Hey, u did kinda mess up her hair once u got 2 the layering. I am a hair stylist so im not gona roast u but I do wana see u grow. Just be careful with the clients head u dnt have 2 move them as much 2 get the same result. Plus if ur gona do layers the way u are, take smaller vertical sections so the layers are consistent. Plus leave sum of the hair out on the bottom cuz u cut into the perimeter of her hair on 1 side which messed up the cut. But keep educating ur self ur on the right track tho :

Dude, your head is almost completely upside down when you're cutting the sides... And you're moving her head so many times while cutting the same section. You have to really think about the elevation and the angle of the hair, and there's no way you could've kept that consistent moving her around so much... I just don't get why you don't take the extra 10-15 minutes and do it properly...?

and he is holding thee shears very wrong, and it is not sanitary to put the comb in your hair, and then put it in the clients hair..smh..sweetie you need to go to school for this, so they can teach you the right way. Your pinky goes in the lil curl at the end! never dig into a clients scalp with shears! not a straight cut, all the way jagged! Nobody wants to style the way you do. Just go to school for it

You should part with the tail comb, not the tip of your shears. Look up the definition of over directing hair. The only reason that no one has seen anyone do hair like you is... because you are doing it wrong. I can only assume that this is what happens before I get a client that needs me to "fix" their hair cut.
My hair stylist layers that way too, only she does it in seconds. I was so scared when I saw her pulling my hair and taking those scissors and what I thought was "shredding" it. My hair is twice as thick as this woman's and it took her all of 5 minutes! I wanted to learn, so watched this, so I could try to cut myself to save on trims. Since you took so long, I was able to see exactly how she and you do it. Thank you so much! Awesome.

watching this was a bit nerve racking. You might wanna palm your shears when you aren't cutting. If you hold them correctly using the pinky rest it might be easier for you as well. It turned out great though. But, holding your shears with the wrong fingers can lead to problems later on.
although it was a bit choppy as the finished result, the techenique was unique and i liked the back... maybe your client wanted that choppy look who knows ...

@SuperLexylex123 I use to think that remy was a texture of hair but thats not true. Remy is the way the installers install the hair on the weft. They put the hair on the weft to where each strand is going in the same direction whic suppose to prevent tangeling. The best hair is 100% human virgin hair, non processed

I like the hair cut that you did. I just starting doing my own hair and I was very irritated with all that hair on me as I know you client was. I purchased a plastic cape from the beauty supply store for $2!!! Its a cheap investment and it works as well as the expensive ones that you see. You should get one, I'm sure your clients would appreciate it in the long run. I love that hair color...what color is that?

Before I finish watching this video..I'm going to nicely give you some helpful tips...1. Your client needs a cape during all hair services especially cuts. No one wants to have hairy clothing leaving the chair..2. You do need to get better at your cutting technique. I'm not saying your cut so far isn't well, I'm just saying your technique will have you doing something over and over versus one time & it's perfect. 3. Watch your aggressiveness while working with your clients..you're a lil rough.
omg you butchered that bob and im sure you know it. you should look into getting some formal training, or invest in some cutting classes. You definitely needed a guide because free hand doesn't work for you. Nonetheless i wish you all the best..

I have a comment to all of the one the say his cutting techniques need some work! If you pull up some hair cutting by carcasions they free hand. Some may call it PERCISION cutting!

I like the hair cut that you did. I just starting doing my own hair and I was very irritated with all that hair on me as I know you client was. I purchased a plastic cape from the beauty supply store for $2!!! Its a cheap investment and it works as well as the expensive ones that you see. You should get one, I'm sure your clients would appreciate it in the long run. I love that hair color...what color is that?

You did a great job with your hair style.But WHY do some people have something negative to say? REAL stylists knows there's SEVERAL ways you can cut layers in hair. And to the ones who are nicely or not so nicely "critiquing" Have yo chit together b4 u go making stupid comments on videos. Where are YOUR hair videos that are so professional? Can YOU provide advanced cutting techniques? I agree he should use a cape, cause hair is irritating but wen u do hair at the house, there r no rules idiot!

Before I finish watching this video..I'm going to nicely give you some helpful tips...1. Your client needs a cape during all hair services especially cuts. No one wants to have hairy clothing leaving the chair..2. You do need to get better at your cutting technique. I'm not saying your cut so far isn't well, I'm just saying your technique will have you doing something over and over versus one time & it's perfect. 3. Watch your aggressiveness while working with your clients..you're a lil rough.

omg you butchered that bob and im sure you know it. you should look into getting some formal training, or invest in some cutting classes. You definitely needed a guide because free hand doesn't work for you. Nonetheless i wish you all the best..

Thats a cool way to layer... only I suggest you follow a guide, that way the layers blend more.... because one side was shorter but overall good job
