If you guys haven't figured this out yet, the best way to beat those large and fast tanks (the ones that look like the tanks driven by the Jawas in Star Wars) is to allow them to open up and expose their blue cores (this is when they are preparing to shoot). It should be pretty obvious when they are opening up. When they do, get right in front of them and shoot them with the Multi-shot Grenade Launcher Mk 5. This will rid them of their armor. Take caution though because they WILL go berserk.

If anyone is wondering what the boss on level 50 is like its like the level 40 boss(the reaper) exept its ALOT harder with better armour & more powerful ships (not the ones attached to it the fast ones). so when you hit level 50 DONT RUSH
p.s i used 2 directed energy admiters to beat L50 boss
dude,,, HOW YOU DO IT WITH D.A.E'S ? im using the bonus weapons that you can buy and im still failing and im not rushing (much, lol) i have the long range plasma cannons bith at MK5 and the multishot grenade launchers bot are MK5 too, got any tips? or a tutorial video?
@ICETEEBAG i beat him easily, if your talking about that armored guy that goes beserk after the armor comes off, its when there is more than one that i fuck up or die
@ICETEEBAG the Multishot Grenade Launchers are garbage. I personally like the Comet Missiles. and the Rail gun or Gauss Gun are a much better choice than the L.R. Plasma Cannons
@dbgt22 yup, i still havent gotten to finish 50 (havent tried in a while) but i did have a chance to chat with grimm on how to do it(hes #1 in the world scoreboard of sodium) he believes i can do it, i just need the right stuff. (comets/gauss and rail)

@Nastube i still haven't done 50 but i can give a few tips, leave one of those fast guys around and just avoid him. only hit the reapers one at a time so the rest stay on the big boss and deal with them one at a time, you want him totally isolated from other enemies. dont be too bold and constantly be doing evasive maneuvers. and don't bother with lvl50 until everything is mk5 so you can have a good chance. talk to grimm for further tips. ask nicely and he might help you.

I need some help... I can't equip new stuff, it kicks me out of the game and when I try again to join, it won't let me. Every time it does that again. I even deleted and reinstalled home, but nothing worked. I really want the full game, but not if this happens every time. Anybody know how to solve this?
i really like this game, the boss battles after level 30 are intense, really long too. AND THEY ARE MASSIVE, it used to be a tiny tank in boss battle level 5 and 10, then they GET HUGE, farthest i am right now is level 47

@castlezfinest1 you can't, Only the 1st 5 levels are free. They held a drawing on the 1st couple of days to give free vouchers but that is already over.
In the space where I am at in the video there's a booth, look at the sodium category there and there should be a jacket, in the description it should read "Unlocks the full game of Salt Shooter"
Oh Home in general is free, there's a whole bunch of minigames like elileonard said that are all free. But Salt Shooter is the 1st one you can pay for and its very well worth it with the amount of content. There's just little things you can pay for like cothing and personal spaces. So think like LBP
Yes and no, Read the description, there'll also be more info on other things you can get without paying, when I put the annotations up. Of course there's still a couple items (clothing and furniture) you can get for paying a couple of bucks if you want.

I need some help... I can't equip new stuff, it kicks me out of the game and when I try again to join, it won't let me. Every time it does that again. I even deleted and reinstalled home, but nothing worked. I really want the full game, but not if this happens every time. Anybody know how to solve this?
