  • I had heard that AZ residents hate those cameras, as do the rest of us, but this is priceless! Ron Paul would expose this kind of government control of the states, not to mention the Feds. Ron Paul 2012!

  • Once our profiteering government sucks the people dry enough the people will take care of things. The authors of the Constitution and our Forefathers in general guaranteed that for us in their infinite wisdom.

  • Santa Clauss is coming to town! Oh Yeah!

  • Cracks me up. They are two tall in the area of Texas where I live. Maybe just a good ole fashioned hack saw would do. I saw on another one where they drilled through the bottom of the camera housing and filled it with expandable foam. Now that was some creativity.

  • that is awesome

  • PLEASE COME TO LONG ISLAND, SANTAS!!!!!!

  • Timely for me. I'm in New Orleans where yesterday, the Louisiana Supreme Court has told the City of N O to unplug them. The cameras were overseen by the Public Works Dept., which is an infringement of the City Charter which reads that only the Police Dept. can enforce traffic regulations. The City will have to put it up for a vote which, being such an unpopular and infuriating program, will obviously be defeated. The people can win sometime. Hip hip hooray!

  • We need more videos like this. Good job!

  • undercoating works really well on these cameras as well.

  • vial for the scamera !

  • Santa's helpers - respect !!

  • Go santas!! This is what we need more of -- some good old fashioned civil disobedience against government thuggery.

    Restore Liberty!!

  • ROFL You Shouldn't Speed Then.

  • tyrant

  • Heck yeah. I've got a ticket before, and I still agree with this for sure. It kinda makes me wonder why so many people are so into breaking laws...

  • alot of people who are caught by these bloody things aren't persistent law breakers, they are law abiding citizens who may stray over the limit from time to time. any driver who say they have NEVER broken a speed limit is a lier and should get a clue before critcizing people who are just unlucky enough to get caught! i know some assholes deserve it by the way, should be a 3 strike system not just automatic fines.

  • I'm just saying, they let you break the speed limit. They do have a leeway. I can't say that I've never broken the speed limit, but I can say that I'm not stupid enough to go fast enough to get caught on the cameras. They only catch you if you go a certain amount over...Luck has nothing to do with it.

  • @TVanisher this is true, it is well known here in the Valley that the cameras don't trigger unless you are going 11 miles over the speed limit, so if it is a 45 mph zone and you are doing 56 it flashes and takes your pic. It's almost kind of hard to get caught, and you have to be going really far over the speed limit.

  • Yeah, stop trying to stop them from taking away our rights away!. It never stops any way. Soon we will have to ask may i do this or that before it's over!.

  • Haha, awesome.

A funny scene: The police show and you've 4 Santa's running away, jumping HOAs walls.

  • Justice and Freedom for all!! End the control and thuggery of the private corporations over our free movement - making a profit off of innocent consumers. I have no problem with ticketing reckless/careless idiots, but these cameras are mostly used to rip off honest travelers who have done no harm. EVIL CAMERAS SHOULD ALL BE DISABLED!

  • @ richflocker Why? So An Innocent Man Can Get Shot In The Face? What If It Was You Who Got Shot In The Face?

  • dude, seriously? they dont record every action mearly trigger when someone goes past at a few miles an hour over the limit! as for this shot in the face buisness if the public at large would just ALL stop carrying guns and relax a little, noone would have to get shot in the face!

  • THANK YOU SANTAS!!!

  • word, come to mesa and do that, I'll be a lookout !!!

I can't believe people are defending those cameras. They'll defend it until they get a ticket. If people defend it, then they probably won't mind Policemen quartering in their house and fucking their women and children, but hey its law right?

  • @smrio Really? Is that what you think? That it's okay for Policemen to quarter in a person's house and screw their women and children... No, that's against the law. It's against rape laws, it's against the privacy laws, it's against trespassing laws, etc. Please don't make ignorant comments like this. However, it is also against the law to excessively speed. Have you read the stats on fatal crashes or crashes in general? The faster you go, the more likely you are to do serious damage.

  • ED-209 is only a few years away.

  • the people defending speeding cameras are just missing the bigger picture. I am all for people who drive recklessly being fined.

The cameras go way beyond that, they should be an insult to you. Not to mention its a private company profiting off it....lol suckers

  • Hmm, so driving excessively over the speed limit isn't reckless? I'm just saying...they do have a purpose (they do punish those that cops can't get too). The cops can't get everyone, the cameras help punish those who escape their radar.

  • @TVanisher I love how some governments think it's okay to circumvent the law in order to make up for their shortcomings (lack of police, lack of money, etc). I need to raise some quick cash to pay my phone bill. I think I'll steal city property and sell it on eBay. Hey, why not? If my city government can use illegal methods to balance their budget, then I should also be able to do so.

