  • holden built a car called the xu2 torana with 3oobh

it was deemed illegal by the ozzy government

they were stripped out nd the shell used 4 the xu1 torana nd the engines later put in these babies

  • if you want to know anything ask ben stewart he wrote the book on them,i sold him every aust musclecar road test from the 60's and 70's many years ago.also the HK had steel front control arm bushes instead of rubber, just like HR's etc also the door locks different etcthe next model HT was a real transition stage.

  • they did get rust under the rear side window,gm put a piece of foam there originally, also under the rear window and the spare tyre well, but shit if i still had the 2 HT 350 bathursts i owned in the mid 90's i could probably buy new zealand.back then i used to drive them to work.

  • @pescadoygamba I had the same problem with my HT Monaro that I owned from 1974' - 80' I found that a strip of material like underfelt was between the inner and outer sheetmetal, and when the rear window rubber seal aged over time water ran down to the felt insert and remained wet which caused the rusting problem.

  • HK's were known for thier rust..the monaros got it bad under the rear side window.

  • I use to own this car, boy was I glad to see the back of it[chassis rail rust].

  • pure class. car's these days have no character, nothing on classic's like these

  • its a hk, you can tell by the front grill.

  • I wish I had a Monaro...

    Great car.
