@XlordchaosforteX No, it's not. It's only more difficult in the sense that the control sometimes really sucks and conjugates the enemies, as well as how they're spawned. Once you get used to the different control system, this game is a joke. It can be beaten in little over 6 minutes.

Though I didn't mention it, I hacked in the Laser as the permanent gun. Otherwise, most all guns are the same. The M is the default gun here, so picking that up while having a machine gun does nothing. Also, since the Rapid Fire would have no use here (all guns are auto-fire, yay), I guess they decided that's the way to gain lives (instead of scoring) because the R gives you lives.

In case you haven't realized, almost everything in this game is ripped from other games. The first level is ripped from Mighty Final Flight, and when the translation of graphics was made, something happened, which made it go from "hotel" to "otototel".

Oh, yeah. That's a trained ROM. The disadvantage is that you can't play with the other weapons or try to beat the game fairly. Not that the latter can easily be done :P

There's no 30 life hack for Super Contra. In the original NES Super C, the code was r,l,d,u,b,a,start and it gave 10 lives. The Japanese Super Contra on Famicom's code gave 30 lives, though I'm not sure of its code. This pirate version uses neither of those codes. But you can get 50 lives at the start, by holding either A or B and press start.

Sure, I'd love to help. See, I use FCEU, the best windows NES emulator around. To hack the game is a little more complex, but if you want cheats for this game in particular, hold a OR b and press start. Get 50 lives. If you need help with cheating NES games in general, let me know. Also, do you know any other Contra pirates?