We have a Constitutional right to confront our accuser. Not easy to do when the accuser isn't a human.

  • @PrideofWhitey Oh, please...if you think that's the reason those cameras were there, there's really no arguing with you because you're one of those diehard conspiracy theorists. Oh no, the government is totally doing this to get us...It's not because there's fatal accidents everyday. No, THAT couldn't be the reason. Yours is a lot more logical..............

  • @TVanisher Bah Humbug. I became aware of the lack of drivers education in our public schools only after being a tow truck driver and talking with a teen involved in a collision. I was told that if you want driver education you have to pay for it. Not like it was when I was in high school many decades ago. You want safe drivers? Give them an education, not a ticket!!!

  • @TVanisher Doesnt matter. They are unconstitutional. 6th amendment. Look it up

  • @NFCButtrubb3d See now, I don't believe they are unconstitutional...if you want to make a point don't just say 6th amendment, look it up. If you have a point to make, feel free to make it, but don't just point out amendments. If you are referring to the right to face an accuser, all I have to say to that is bring the person responsible for that camera in for questioning. He's the one accusing you using photographic and video evidence. Once again, why do people insist that breaking the law is OK?

  • @TVanisher Get me a some time and I will have a few points for ya lol I am doing a policy brief against them and would gladly share it with you when finished if you'd like.

  • @TVanisher Because you absolutely CANNOT trust a profit-based organization that puts itself first and its citizens/employees second.

My two cents: The government robs everyday people of five hundred dollars for going 6 miles over the speed limit.

ANY FOOL CAN SEE THIS IS UNJUST. THE THOUGHT THAT YOU TALK DOWN TO OTHERS MAKES ME SICK TO MY STOMACH. GOOD DAY SIR

  • stop it! stop hurting the state! stop standing up for our rights! stop! go back sit down watch tv and shut up!

  • HELL YEAH THESE GUYS ARE MY HEROS!!

  • Maryland needs you Santa's Helpers!

  • This is getting so ridiculous. We now have robot police surveillance at every corner watching ordinary citizens take a crap and walk their dogs? What's next? Robocop's ED-209?

"Please put down your weapon. You have 20 seconds to comply. You now have 15 seconds to comply. You are in direct violation of penal code113 section 9. You have five seconds to comply. Four, three, two, one. I am now authorized to use physical force. BANG-BANG-BANG!

  • AMEN to Santa's helpers!!! ^_^

  • On my way to fight a ticket over the "caught on cameras". Win or lose, I am not a leming.

  • No way should private firms be profitting from these cameras and what if the registered owner is not driving the car they still get the ticket and then and the hit on their insurance this is a shaky if not completely unconstitional law.

  • this is so punk rock.

it's not a matter of breaking the law or not, it's the fact that we can't be trusted to make decisions. these cameras are the most unamerican thing ever.

  • good, finally somebody is doing something... I hope others are inspired to take action

  • "Dude, the cameras dont make you speed and brake the law, slow down, follow the law"

Dude, the speed laws are set artificially low so as to create revenue for states and municipalities. Wake up and stop apologizing for tyranny.

Dude, the red light camera intersections have artificially short yellow lights, again, to artificially create revenue for tyrannical states and municipalities.

  • If a cop isn't there, then I didn't do it.

  • i got busted in kulver city, CA for $349.00. guilty until proven innocent, no official discretion, no jury of your peers, no checking to make sure you don't have a twin, no fucking adherence to the principles of freedom and pursuit of happiness.

stop these insidious fascist fucks from destroying our lives. it isn't done in the name of safety, it's done in the name of get our munipality out of the red because the powers that be have fucked it up so much.

  • "Speeder meet camera, camera meet speeder. stfu and take it, you know you were caught."

Subject, meet tyranny. Tyranny, meet subject.

  • Stick it to the man, Santa. I believe!

  • go santa!!

  • good work boys. this is not the USSR...too much government intervention is not a good thing.

    What's next?

  • When are you guys coming to Albuquerque? We need you now!

  • I thought they turned off the cameras in Abq? Some sort of issue between Richardson and Chavez....are they still running?

  • They are still arguing about it, but the cameras make too much money for the city of Albuquerque and the state of New Mexico skims off the rest.

  • Awesome video, I hate those cameras.

  • The cameras were supposedly voted in by the Legislature. Just remember this when you cast your vote next time. It is public record who the Legislator(s) is/are and they should be publicly flogged for being just plain dumb.

