Yeah forcing people to get insurance or be fined is ridiculous...being in mass I know that hard enough :P especially when masshealth has fuc*ed me over. Not saying non corporate insurance is better (I was fuc*ed over worse by the previous private insurance I was on.) It needs to be revised and improved not totally thrown out.
The USA is NOT the richest nation in the world.....it is the biggest debtor in the world. There is no money. Pay of the 14 trillion and the 112 trillion in unfunded liabilities and then lets talk about free health care. Plus, the dollar is fast becoming worthless and the middle class will soon be no more. The USA is on the verge of becoming a third world nation. Can the warm fuzzy talk and jerk yourself back to reality
I feel deperately for Americans who are incapacitated or otherwise unable to work thru no fault of their own, but this debate is getting a bit old. Modern medicine is simply not going to happen in the US.... Emigrate!..When something or someone doesn't like me - I go away from it!!!; and the US doesn't just hate poor people - it loathes them, it wants them to die.

It was meant only as a deterrent to the PUBLIC OPTION, well after removing the public option its ridiculous to let it stay, but the Dems sold out, its that simple.
The goal was to get Universal healthcare, that was not accomplished, and this idea that this healthcare change is historical is, despite some good points in it, ludicrous.
I agree whole heartedly, Obamacare doesn't suck be cause its "socialist" it sucks because it isn't socialist ENOUGH. Its fucking sad that America, still the most dominant economy in the world can't provide its citizens with basic health care.
Actually I take that back, America could provide its citizens with health care easily but it's to busy spending tax payer dollars on the largest military budget in the world so that the military industrial complex can get rich and people can die.

@Shadowlit001 what you dont know that the Federal reserve haves the power to do for all taxpayers, so they decide on what to do..and when the money goes straight to military, the federal reserve(international bankers) get 10x the money they get from regular taxpayers. and this is one reason of how obama didnt CAPITALIZE on it. cuz he didnt want to betray the federal...this is my opinion, however, everything about the taxes and fed reserve, is FACT.
