Aion definitely beats wow in some parts(like character customization,more skills so you need way more time to find out when to use shit and when not,more realistic looking game design) but Aion also definitely loses against wow in some parts (PvE is harder as far as I've seen even after 3.3,WoW has the best and most balanced pvp system imo...not counting patch 4.0 cause it's bullshit,pvp depends more on the player than on his gear and the wings in Aion may look nice but make pvp even harder)
Erm, i can say that PvE wow doesnt take much to do. Tough if u want to aim high in arena u better start playing cause its gonna take years to become one in the top. At wow in that case u cant say that is easy and all of u who says that wow is easy u should try get serious in it and u'll see that it aint to fucking easy. Why all the WoW hate? People have different preferences of what kind of games they like. I personally am over WoW because of its terrible community, but with the right people playing it can be a fun game. But for now I'm thinking of trying Aion, I just can't stand not being able to get good gear because my "gs" isn't unfucking-believably high.
WOW is not a easy game, you might think that because most of the players are mainly kids and teenage but ask a lvl 80 who has epic gear ,how long it took them to get that, how many people tried and failed..... and trust me getting a lvl 80 is nothing,like 1 step of a 1 mile run.

wow isnt kiddish sure blizzard became retards and made raids and gear easier to get but u still need to know rotations, what gear to use and how to fight bosses which is why there is a heroic mode now but tobad in cataclysm gear is going to be only base stats which is fucking stupid
@MrLeafty WoW is targeted at 12yo kids, hence, the blocky cartoon graphics, the lack of blood and violence, the ridiculous achievements (like "Giddy Up" for getting a mount). Also, there are no mushrooms, but there are Murlocs, cute pets and kiddish bosses. It's not to say WoW is bad, in terms of gameplay it remains unsurpassed, at least for now. I'm willing to bet Tera online will trump that with the omni-directionl, non-target dependent combat system, but that's not out till Q1 2011
i don't get why people moan about wow. i mean all mmorpg's are practically the same but with a array of quests (most of which are the same but with different names) and different art work. so if you prefer ncsoft's beautiful artwork that's cool, but if you like wow or anyother game at all that's cool too. i've personally played both only played aion for a month but i played wow alittle longer not because i like wow more but because i'm too broke to afford monthly aion membership.

As of right now, Aion can only be described in one way.....Grind Fest. I have the game but I'll be returning once they make it more entertaining than running around killing monsters for hours on end.

Its not that the game is unbalanced... these are two of the highest DPS classes in the game and in turn they have low survivability/armor so when an assasin jumps a ranger or vica versa they have the upper hand and unless there horrible they will not loose

noob sin to when he used ambush he shoulda foullowed up with signets and carves aloowing him to stunlock then carve two more binding rune in the air and thats it killed.....i love killing rangers i used to lose to them alot but when i hit lvl 40 on my sin they think twice before attackin a high lvl sin...lol

Its not that the game is unbalanced... these are two of the highest DPS classes in the game and in turn they have low survivability/armor so when an assasin jumps a ranger or vica versa they have the upper hand and unless there horrible they will not loose
