heads who lie to their listeners on a regular basis.

  • BOOYAH!! Listen to the man! There it is right there, you right wing fuckjobs! Just keep on preachin' memorized catch phrases. Yeah, that'll keep you in power on November 7th...oh wait...NO IT WON'T...IT'S TOO LATE, CONS!! lol

  • Does it... Does it count as "keeping" money if you have to pay it back for a multi-billion dollar war you're defecit spending to keep going, when it was supposed to be paying for itself? Is that how this works?

  • I want to give my money for the good of the common good. I don't want to win, I just want everyone to be taken care of. I gladly pay my taxes unless they go to a dirty war such as this one (or any war) and I wish I was taxed more for a more fair society.

  • There are better reasons to vote than your wallet. I think most Americans right now are feeling like they'd pay a couple of extra bucks for a semi-competent government.

  • well what do you have to say for yourself now? the people voted, and they voted Democrat, and the talaban's spokesman is Bush, after all, he's the one that made it possible for them to set up shop in Iraq...they were not there until after the US invaded, and it's been proven by the CIA...

  • moron

  • you're big time!

  • Same here, I am amazed at how well Mr. Olbermann puts together everything with such ironclad logic. -- Good video man :)

  • Thanks.

  • amen!

  • we are like minded. :-)

  • Cool...

  • get a room cupcake.

  • Well said.

  • Thanks.

  • Thanks for your video. After I saw the movie "Good Night & Good Luck", the Edward R. Murrow story, I wondered if some journalist would finally be inspired to step up to the plate. Olbermann is clearly the one.

The bitter rift between right and left, as seen in the political comments all over YouTube is disturbing. The president gets most of the "credit" for creating the atmosphere of intolerance for the opposing view.

  • Glad to post it. Keith is great.

  • Thanks for your comment.

  • Makes you wonder what happened to "change the tone". That one died a quiet death, it seems.

  • Great tribute to a great reporter.

  • Thanks.

  • Great commentary.

  • Thanks.

  • Olbermann is a nut-job pure and simple. That was nothing but pure hate speech and vilification. MSNBC should be ashamed of themselves for airing such extremist propaganda.

  • I'll admit, the I had a hard time taking his points seriously because of his unprofessional manner. I'm not a fan either. I'll take Bill O'Reilly any day of the week.

  • Bill O? You mean the guy that writes soft porn? Or the guy that claims he is a combat veteran, without telling people he was a journalist in El Salvador and witnessed a couple of firefights, without EVER serving in uniform.

  • hey don't knock soft porn! LOL

  • Bill O'reilly has never claimed to have served in uniform and has stated on his show numerous times that he was a journalist in El Salvador.

You O'Reilly-haters just don't give up do you?

  • I have the clip where he inferred he had been in combat. I don't claim to have been on the moon because I sit on my ass.

  • How can a commentary, not a news report (You don't know the difference? Ah! That's right! You watch Bill O'Reilly!) be unprofessional? Did he sputter? Did he splutter? Did he not look at the camera? Was he drunk? Oh, you mean he was sincere and sincerely angry and disgusted with the current administration and their hacks?

We should ahve so many "unprofessional" people in the media...

  • Unlike Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity's accurate portrayal of the facts. We are all entitled to our own opinions, but not to our own facts. Bill and Sean seem to forget about facts or make up their own.

  • Try watching O'Rielly sometime, I wanted to puke by the end of his propogandic show... Olbermann on the other hand is telling it like it IS! O'Reilly claims on his program that "The Spin stops here!" This is obviously not the case. Bush IS and HAS BEEN from day one of his political career one of the greatest dangers to humanity EVER! Hitler would have been a happy man if Bush had been president in his lifetime.

  • Talk about drinkin' the kool-ade.

  • Hitler would have had a hard time with Bush.. he doesn't believe you fight a war against a vicious enemy by cutting and running, but he would have loved the current doctors who kill unborn children for money and even kill partially born children for money.

  • Wow...just keep quoting your messiah (cutting and running...lol...pathetic) and then 'cunningly' (lol) switch over to another distraction topic like abortion. not even related, numbnuts.

  • Uh... what?!

  • He speaks the truth, but you do not want to hear it.

