  • It's funny that Tootie would go stupid over Jermaine, when all she ever talked about was Michael Jackson this, Michael Jackson that. She even had a big poster over her bed of Michael Jackson. Who in their right mind would flip out over Jermaine Jackson ugly ass? LOL Guess they couldn't get MJ on the show back then, probably was to busy making hits. TeamMichaelJackson! RIP my love, miss ever so much.

  • Would somebody post the whole thing up when tootie threw that tandrum over Jermaine Jackson.

  • aww i luv jermaine :)

  • Those Jacksons are great at music, but the only one who could halfway act is Janet.

  • Funny, This show was the first sign tha everybody wasn't intoMichael. It also reminds me of musicians like the Police, and Steely Dan! We Grownups were soo cool back then!

  • I bet they only got Jermaine cause Michael was TOO BUSY to be on that show!

  • Jermaine is look like Michael

  • i know, what was up with that!

  • In real life, Kim Fields was actually good friends with the Jacksons.

  • remember she remade dear michael?

  • I wish that they put that whole episode of when tootie threw that tandrum.

  • lol the last time i remembered mj was the real hearthrob in the 80s not jermaine

  • michael was probably too busy to be on the show so they chose Jemaine instead...

  • yeah, you're probably right. I remember watching this on nick@nite a long long time ago and being sad/confused that Jermaine was in this episode and not Michael

  • I don't know yall, Jermaine had a little heat back in the day. I mean Michael is Michael, but you have to give credit. Jermaine had a few jams here and there.

  • @tied2getherwithasmiL LoL ME TOO!! I was thinking..jeeze..least they could have got Janet... LoL. I know that's bad. But in "children's mind" I thought MICHAEL..JANET... ummm the others"..LoL. But now as an adult I know that back in the day... "the others" had some individual success as well.. Course I still haven't heard Rebbie's CENTIPEDE which according to my 10yr sr bro was THE JAM! LoL.

  • As I distinctly Remember, The MJ era was aso the Smooth Jazz era. Us folks were not with the kiddies during the eighties. We WERE watching Jermaine. We were NOT thrilled at the Victory Tour!

  • What year was this episode ?

  • Febuary 1982

  • I remember this episode too. I felt so bad for Tootie, she just looked lost after she found out Jermaine's "people" say the same thing to every fan..."thanks for being Jermaine's number one fan." Well, that's show business.

  • ive never seen this show but is that kim fields playing tootie

  • The music video that I have not seen for ages is Jermaine Jackson "Perfect, (Closest Thing To)". This music video shows a hot woman in tights in the workout scene. this video is hot. you gotta see it if you can find it. the only way to find it is on vh1classic. go email to VH1ClassicRequests@vh1.com if you want to see Jermaine Jackson's video "Perfect".

  • I think I know what you're talking about. The woman in tights was actress Jamie Lee Curtis for that film she did with John Travolta.

  • Tootie's #1 jackson is of course michael which was her biggest crush at that time.

  • I remember this episode!! I guess MJ was way too famous and too busy working on his album to appear on the show, so thats why they called on Jermaine 2 be Tootie's idol.
