I live in the Netherlands and we normally start taking birth control when we get our period since it reduces pain/bleedings/and other unconfertable things.... So people stop giving stupid comments... About the nuva ring... just be aware that it changes your hormonal system... actually i got really (and i mean REALLY) depressed when i used them... This is not true my doctor said it is heat activated by your body and taking it out does not change the effectiveness