  • AZ is ruthless. In 2005 I got a call out of the blue saying my husband owed on a ticket in AZ. I thought it was a scam (my husband has'nt lived in AZ since about 1993) until I called the pheonix court house and they confirmed that he now owed $200+ and had a warrant in AZ. We payed the fine but it makes you wonder who else might call in another 12 yrs.

  • go santa

  • so im guesing 3 hrs later they took it down

  • I am from California, and going to Phoenix last weekend I was suprised at night, 15 miles out of Phoenix (in the desert) by a flashing light! After 6 hours of driving I'm not paying attention to every sign on the side of the road, and to get a ticket for driving 85 on an open highway is crazy! I am all for stop light traffic cams, but in the middle of the freaking desert when driving on a straight road?! Again, T-boning someone at an intersection is not cool, but in the F*%$ing high desert?!

  • Damn big brother.

  • Idiots site unnamed sources showing that 'traffic cams increase rear end collisions.' I think the real story is that people are driving to close to one another, not paying attention, driving to fast (pick your poison).

Claims made by people citing unnamed studies only hurt the true points of why these cameras are bad.

    1) they are for profit &

    2) its very Orwellian (big brother)

Cheers to all of Santa helpers.

all drivers...hang up your phone & drive like its 1984 He'll be watching

  • Yah, not only are they making profit on redlight violating citations they're also making a profit on citing the people who were in rear end collisions and since that's on the 50% increase due to the cameras big brother is really raking it in.

  • Comment removed

  • awesome, fuck this cameras, they're revenue generators under the guise of "public safety"

  • with the camera, i will getting tons of tickets. IN order to beat the system, i think i might go up to a relative's house in Canada, and register my car there to beat it. That way, I do not need to pay the annual auto tax to the town, and i can ignore most of the tickets since the two nations do not share driving intels.

  • @evilh0ly Why bother, if all they want to do is use cameras, and fire police. After their all off the steets just take your plates off and tint the top of your windsheild. Then lets see them identify you.

  • Comment removed

  • in broad daylight too

  • no it actually makes me nervous when im driving and according to the yahoo article it makes more accidents because people slam their break causing rear end accidentes so no violeters arent the only ones!

  • Actually, new studies have shown that traffic cams increase rear end collisions, due to drivers slamming on there brakes at the sight of a traffic cam.

  • hahaha... that's awesome, when I lived in Phoenix, the got me twice on the 101 but I didn't have to pay, lucky I guess ;)

but they got a couple of my friends, so GO SANTA GO

  • This is nice. I'm from Peoria,Az.I watched the whole status update on tv the other day just for the 5 redlight cameras they have placed here on the west side of town(Peoria) there has been a 50% increase on rear-end accidents since they've put those damn things up. Also they have the yellow lights set to a minimum of three seconds to catch more people and ultimately make more money.

As far as a decrease in accidents it's on the slight 5% for T-bones and Head on collisions.

  • fucking awesome!

  • I think this is a great video. Those stupid traffic cameras are, at best, a tremendous nuisance to all drivers - at worse, they are a cause of major accidents. They should all be done away with - including the idiots who came up with the idea of installing them in the first place.

Hey Santa Guys, can y'all open up a franchise in Houston Tx?

  • hahaha...this is so freaking great.

i knew this is going to happen.

    very brave

  • i love this video. these camera are just a way for the cities to take more of our money. my wife got a ticket on the 101. she was 1 mile over the limit. 1 fkn mile per hour. $185 fine. screw that. they covered the cameras no damage. we should do that more. i noticed more cameras = less dps officers on the road. cameras are gonna take away jobs. im gonna take a picture of $185 check and mail it back to them. alls fair right?

  • HAHA!!! that's exactly what they did to your wife so yes it is fair. nobody caught her speeding it was just the camera. but i wouldn't use a check because they could always get the routing and account numbers off the bottom and actually get their money. I would take a picture of cash since there is nothing they could do with that lol.

  • Bravo, the people are going to have to take back our freedoms, these dam politicians just dont care.

  • hahaha nice, good job guys!!

  • i live in killeen texas and those fucking cameras r everywhere its fucking ridiculous.

  • those cameras cause accidents because people slam their brakes on yellow lights. A boy was paralyzed in such an accident. Maybee your child will be next.

  • thank you santa

  • Awesome video, but too bad for the shaky camera.

  • Six cities have been caught shortening yellow lights to increase their profits at intersections with these cameras.

Killah89107 is just mad, he won't have his cushy job with Redflex much longer.

  • Swine.

  • When other cars was being flashed with that Bright Blinding Light at night, it caught me off guard and effected my vision briefly. Kind of ticked me off.

  • So what is your take on the Boston Tea party? You need to get your head out of the public school system.