  • OK, Dumbya.

    How ironic.

  • I find it interesting that just about every negative Olbermann comment is an ad hominem attack on the man. Not a single one of the anti-Olbermann posters addressed the contents of his speech!

If you are equating his passionate remarks to "hate speech" you really need vagisil for the mind. This isn't about party lines, it's about truth vs lies. You can't even see that you are supporting a treasonous government can you? You sir are the one who should be ashamed of himself.

  • The truth is we are at war. Mistakes are made in every war, but never has one side refused to even acknowledge the war.Our enemy has said he will convert us or kill us. Dems have to care more about safty of USA than lost elections. Quit pouting and help war effort. The enemy is the terrorists not Bush, and not those who support defending USA.

  • War? Convert us or kill us? You are seriously deluded. I suppose its either us or them, right? You seriously need to develop some critical thinking skills.

  • not deluded..just smart enough to listen to enemy speaking instead of you saying what you think they mean. Stop trying to think and listen for a change.

  • I am so tired of the sheep minded right wingers disregarding dissent as crazy propaganda. Spewing regurgitated catch phrases and idiotic ideals. I think the only people using hate speech are those disinclined to listen to dissent out of fear that the other side may be right. (correct)

  • and where is it you get your news? Hate and vilification? Extremist propaganda? Sounds like you must watch a lot of Fox: they pretty much have the corner market on hate, vilification and extremist propaganda.

  • LOL i hate to hear what you preach.

  • Another great commentary, yourself, my friend. I have a buddy who has started a 'Thank You Keith Olbermann' site. I will pass on your video to him.

  • Cool. Send me his site url when you have a chance.

  • Just watched the Olbermann commentary. I'm not a Olbermann fan, I never watch him (I watch FOX News), but I have to admit, he had some good points here. Thanks for your commentary as well.

  • Whenever you're ready, we'll welcome you back from the dark side Russ... lol. Thanks for the comment. Looks like your latest vlog is doing very well. Congrats!

  • LOL Thanks Tony. I almost didn't admit to watching FOX, but figured, what the hell...

  • Russ is a good guy. He's a little misguided, but a decent fellow. Must be something in the water he's drinking. I believe they call it koolaid.

  • Well where would this country be without apposing opinions? I find FOX to be right on the money most of the time. <Takes a sip of Kool-Aid>

CNN, MSNBC and those other channels are all fair and honest right? lol

  • You mean the Clinton News Network and the others have a left wing bias? I never would have guessed.

  • Oh yes, Olbermann's words are indeed as heavy as they can possibly be... they're just big rocks, hitting the ground - one by one - with a rumbling sound.

Too bad he's about the only one to be able to do that.

  • We just need to spread the word and get folks listening to him. Thanks for the comment, Tony.

  • Well said. I agree too. Olberman is on a tear. The truth is his weapon.

I studied Murrow in college. He was slow to be roused from his routine, in fact. He only capped what other journalists had dug up. Olberman, in some ways, exceeds him.

  • I'd love to see more of Murrow.

  • I realize, in my brevity, I may have understated Murrow's achievement.

Above all, he was a credible and moral journalist. When finally roused, he delivered a broadcast, unsurpassed to this day, which nailed that power-mad bastard to Murrow's trophy wall and ended McCarthy's career for good. There is no finer example in broadcast journalism of the proper role of the press in a democracy. Would that all the rest would heed the lesson.

  • He also worked in a very different atmosphere. As I was writing that sentence, I realized it was actually a very similar time. Powerful leaders using fear to rob citizens of their constitutional rights...

  • Oh yeah. The soviets were getting the bomb. Tensions were high. Fear mongerers were having a field day. Kids were being told to "duck and cover" under their school desks during drills against nuclear war. They wanted to hang people. It was an ugly moment, as ugly as this one.

  • yes.

and mightily glad to have Olbermann [a 'straight', viz., 'serious'] journalist to go with Stewart and Colbert in representing the truth.

God! What will it TAKE to rid us of these REpublicanFascists?

  • I agree with you! In addition I think Keith should be one of the key voices we designate as party rep for the next couple elections. I wonder if he's been approached for any such position... hmmm

  • He'd be good.
