  • Spring is coming ;-), This'll be a long hot summer for Bloomberg.

  • Hey Hey Hey calm down there , i'll slap him if I "ever" see him for you... just come for legal backup lolsz

  • Agreed. The boycott's are working.

    Bp oil

    Exxon

    B of A

    Fox News

    Wisconsin cheese and travel

    Netflix

    The GOP

  • Love this guy! Love the young Turks! Keep you the good work! Vote Ron Paul in Primaries! And god be with the men and women of OWS!

  • What is capitalism? It seems to have different meanings for different classes of people. To me, it's the ideal of a level and uninfluenced playing field for all businesses, both small and large, to compete upon.

To others, it's the present reality of government tax breaks, bailouts, lobbyists, and political contributions that seems to always favor consolidation. And might I add, inevitably falls upon the backs of the tax payers.

There is a distinction between capitalism and manipulation.

  • It was for protection alright, and it wasn't for the media press but from them.

  • WOW.....Who'd of thunk it, Orwell was right! I should have paid more attention to him in school.

  • @mchlawilliams

never too late to wake up

  • I bet Fox News Reporters can go in, as they share his way of thinking.

  • When are the next New York mayoral elections?

  • The 1% are jealous of China's power over the people.

  • Even if they were "protecting" the press, that would be like the US government banning all press from war zones. The government doesn't have the right to "protect" the press. The press has the right to cover stories.

  • Bloomberg now, Bloomberg tomorra', Bloomberg forever!

  • I hope that local unions in New York inform their members who are a part of Occupy Wallstreet to start buying from small businesses so they don't get crushed from the protesting. Most small businesses aren't part of the problems created by Wall Street.

  • @coltor9 I've been boycotting ExxonMobil since I don't know when, and BP for the past 18 months. It can work if enough people get together on it. Borders and Circuit City (unfortunately) went out of business through no fault of their own, Netflix changed their business plan, you think bigger companies can't go out of business due to a concerted effort by the public? Think again.

  • The comparison to Honduras was stupid. Central America had death squads that found your family and murdered them, then hanged the decapitated heads on sticks. Occupy Wall Street protesters are just getting a good old ass whoopin'. Different situation. One was an actual fascist state. The other is just a strict state.

  • @DeepSouth16 Well, conservatives like to think they are logical... except they hold everyone in the fucking dark ages compared to the rest of the world... let me clarify "concervative old white people" my mistake... Those old bigots are the same ones who tried to keep blacks down in society.

  • Police + Wall St = 8====D Heads

  • they really need to fix the subtitles, according to this: Zucotti Park was SHOT down

  • @DeepSouth16 race card? old white people are prejudiced sad people who cant get enough of their fake religion and like to shove it down everyones throats.

  • Everyone should Sue the city and the police!

  • The law enforcement has screwed over the people so long, that all their police stations and courthouses are built like Fort Knox Ky because they are so scared of the public that they had to have a fort to stay in. If you walk into a police station & stomp your feet they will piss over their self. They have killed & hurt so many people that they know payback is coming. They will not walk in the street without body armor now. They are cowards.Police will kill children to keep their jobs

  • I have a stong feeling you don't know what "Media Blackout" or "Police State" is.

  • America land of the slaves

  • A camera man from New zealand got arrested for filming the occupy movement so the reporter picked it up and filmed him getting arrested

  • The ONLY reason for a News Blackout in a case like this is to hide to hide violations of the law by "law enforcement" officials. If they are doing their jobs to Serve and Protect, they would be happy to have their honorable actions recorded and broadcast. There are several scriptures about that Jn3:19, etc. SO, good cops, Please protect the honor of your profession and work FOR the people IN the light for all to see the GOOD deeds you do.

  • "I, John Brown, am now quite certain that the crimes of this guilty land can never be purged away but with blood. I had as I now think, vainly flattered myself that without very much bloodshed, it might be done."

Crazy as he was, his words are as true today as they were in 1860. It will come to violence or things will remain as they are. See where the peaceful protests have gotten the Occupiers.

  • Do not protect if they don't want protection.

