This Video Is Shot With The Sanyo Xacti 1000 Cam

I have the Sanyo Xaci 1010 the model right after the Sanyo Xaci 1000. It's really the same camcorder. I love it I might shoot the Apple iPad and shoot in web mode. I find HD is a bit of a hassle with large file sizes even with 720p.

Man, I am amazed at the sound clarity... It's as if you're shooting with a complex, big size camera with a very sophisticated mic. This "Web Mode" quality of your video is stunning. Do we have to buy an external mic? I don't mind buying spare batteries though. Great review.

I think that the most important thing with these type of videos where you have an important message to deliver is that the sound is good and I am really impressed by the good sound in your videos. It's a great difference compared to the internal microphones that most people use. Could you please give me the brand and model of your microphone please? Thank you.

Hi,

I use a Sony ECM-MS907 external microphone.

I am happy with it, although it is not a top end mic.

Be sure to always have a fresh battery in it, and keep it close to your mouth.

I plan to buy a shoe mounted directional mic, and a small clip on mic as well later.

I guess, having the whole SD Card, also helps with uploading time, because it's not "Real time" uploads.. shoot an hr and I guess it only takes minutes to upload?

Will keep the Video Camera in mind, one currently own is way out of date as far as usefulness goes. But the Sanyo Xacti 1000 700 to 800$ outta my range right now.