  • What in the bloody fuck does the Boston Tea Party have to do with endangering innocent lives on the roads by promoting illegal driving speeds? Not a Goddamn thing. Maybe you need to get you head IN to the public school system...

  • Killah89107: Don't be a sucker. This has nothing to do with public safety and everything to do with making money. Wise up.

Search: "Revenue Drives Red Light Cameras, Not Safety"

  • Christ...I'm no sucker. Part of it is driven by money. But municipalities are doing two things at once; catching the speeders who are endangering other drivers and pedestrians as well as making cash to fund city and county operations. You wise up, dammit.

  • "A study of crash causes released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration last July found about 5% of crashes were due to traveling too fast and 2% were from running red lights. Driving off the side of the road, falling asleep at the wheel and crossing the center lines were the biggest causes identified." -wsj Mar 27, 2009

  • Killah you are an idiot. When highway speed limits were increased...traffic deaths went down even though miles driven went up. How does that jive with your veiw of reality. Quite simply these are attempts to raise taxes without saying so. Our government is running amok and we are letting them. Stop the madness.

  • Redflex - Australian parasites.

  • Those cameras suck. I went to arizona for the first time on new years eve and got a ticket a half hour after getitng into the rental car. As a NY resident, do I have to pay it or will i not be served this far? I am reading a whole bunch of shit on this and can't get any straight or consistent facts...some people say it will fuck up my credit or stay in the system for ever and others, including a tempe attorney said that if I am not served physically within 150 days of the incident its thrown

  • After 120-180 days, if the ticket is not served personally, the complaint is dismissed automatically. As long as you do not get served either personally or by certified mail, the court has no power to make you answer the complaint. There has been some cases, if a defendent can't be served, they will file a motion for alternate service.

  • I LOVE THIS.

  • speed cameras in az are every were.... good job you guys...

  • Now I really do believe in Santa Claus...Go get 'em Santa.

  • Tempe Police Chief is a MORON! The day it happen the police position was "this is a harmless prank, with no damage to the units, we will not be pursing the individuals". And then, 48 hours later chief moron asigned an investigator and said "...we are pursing all leads into this criminal matter" What a flip flopping fool! Go chase down drug and drop houses instead of santas!

  • hahahaha! I know exactly where that is because I spent the week at the Butts hotel, then I got back home in VA and I had 2 speeding tickets for going through the yellow lights!!!!

  • arrest the beaners. they have no right to be here. keep the cameras on the borders, NOT in every other place inland. case closed.

  • Comment removed

  • Ha this was really funny but stupid! I saw those too.

  • please come to california next year.

  • Cameras = money period. They aren't there for hit and run. Plus, your rational is wrong on three acounts. If someone injured you at a redlight, 1 - If the impact was such that it killed or seriously injured you, I doubt the other person is going to be able just drive away. 2 - if they did, it is 90% likelyhood they have no insurance to pay for your medical, and sueing someone that has no money will get you no-where.

  • 3 - in a hit and run, your expences would be covered under your OWN comprehensive policy. 4 - having lived in Phoenix (1.5 million people) for 12 years, I have yet to hear of just ONE hit and runner that was caught because of a camera.

  • haha that's awesome - good work guys!

  • SSanta Is Awesome!!!!

  • keep the border fence and cameras...stop surveillance on American citizens, border jumpers are not Americans...stop illegal immigration and deport illegal Mexicans

  • and stop taking prescription drugs...

  • haha

  • @SlipKnot7480 Deporting doesn't work. Their back within a few days. Start sending dead bodies back across the border, and maybe the rest will get the hint.

  • Ho-Ho-Ho !!!

  • Awesome!

  • Ho ho ho! The cameras gotta go!

  • what a beautifully Christmas thing to do - Jesus Christ himself would have approved! So would Gandhi! Peaceful and non-violent - and so cheery! :D Great job, patriots! :)

  • i support this

  • Yahoo!! Fighting back against the police state with hilarious mockery, I love it!!

  • we need to cut some mirrors to fit over the lenses of those cameras. that'd be amazing.

    CHEESE BITCH!

  • I'm buying a paintball gun tomorrow :)

  • good idea but that paint is washable! just hit it with a bat or something or like throw rocks at it or u could always get a real gun..

  • Great job keep it up!!!

    Those cameras are unconstitutional.

  • Yeah, if it makes me less likely to die and possibly kill others from a horrible rear end collision, I will break the law.

  • Fuck those cameras. I see those cameras everyday. You should spray paint the screens next time. I wish someone would do this to the cameras on the I-10.

  • Righteous!