  • WE NEED TO WRIGHT A LETTER TO THE UN ASKING THEM TO CHANGE AMERICAS STATUS AS A DEMOCRACY TO A DICTATORSHIP AND HAVE THEM STOPPED FROM ANY ARMED CONFLICT AROUND THE WORLD OR THEY WILL HAVE WORLD WIDE SANCTIONS PLACED ON THEM

  • PROPOSED NEW FIRST AMENDMENT

There shall be no abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances UNLESS IN A PARK SUPPOSEDLY OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

  • Corporate fascism gone wild!

  • we can argue about the police kicking out the occupiers and making all these arrests, but not allowing the press access to a public space and not even allowing them to fly overhead and film is egregious. What the fuck is this country coming to

  • @crayyawn Damn fucking right.

  • @crayyawn REVOLUTION, thats what its coming to. Well, that and the biggest overthrow in world history.

  • @people4peace2011

Unfortunately I don't think those in power will hand up lightly. Tragedies will strike and inevitably be covered up in some way. Sometimes, in order to see a better day, you have to go through a storm. That can't be more true in this situation. Those against the movement are against freedom and justice, or simply haven't taken the time to educate themselves enough ABOUT the movement itself.

  • No matter how bad things get in life, I just look back at when Fox news was occupied, shut down and O,reilly got egged, smile and wave boys, smile and wave.

  • @DeepSouth16 What did the Tea party protest against? spending? where were they during the Bush years? The tea party only follows what Faux news says.... sarah palin, rush limbaugh, glenn beck.. what a fucking JOKE. Tea party is a bunch of uneducated white old people.

  • @janses08

"Tea party is a bunch of uneducated white old people."

and who pay income taxes unlike many in the OWS who are deadbeats

  • @genie0390 pay income taxes, oh they are saints..... real patriotic of them to help pay for some things, im so impressed....

  • @janses08

you sound like a violent anarchist so who should give a flying fuck if you're impressed or not?

  • @genie0390 yep your right im a violent anarchist, glad you figured it out

  • The Tea Party movement is a movement of political prostitutes and Wall Street is the Tea Party's John.

Isn't there a ommunity standard on obscenity? Shouldn't the police go undercover as lobbyists and arrest the tea party prostitution ring.

What happened in Penn State's shower is bad enough, but what's shocking is what goes on between Wall Street and the Tea Party and together they will soak the nation against the nation's consent.

  • The National monthly boycotts are coming next. One corporation a month.

I would start with FOX and all the products it advertises. The corporate whores only understand one thing. MONEY.

  • @coltor9 I boycott FOX and it's partners this month and every month until I die.

  • @soundslave I have boycotted Fox, also. They are not journalists at all. Even Hitler, had his own propaganda machine.

  • @coltor9 We need to mass boycott any corporation who fail to have good business ethics. As alternatives to products and services, we should do business with small companies and co-ops. I think co-ops (companies run by the employees w/ profits going to employees) are the answer. It seems as if really bad things happen when too much money gets into the hands of a very greedy 1%.

  • @DeepSouth16 *clap* good troll

  • @DeepSouth16 Are you fucking for real right now buddy, Either your a Selfish, Unloved, Greedy, Bloodthirsty capitalist pig, Or your father is. Good day to you sir and hopefully you will live to see past the dollar.

  • @shrector123. Anyone with the username DeepSouth anything shouldn't be taken seriously.

  • @shrector123

oh you fuckin hypocrite, you feel the dollar is not important?? but you want to tax the rich and get to spend some of their dollars?

  • @genie0390 its about equality not money. and everyone payes tax even if they have no job, read a book

  • @fuzzynostic

so if it's about equality why don't all Americans share equally paying what our government spends?

no, it's all about class warfare! there are more poor than rich so the Dems have calculated that by offering the poor money from the rich they will be elected. That's how the Dems have built their base

however, the chickens are coming home to roost, America is going bankrupt at this rate. The rotten game plan will need to be revised

  • @fuzzynostic JUST WONDERRING; HOW DO YOU PAY TAXES WITHOUT A JOB?

  • Land of the free ... poetry.

  • im centered left on a lot of issues. however the left is playing the victim card when they are not victims at all. these occupy wallstreet protest started out peaceful and organized. now they have turned into a mess.

  • Really need to sue these people.

  • The media is the LAST group you want to mess with. They will mess with you - and everyone who watches them will too.

