Was this game made by the same person who made Rockman 5: Wilys dream space? cuz he used those gordos as spikes and uses a lot of kirby music in both games
@advancedpillow I think it's still between Rockman No Constancy and Rockman Deus Ex Machina. I haven't come across any really good MM2 hacks lately... Rockman 4 MI has to be the ultimate Megaman hack in general even if it's not totally completed yet.
Do they actually even MAKE hacks that are NOT geared towards the 'nerds-who-can-finish-*shudder-barf*-Battletoads-*ugh*-with-their-cocks-whilst-blindfolded-and-who-are-snarky-at-you-for-not-being-able-to-do-so' type crowd?
I mean, I like the visual design of some of these hacks, alot even with some of them. But they don't seem to be FUN to play from the looks of them. They seem to be more 'full of cheap deaths to make it harder.'
Don't get me wrong either, I don't mind hard when it's a FAIR kind of hard. The type of hard based on SKILL, and not in memorizing cheap death traps like *ugh-barf* 'battletoads' (man fuck that game) But seriously... Cheap deaths just make a game annoying.
@TheSkunkCat Well, you can try Rockman Sparking To Hero for example, I think that one is not that hard. Some hacks use cheap deaths but I think in most of the better hacks it's more about practicing a good strategy, not about memorizing traps. And hey, does a good game where you don't need to practice at all even exist?
I get your point but I just think that even if good Megaman hacks are usually really difficult, they are rarely cheap.
Uh, are you HIGH?! No Constancy is the easiest, but most awesome thing EVER (it probably is, really) compared to this steaming pile. Hell, even that pile of dung Deuce Ex Machina is better than this...
There's quite a handful of people here on YouTube that don't know what songs they hear on these Megaman/Rockman 2 romhacks. I'm one of them. This is awesome!
Yeah, I notice rom hackers of MM2 like to do that to you.
Not sure if you know this but those fat fan dudes are called
either:
Matasaburo (credits MMII GB)
or
Matousoburo (Look for the author's page of rockman exile "Blast Hornet"--should have all kinds of cool goodies including tools and hex function info for RM2)
Taht is if ya didn't already know that last part. ;)
So the storyline music is the opening theme from Final Fantasy Adventure, the Continue screen is the same as in Megaman 3, the Arena Break Room music plays when choosing a robot master, the Donkey Kong startup tune plays on the robot pose screen...and Air Man's stage has music from Final Fantasy Legend II?
Hmm... Maybe not the greatest hack there but I don't think it's that bad. Last stages were bit disappointing because they were little too easy but overall I think this is pretty fun hack.

Ih eard this hack is rediculously hard.
gamerfreak10001 1 year ago
@gamerfreak10001 It's not one of the hardest hacks out there. Comparing to other hacks I'd say it's pretty much average on difficulty.

finally some new enemies (at least for megaman). I have all the kirby games but i also have most of the mega man games.
cameradude1988 2 years ago
Yes Airman stage was a bitch, but when you get to Quickman's stage you'll be saying Airman wasn't so bad. Save/State!
saturnhexagon 2 years ago
Yeah, savestates can make things much easier. I only use savestates between the stages, not in them.

Most of the romhack songs are unfamiliar to me too.

DUDE! This level is fucking diabolical! Airman isn't a slouch either.

I guess there are some tough places in this stage like some fan enemies placed to evil spots...

There was a reference from the GB game Donkey Kong, when you enter a stage where you must fight him.

What is the music here? I have no guesses right now.
RedSalamander 3 years ago
I just randomly found out that it's from Final Fantasy Legend II just like topazshot88 thought. Cave of Light music.
Toopelius 3 years ago
the battle victory music is from ff3 legend
MegaKidicarus 3 years ago
Actually I believe it's from FFL2, not FFL3. 3 had a flourish to the end.
topazshot88 3 years ago
HAAAAAAA. Donkey Kong jingle for the intro.
Looks hard.
Exile woodman's music is Coo's music? THAT's why I never figured out where it was from.
And pretty much I figured for the other two.
Not a bad hack yo.

And the title screen music is from Mega Man 4.
MidnightMidna 3 years ago
That's another Rockman 2 hack with Kirby references/music.
Rockman Exile (Wood Man stage has Coo's music)
Rockman Exhaust
Rockman No Constancy (Air Man's level)
And now this one.
EdmacZ 3 years ago 2
Yes, I guess this hack has more kirby stuff than other rockman hacks.
Toopelius 3 years ago
the intro music sounds just like final fantasy adventure...

I think. Maybe.
