He knew how to motivate his team. Not everything that changes the game happens on the ice. He did his part in the dressing room to pump the guys up. Players would talk about it. Back in the day he loved to argue with the refs and he's pretty consistent. In the last years of his career I don't think I saw him take any pointless penatlies.

LOL a little sensitive are we? What part of "talent over heart" didn't you get? Linden was a decent player but you praise him over better players like Bure and Naslund. Naslund gave plenty of time to his community but nobody ever recognized him and it's a well known fact that he is hated by many Canuck players. Naslund and Bure could have easily recorded a tribute, why didn't they?

easily one of the most underrated players of the last 20 years. at his peak, he rarely missed a game, scored a bunch of goals and was a great captain. as a rangers fan, i really gained alot of respect for him in the 94 finals and the tremendous effort he gave that fell just short.