  • @BaseballPie Not the MSM, they'll ask you not to rape them so violently next time. Internet media however...

  • OH WOW did you hear that Hu Jintao of China, Ahmadinijad of Iran and The Syrian Government who shot and killed a 9 year old..girl

Next time you deny access to the media use the Bloomberg excuse

we had to protect the Press. !!

  • and these guys in the media/govt are actually complaining about Syria.

  • I remember even as little as five years ago countless people were trying to alert American citizens that we were gradually morphing into a police state. I also remember how those very same people were mocked and called "conspiracy nuts" and "fruit cakes" who wore tinfoil hats, etc. Now, since their constant warnings feel on the deaf ears of a sheepish and complacent public, look where it's gotten us...

Had we listened when there was still time, we could have turned this whole thing around.

  • Bloomberg is a softie compared to the thugs that run Honduras today.

  • The Young Turks need to team up with Alex Jones Channel On Here, he has been talking about the EXACT same things like this! Hello POLICE STATE! It'll get a LOT LOT LOT worse if we don't attempt to change them, as they sure won't change themselves!

  • "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible makes violent revolution inevitable." -JFK

  • @fastpulses JFK, the guy who got shot? Yeah, it works both ways...

  • RESPECT EXISTENCE OR EXPECT RESISTANCE

  • you tube fuck your market adz i will not watch them

  • this country is slowly going into a police state we are all fucked unless people wake up and fight the fatcats

  • Comment removed

  • @drybone12 Freedom of speech began in 1776. Ok, thanks for that. Idiot.

  • "Come see the violence inherent in the system!"- monty python

  • Democracy? Whats Democracy? Does it hurt?

    Oh, hmm. Yup.

  • If there is anybody at OWS reading this, show the Cops the constitution and show them the middle finger

  • When OWS’s sticks to holding banks accountable that resounds with most of Americans such as illegal foreclosures, screwy mortgages, and bad decisions that have left us broke.

  • @RubenHoyos82 Wow, you've made it waaaaaayyyyy too obvious that you're a right-wing douche.

  • @sexychrisb Only that I actually don't believe what I wrote. I'm actually was playing the devil's advocate. I actually support OWS 100%. I'm just trying how to respond to conservatives in a coherent way.

  • @sexychrisb Oh Sexy Chris, I'm actually a hard-core liberal. I have conservative friends and I need to find a way to challenge them so that is why I posted that so I can counter-argue those stupid talking points that they get from stupid Fox News.

  • Afterwards, OWS start camping and start "organizing" and doing meetings with their jazz hands and start advocating every cause under the sun. Then labor unions start joining in and pretty soon, the anarchists show up. Finally, they realize that they need to raise money and then they start splintering a bit. Then come the reports - the camps are illegal, filthy, and starting to fill up with drugs and crime, which is absolutely true.

  • As they have been cleared out, it has become less and less about the banking system and economics, its more and more failed revolutionary language. OWS talking about income inequality is a code word for income redistribution and taking away from people that are successful.

  • According to OWS, you and I have no right to the resources we have or consume; they should belong to everyone and be shared by everyone. These people are ardent socialists bordering on communists then every hard working family in Mid-America gives up on listening to them. How can a kid who went to art school relate to a auto mechanic who is trying to support his two kids and has lost his home?

  • @RubenHoyos82 there's been absolutely no rhetoric coming from the OWS movement saying any of those things. That's almost verbatim Fox News' corporately funded propaganda.

  • @smokydave Actually that's was my point. I want to counter these stupid talking points from Fox News. Actually I have several conservative friends that have posted things on facebook regarding OWS. I support OWS 100%. I think what they're doing is great and about time. The rich have gotten away with murder.

  • @RubenHoyos82 According to OWS uh? Just pull shit fresh from your ass or vomit what the news media feeds you. It fits you.

  • @Chubearishere "You just got punk'd!" I actually don't believe in that right-wing rhetoric. I just wanted to play devils advocate in this forum. I'm a hard-core progressive and support OWS to the core. But I also have conservative friends and I want to bring them my point clearly to them but don't know how.

  • @Chubearishere I hope you weren't offended.

  • So long as nobody dies under a media blackout any action taken by the police on a peaceful protest is justified. What a depressing precedent to set.

