  • 0:40 Słychać strzały xD

  • They named the project... after a hat

  • @WWEfireworkfan Better than 'masturbating minx'

  • fedora is really cool

  • How come I don't see this when i turn on my computer and boot Fedora 10?? instead I see a white and blue bar at the bottom of the screen and Fedora 10 in the bottom right corner.

  • that should be because ure using nvidia or intel card. there driver don't support kernel mode setting. (well intel does, but I think they have some problem atm). Nvidia won't support it anytime soon on a side note

  • So is there any way to fix this other than installing another video card?? What kind of card would be compatible? I'm using my computer's stock intel card at the moment.

  • there is a workaround, it brings out the plymouth without using kms.

you open as root /boot/grub/menu.lst and you add at the end of the kernel line : vga=0x343. the last 3 digits (343) depend on the resolution of your screen. if you are unsure type vga=ask instead (at the same place) reboot and you can choose from the list. to make it permanent you edit the file that I mentioned earlier

  • but if you have an intel card you shouldn't worry to much. it will come out soon enough and when it does, just remove the vga thingie from the menu.lst

  • nice, thanks assalane i'm trying it out now! when does the update from intel come out? and is it gonna be in the repos?

  • Is that from power off to log in? I'm not as wowed as I expected, but it does look a bit faster.
