My husband & I live in Rio Dulce 6 months out of the year...we are constantly telling people we know about the children in the orphanage and how truly wonderful they are...this video is absolutely amazing...it captures so much that words can not express...GREAT job! Olivia Jordan

I will be going there for only ten days in March, to assist in building a playground. It's probably one of the most exicting things to think about, our team of 12 going out there and doing something good. Great Video

Lovely film, but I hate the soundtrack ;) I was there for 5 months in 2005, and visited twice in 2006. I look forward to the day when I can return, but the present administration is difficult, (although your comments go too far, "Crystalskulls"). Nice to see I only recognised Miguel, and did someone mention Carlos? - Is he back from Guate?
This place does help the kids(as little as possible, you have to keep them poor looking) , but its main purpose is to make the owner (Angie) lots od money, I was there for 4 months
Every and all honest comments about "Casa Guatemala" are welcome, but please do not make any allegations about the people who run the casa without at least having the courtesy to give us some evidence or where to find such evidence.
Really, because I lived there for almost 3 years, where I saw every cent we had go into the project. And when you say that you were there for 4 months, do you actually mean working at the orphanage or just drinking at the marina on your sailboat? Really, did you even go to the orphanage or are you just posting slander and hearsay?

But one of my teachers would like to addopt a kid from Guatemala, I told her about Casa Guatemala. uhm do you know who she would need to speak with to get more information? :) thanks.God bless

I was there. Almost there in Rio Dulce last year and did not know about this place.
I have visited the website of Casa Guatemala but somehow cannot send my message.
Made me cry that little girl at the end.
Was there again a few days ago, and will return to Guate Rico in a few months.
Would love to help... Either farming or with the kids or for canoe excursions.... Or cooking...
