The "starvation" is bullcrap. Snakes can go for long periods of time with no food and I doubt a "member of the family" would not have been given food. This moron probably either did not feed the snake correctly or killed the snake himself. It may have been indirectly, such as not going to the vet to have the ripped out teeth checked, but this man was responsible for the death of this amazing animal. don't mess with nature, or it will mess with you.

I freaking hate the narrations on these shows. "Its sizing up the baby to eat it", "there aggressive nature". I have been around pythons and boas for a number of years now and can tell you there not aggressive. Its not a good idea to put your animal in this situation they don't like being passed around like a foot ball. Another thing is don't tease people with your snakes, you treat them like toys you get whats coming to you. Any way they make wonderful pets just know what your doing.

You get something cause you want it and you plan to take care of it, if people enjoy it and want to hold it or w/e cool, but making it it pose with everyone for pictures? Come on... you'd think that if some of the thing's teeth got ripped out from the bite and then it stopped eating, they would've taken it to the vet since it was, "a member of the family."

I'm personally terrified of snacks(bitten by a rattler when I was younger) Poor snake though...But if your teeth are ripped out I doubt you'd be able to eat either, so the poor thing probably starved to death. The snake gave many signs she was unconfortable and wanted to return to her save spot, so the guy had it coming honestly.
