Same. Had my derg and RDM goin for me and a crapload of 40s-50s. I quit over the stupidest of reasons and now I regret it. So much fun, awesome community. Wanted to get into playing this year, but was told my char had been removed so far back, they couldn't undo it.

No matter how you slice it, shadow lord is the final boss.(endgame boss). expansions are only for those who wish to take their game furhter, much like the optional bosses in final fantasy's past.

Final Fantasy was entitled as such as it was predicted to be the last game Square would ever make. But when it single handedly saved their entire company, it was decided to continue it as a series. Which explains how there is more than one final fantasy. By the same principal, there can easily be more than one final boss. For example; We all know Kuja was the final boss of ff9. And yet there's also Necron.

@Sylence777 i guess you could the the final boss is usually the person who has been the centre of all evil for the duration of the game. Just like Kuja was. I have no idea what necron was about though, i never got that far.

Undeniably awesome, and full of win. I salute you, as if you've beaten the game, unlike me, you've likely had an experience that was quite profound. This music tells a story on its own, I have to wonder just how deep it got by this point in the game, given how much I was already reading into it by the first probably 1/100th of the game. I was into at least the 20's as far as my characters level's went, but it just seemed to me like I'd scratched the surface, to an extent, and in a certain sense.
