Better than DS1, where the game pretty much plays itself, and DS2, where you have to click just as much but have a hit/miss chance, so most of the time you end up doing nothing to the enemy.
Ironically this combat system is more hack n' slash-ey than DS1 & 2. It's mostly the amount of story and dialogue in the demo that's boring you, right?
Then you probably shouldn't be playing anything resembling an RPG. If DS3 is "boring" to you, then I suppose anything other than nonstop action won't do... and RPG's don't really do that.
@DWTerminator depends on the game for example planescape torment is one of my favourite games ever and is not exactly an action rpg, i just dont really care about the fluff for dungeon siege therefore it bores me.
Planescape's not an action-RPG at all. It's all about the story and dialogue.
My problem with Dungeon Siege 1 & 2 is that they suffer from "... this is Diablo"-syndrome. I *hate* Diablo (at least the first one, haven't played the second yet). Mindless clickfest where the only real objective was "kill stuff, get loot." With this one at least they're trying to put in a story and character development.
@TheAntman2006 Try Severance: Blade of Darkness. Though I'm not sure if you can keep your attention in that game, as it is a pure hack and slash dungeon crawler with some cutscenes.
@DWTerminator I usually check all your reviews/thoughts videos and LPs depending on the game. But I will try to be more careful from now on. Good thing I joined the forum.

DS1 was painfully long for what it was, really. Seemed like it was 60+ hours of boring hack n' slash... but only 20 minutes of storyline and dialogue. It'll be interesting to see how DS3 does with the story and dialogue being more in-focus.
No multiplayer in dungeons siege 3 :s? In dungeon siege 2 I loved the multiplayer, Because at the time there was not many "one purchase" Rpg games you could play online.

I just can't get into these games at all. This demo is no different IMO.

I wasn't sure about it when I recorded this video, but apparently there's up to 4-player online co-op. Beyond that, though, I have no idea.

Dungeon Siege 1 was the first RPG I have ever played..... I didn't like it and I didn't pick up another RPG until Dragon age :D
