Dude, I love how the books obviously regard the Pagemaster as their ruler, but Richard doesn't know that because the first time they met there was no one else around to set him straight. Yet the Pagemaster seems to regard Richard as an equal of sorts...which I think is pretty cool. Somewhat remniscent of Harry Potter...somewhat.

I really don't understand why this movie was so underated. It's a little overdramatic with the lighting in the background like in the beginning admittedly and there are some other flaws, but I really don't see why some poeple judge it. Would you believe it only has a 4.8 on imdb and the idiotic Razzie's nominated Culkin for worst actor? He's one of my favorite child actors and this was such an enjoyable movie for me as a kid! And they really did a great job on that dragon. It's just beautiful!

when richard took up the shield, the helmet and the sword to fight the dragon. It reminds me of Sleeping beauty when the prince faces the evil empresses malificent.Which then turned into a fire breathing dragon to stop the prince from rescuing the princess. Fantasy indeed was like a fairy:)
