I had a z06 vette (03) that was nicely modified. It was a fast car but doesn't hold a candle to my '05 e55. The e55 is as fast as the modded z06 STOCK, it will seat 5, it's comfortable, and at high speeds it feels MUCH MORE STABLE then the z06 ever did. I did like the 32mpg in the z06 at highway speeds.

First off i drive a 01 mustang gt i love mustangs fun great cars yeah ok, but there is nothing that can be done to make it handle and ride that the factory tuned AMG. Here we go again, the merc is not 469 WHP, the "W" means wheel, its 469 at the crank, so more like 390WHP, the cobra actually had 450 something at the wheels, so more like 500 hp at the crank, so 500hp vs 469, and the merc weighs between 4,000 and 4,200lbs, the cobra weighs 3,665lbs, the cobra would be faster, if the merc was stock it would have lost, or this was a drivers race, it was a short race after all, do it from a role and it would be obvious, its simple math

Stock '02 + E55 AMG produces 469 WHP & 516 Lb/ft of torque from 2600 RPM and the curb weight is probably pretty much the same as a Mustang Cobra. If you remember your lessons from car 101 you'll see that this is very realistic

There is a lot of misinformed people in here. The Terminator barely lost to a finely tuned roots style supercharged sedan. Both of these cars have different backgrounds, share similar type of superchargers. Mod for Mod the terminator will win with a FORGED motor from the factory. 10k in that model cobra will net you over 800hp easily with the right turbo setup, so calm down guys. These are both my favorite cars. Fact is, the auto wins, and the cobra needs to firm up his shifts, both even cars.