  • You guys are heroes, and I hope your activism inspires people all over the country (and overseas as well) to take a stand against institutional surveillance and predatory state revenue schemes.

  • You should see what some in the UK do to those cameras.

  • Quite simply if enough citizens do something about our crazy government...it will change. I love the box over the camera..no damage just silent civil disobedience. Great stuff

  • Red light cameras cause accidents.

  • Nice job guys! 5*****

  • BRILLIANT! Good on you!

  • Excellent video. Way to go Santas! I live in Phoenix and I hate those damn things.

  • Santa should be around year round :)

  • Awesome! keep us the good work Santa(s)!!!

  • I just picture some fag watching the screen from those cameras fondeling himself. Thats what the FBI wants to be known has. They allow voting fraud, fraudulent bailouts, lack of evidence and investigation on all terror strikes in the US. They are nothing but a faggot organization who falsley get portrayed as heros.

  • "unsafe driving"

there's the rub, lunatic. sensors covered in this vid do not accurately detect unsafe driving. rather, they monitor and penalize the crossing of arbitrary dicta --- designed to be _not_ followed -- from your master lunatics. go be a slave somewhere else. for the children.

    "no reasonable expectation of privacy"

fallacy. this is a property seizure issue.

  • i wouldnt doubt the gov just changed .....that idiots meds "who knows" crazier stuff has happend........just to throw mud on a fun prank like this

any how to hell with the jerk ........these guys taught a peaceful way to protest

  • its sad that crazy santa killer had to ruin this "otherwise clever prank " that would draw attention to the MONEY MACHINES

that jerk that killed his family was a jerk (*@#($&*(#&$(*

dont confuse that for "fun" they didnt damage the cams or hurt anything.........just spreading chrismas cheer.....

  • Every little bit helps.

  • hey if we cant record a PUBLIC officer, why cant we be off the tyranny grid.

..the people are done gettin shafted

  • Speed cameras are there to help protect the community. They attempt to stop little boy racers from speeding, and possibly killing themselves or other people.

The only reason you have to be against them, is that they don't let you speed. Very sad!

  • The cameras don't stop anything. That's like saying the speed limit signs stop speeders, or stop signs stop drivers.

It has nothing to do with speeders and preventing crime. It has everything to do with prying into your personal life. The government is sending out robots in the form of cameras to do the work of the police. If they want to catch speeders, they need to get their butts to work and catch them, not take pictures of every car that passes through and intersection.

  • i went buy you guys doing that it was awesome hahaha

  • This needs to happen more. I don't care about their hippie conspiracy reasoning behind it, but speeding without getting caught rules.

  • fabulous

  • who says there's no cool people in phoenix?

  • This is so stupid. "take that society" yeesh. get a life, find something more important to occupy your time with.

  • are you kidding me!? when was the last time that you had the balls to stand up and take action?

  • This isn't taking a stand. What did they prove or accomplish by this? Nothing. And if you're going to take a stand, don't be afraid to show your face. This was just pointless.

By the way, I have taken action and stood up for important issues. Issues in the work force and for animal rights.

  • it's certainly not the most radical thing they could've done, but does that make it a waste of time? maybe in your eyes.

they obviously thought it was something worthwhile. it wasn't a slap in the face to "society", if that's what you think you obviously are judging people without knowing their motives. that holier than thou attitude usually comes from people trying to prove their own worth. maybe you should look in the mirror before judging others.

  • Animal right= not a worthy cause.

Labor unions = marxist philosophies run amuck.

You have only strengthened governmental presence, not stood up against it. Do some research.

  • Those guys are brave. The rest of us sit on our asses while the government watches our every move. We have become sheep. We're like the German people who watched while NAZI machine grew in power and got worse and worse.

  • "Those guys are brave."

    true.

  • too many in england to cover up

  • LOL, you normally drive 56 in a 35 and just got lucky you were doing 46!! Don't lie, come

on I know I do at least 50 in a 35 most times

and most people do, BUT most people think they are right and didn't do anything wrong but you did and got caught and feel you are being picked on, get over it.....

  • Anyone can do 50 in a 35 when it is a 6 lane road. since when is a six lane road 35 MPH?

  • Great capture that your doing illegal stuff and put it on youtube.

Like what ya did though :D

  • I live in Tempe, AZ and I think that ppl who have to have a nanny state in order to do what is right need to be shipped out of a free country and go somewhere that does not base its governmental history on the premise of LIBERTY. CHEEESH, you buncha dummies (barbieavalon, below) who do not value your own rights!

Times are coming when the govt. will own EVERYTHING and rule over us like rats in a cage. We have to hold onto liberty as much as we can and for as long as we can!

  • Oh how silly.