  • Freedom of the press now gone too? Is there any part of the constitution conservatives will not wipe their asses on?

  • is this america? im not sure anymore and that's sad

  • In the old days the Nazis were the British and the people got together and threw there product overboard the brits Lost money .to kill the snake you have to starve in the snake is wall street cut of all supply of money boy cot. Big industry WALL Mark Sams club, Destroy there ability to make money. confiscate their assets and turn them into homeless people

  • This reality sucks but as one Beach Bum old Hippy once told me stopping it is like trying to stop a wave from hitting the beach. It can be done but not alone

  • IT'S HARD TO ARREST THE WHOLE COUNTRY . FIGHT THESE BASTARDS SOMEWHERE ALONG THE WAY THE THIEFS FORGOT WE THE PEOPLE!

  • This... is worse than a horror movie

  • To file paper work involving mass murder but never killed anyone personaly but approved the papers Kinda like working For DCF and child support Our Social Security , You work for the nazis but don't consider. that you are just a link in a chain Like the guard at Auschwitz He's just doing his job. wait till banker get laid off that will be funny and it's coming trust me

  • What can you do? though technology they are untouchable Like hitler the german people tried to bring down the Nazi State but were suppressed though Violence arrest and executions. But It was to big to fight alone. so we are stuck with this system and follow like sheep trying not to make waves .Doing our jub if we have one Like the people who worked for race and resettle ment they were not a member of the nazi party but had a job and got paid with nazi money

  • The soldier is expendable

  • As long as Hitler was in the Berk-off eating crumpets on tea. with all his money .Realy gave a dame about 6th army in Stalin grad, No more than Obama or Wallstreet care about you.. How does it feel to support a Nazi Stae

  • NO FREEDOM OF ANYTHING LOL I SAiD IT IN 1974 LOL America ? a joke

  • Heres the truth 1 this land aint your land this land aint my land It's the federal government land.2 The federal government makes policy's and use banks to finance it. and military and police to enforce it those in middle class and just below middle class are soldiers in THE SS,3 if you have a social security card and they take money out of your pay check YOUR ARE IN THE SS, Unwittingly

  • @Hugh983 wow aint that the truth

  • the danger is to the demonstrators, where the police can abuse people, without witnesses.

  • i hate the motherfuckers personally im ready to go on a killing spree. i am moving to canada

  • I said it a long time ago but you all laughed Sig Hiel

  • It's ALWAYS about "protecting" people. But not really. I'd make a reference to Palpatine undermining the Old Republic, but that would imply that such a thing was in the process.

Welcome to the Empire of the United States of America. Where you have freedom of speech - so long as you don't say anything Big Brother finds offensive. Where you have the unquestioning freedom to wield guns (for now). Where you have the right to a fair trial - at least what we all fair.

And Canada is trying to join up

  • "Land of the free"...

  • Instead of Occupying Wall Street, why not Occupy the neighborhoods of the political figures that helped put policies in place that have aided Wall Street. Newt Gingrich, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Tim Geithner, and so forth.

  • america is no longer, perhaps never a free democratic country where people are free to live, speak, report and think their voice. all i have to say, DEATH TO AMERICA! seriously, to me this country is just another dictatorship. the dictators are the corporation, their mindless paid off dogs are the fucking cops. death to america

  • Democracy?? Done for. It's all finished.

  • We're now living in that AEROSMITH Arcade Game. #POLICESTATE

  • The oligarchs know what's coming and they are frightened. Take heart.

  • HES ALEX JONES OF THE GCN RADIO NETWORK!

  • Welcome to Amerika. May I see your papers please?

  • PROTECT THE PRESS????!!?!?!?!! Soooooooo there are no journalists from the US in war zones???????? They're definitely endangered.........

  • "We the People...." says it all! It doesn't say ..."We the Police..." or ..."We the government...".. or ..."We the military...".. or ... "We the President...."... or ..."We the mayor..." WE, THE PEOPLE ARE THE OWNERS OF THIS COUNTRY....NO ONE ELSE.... SO..... "Move over, you sons of bitches [childern of unmarried women] this Land is your Land... this Land is my Land from California to THE NEW YORK ISLAND!!! Get it? Now live it!

