As much as I feel for Marcos on this, Carl did exactly what you should do in this situation. He got close enough to Marcos to where it worried Marcos into taking a different line into the last corner which in turn caused him to slide and hit the curb.

Marcos deserved to win, but Carl worried him into a mistake.

all those cautions killed marcos, last year with much more rain resulted to be much more better, less cautions less wrecks .... this time it was all over the place. all of them can drive some others need to be much more patient, it sucks sometimes how nascar takes it all cautiously, but sometimes they just screw a race many people really expected to be awesome, still marcos is awesome, nascar rules, but they need to change some things before thay hit right turns next time

I watched this live and it was a mess of a race. Marcus can drive even a "Nascar uncontrolable missile car" but these cars are not made for this type of track and there is very little experience of racing in the rain in Nascar. Marcus did ***k up though and Carl was there to make the most of it and good luck to him for being there. I know Marcus but I don't know Carl, looks like a nice guy, is that true anyone?

By far not the best road racer so don't get too carried away , we have guys here with better records . Also , now don't get upset but , for crying out loud how many cautions do they need ? just drive the bloody cars ! those guys need to harden the fuck up . A good race that got spoilt by excessive use of a lumbering pace car .

Wow! i didn't know that these cars and drivers could race on a track with corners and big breaking zones like the f1 drivers do!. Really impressed with this : it looks terrifyingly dangerous and exciting. I would love to see NASCAR at say Silverstone here in the UK. Well done to the NASCAR drivers for putting their cars on a proper hard track!.

Just how good is Marcos Ambrose ? He is now a factor / force in nearly ALL CUP events , he is already the worlds best roadcourse racer [ i know that's a big statement, check his history !, ] and when he mastered Ovals which i think he will, all he needs to be in a 'TOP ' CUP team, and just remember he's doing this well in CUP in a very small team in his 1st yr , can you imagine him in a TOP team ? I think if there was a WILD CARD into the CHASE i think Marcos should get it ! NASCAR ROCKS.

I'm a Carl fan, always have been, so this win was great. It made it that much more amazing that my driver is the one to pull that off... but ambrose.. man.. I've always liked ambrose as a road course driver and i feel bad for him. Its amazing how he could be so perfect all day and on the last turn of the last lap he makes a mistake. The whole race was entertaining! we need more races with this much action

Great race the first 60 laps! Then after the rain dead.... It shows that half of these drivers have no clue how to race. I think that the front half did fine. but nascar needs to figure out these rain races and maybe 2 spin outs your out of the race.

Oh my gosh... WHAT A FINISH. Man but you've gotta feel for Marcos Ambrose. He did so good all day and I didn't expect him to slip like that in the last corner. But congrats to Carl though. He really made an effort to catch up to him on that last lap and it paid off.
