I thought it was okay. I also thought the first was okay. The second was utter crap, we can all agree on that. The first and third were half-way decent at least. We all have our own opinions, which I can respect, but why is it that I like the designs of the robots, the action, and just the fact they decided to make a movie based on a cartoon that was based on a comic that was based on a toy. I personally like the whole transformers series as a whole. It was only better for me because this.

I can understand when the movie is still only in theaters but I hate when people complain how they have to sit through the whole movie. Just skip to the parts you like. That's what I do. Does it mean the movie as a whole is good? No, of course not. But don't ignore the fast forward button.

I don't know why I have to be so left-field these days. I'm an intelligent guy, yet I liked the Transformers movies. They're don't-give-a-fuck fun. Over the top action and special effects, but it's a TRANSFORMERS MOVIE, a movie about giant super smart robotic organisms that are working alongside human defense personnel against bad Transformers.... I don't think it needs to have the same cinematic quality as The Wizard of Oz or The Sound of Music.....

When it tries to be overly dramatic you just remember all the shit thats comes before and it makes the game fall flat on its ass

I think the robots were more compelling, but only because I basically grew up with Transformers. The designs were hit-and-miss, while Sentinal's role in the movie was a joke. I never got Bay's obsession with Humans being in the spotlight.

I hope this review doesn't get attacked by the more idiotic Transformer fans.

Also, yes, an entertaining movie doesn't need a good storyline, but it should at least have a decent one. I can't get into the action or any of the "sad" moments in the movie when I know nothing about the characters. Action is more enjoyable when there is a sense of danger, or I at least know what the fuck is going on.

And on top of that, this is a TRANSFORMERS movie. It should be about the Transformers, NOT the fucking humans.

Another thing that should be mentioned about the Bayformers is that with each sequel there some major inconsistencies with the Cybertronians: Case in point, if Megatron was in league with the Fallen and Sentinel Prime, wouldn't the Fallen have known about it? Furthermore, ever since TF1, it always seems to forget about the last movie. Then I discovered the comic book tie ins to the The Bayformers and they suck.

Honestly, It felt like 2 movies struck together. the first 90 minutes was this god awful romantic comedy movie, and the last hour was a fairly decent action movie, along with the Transformers scenes. When Micheal Bay can be Micheal Bay, it's fun. When has to tell a story, he always breaks down actors to their most annoying and keeps giving us annoying characters.