  • Even though I'm not surprised, it still fucking hurts this happens. It sucks realizing that everything you were told about the country you love growing up is a fucking lie. But OWS has awakened a faith in humanity inside me though. It's so great knowing there are people who care. It's great knowing someone who can reach out like Cenk cares.

  • @seriousguynogames3 great comment, growing up I also thought America was the greatest country, you grow up and see that's not quite true :(

  • @IsyLomeli What's even more sad is people don't see it, or see it and refuse to believe it. Shady late night raids so no one is around to see, the refusal to allow media to see police actions, undermining Constitutional Rights under the guise of public safety, curfew laws, fire code, etc. There's really no excuse anymore to not understand what's going on in this country.

  • Indeed O'Reilly did cover the news!

He stated that police found hypodermic needles!

  • R-E-C-A-L-L-!-!-!

  • They may take our lives, but they will never take OUR FREEDOM!!! ... wait. nevermind.

  • "In order to preserve democracy, repressive actions have been taken." Camper van Beethoven

  • Now that "Occupy Wall Street" has made its mark on the world stage, it is time for it to advance. They must move past peaceful demonstration that invole camping out and protesting in front of big corporations to establishing themselves as a political party in the USA.

Their purpose over the last several months has brought out many individuals who share their same view and now would be the optimal time for them to FORM A POLITICAL PARTY, one that would challenge the democrats and rebuplicans.

  • National*

  • If I were President I would send in the Nation Guard to protect the protesters.

  • But this is great news! While it was just the protesters getting arrested, the press had no personal motive to write articles favouring the protesters. However, now that the reporters themselves are being prevented from doing their job & seeing what it's like to be unfairly arrested 1st hand, i predict you'll start seeing some VERY protester sympathetic articles being written. The more reporters arrested the more sympathetic artcles you'll see. So, Bloomburg, have at it Hoss! Arrest every repor

  • so....when do the molotovs and bricks start flying?

  • @ryanell666 ironically the US OWS protests have been civil. However the protests in berlin, melbourne etc have contained bricks and molotovs. EVEN STILL WORSE many times the police there act like its no fuss and clean up the next day.

  • Journalists reps are just as bad as the bankers.

  • @thintbun Only when you wave it arround and talk about a "christian nation"

  • You mean King Bloomberg, they brought it upon themselves. No one cares when the NYPD shoots innocent people, and as a matter of fact, the press are the ones that protects them, and crucifies the victims even further.Fuck em'.Now they see how those victims families feel.

  • It's about time. Here in NY, we are sick of those squatters shitting in our parks.

  • Wait wait wait. Journalists being arrested in the States? For a second I thought we were talking about North Korea but I guess I was mistaken.

  • guys come to mexico and abandon that shitty country already... it has failed, it has been stolen from your hands... lets rebuild a democracy down here where its still possible.. we could use some american thinking over here

  • If the press is stopped from reporting on the occupiers, why dont they report that they have been stopped from reporting and put the news of this everywhere.

  • This is the problem with nonviolent protests. If Bloomberg knew a few hundred cops would be slaughtered when he did this, it wouldn't happen. SOLUTION: Bloomberg and a plethora of cops should be killed forthwith.

  • Aawwwww, that's so cute, Cenk actually believes that people of the US have rights. You have rights as long as it convenient to the elite and as you can see, they can take it away any time they want....

  • Truth like this is what pissed off Cenk's old bosses at MSNBC, if he was still there when Occupy Wall Street started he wouldn't have made it a week before they fired him.

  • This is crazy depressing.

  • i hope Bloomberg knows that the founding fathers would want him fired....

  • This is sickening. I have no words other than land of the free????

  • PLEASE PLEASE, for the sake of everyone, MAKE SURE EVERYONE VOTES this piece of crap out of public service... do not ever vote for this arse again.

  • how about mentioning the SOPA bill?

  • Corporate Police state

  • I feel so disgusted to live in Brooklyn N.Y. I REALLY wanna just punch him in the face.

  • Like I said, non violence just met its limits. The people of America move against their leaders soon.

  • @NanoHorizon correction, their *masters*

  • I have said it before and i will say it again, Americans need to have a revolution

  • there's 10 ''agitprops'' that doesnt like this video. Agitation-propaganda, long one for agitprop.
