I am so honoured to have been able to see the Bee Gees in concert. It was in Perth, 1989. I was 17. My friend and I were calling out to them and being such lovely gentlemen they all looked at us, Robin and Maurice waved and Barry said "yeah we know you're up there". He then said something else to which the crowd responded with a giggle, but I was so star struck at their acknowledging our existance that time kind of froze, LOL!! Such a special moment. Thankyou Barry, Robin and Maurice.....

The saddest part about Andy's death to me is that the last conversation he and Barry had was an argument :(

I always have a terrible time watching the tribute song to Andy, Wish You Were Here. It was obvious that Barry was still having a very difficult time with it. What a great tribute. Thanks so much for sharing this with the world. The tears are still streaming down my face, but I have enjoyed it very much.

Their Father died months after this if this was 1991..Barry was heartbroken, he and Andy were best friends, Barry wrote and produced most of his music.

Also qhen you lose someine so dear to you you forever ask yourself, Sis the person REALLY know the deph of my love for them. Could I have done or saied anything more, spent more time, given an extra hu..g. When the death is unexspect and they are young..wel any age really is you never get over the death, that is a myth we are told, And who ever exspects to bury your child, the youngest one at that. So very heartbreaking. They really will all be together again one day..no more tears

The pain of losing Andy is obviously still very fresh. You could tell Barry was really struggling. I think it is so sweet the way Linda had Barbara's hand during that part. I feel for that woman having lost two sons. I can't imagine. Does anyone know if she is still doing ok?  Is she still in Vegas?

The hardest part of getting over the death of someone very dear to you is knowing that you never get over the loss and that part of you has died with them. You cope, you accept, you put on a brave face but the pain is never far from your heart. I feel deeply for Barry, Robin, Barbara and Leslie and all of their family members over their losses as ultimately, we will all feel or have felt such losses.

you see it on the dvd one night only, the song for andy, tey,re singing along with andy and then a part andy is singins alone and than Robin walks away and Barry is listening proud to his singing.And now they,ve lost Maurice too, how hard on the whole fam but the hardest for the mother,losing two of your children.

The song was "Wish You Were Here" a Beuteful song it is from the Bee Gees ONE albem and Barry sigs a part at the end and it ecos Andys name Wonderful Heather

I feel so honored to experience this honor the Bee Gees received. I'm glad their Mom and Dad were still around to share this night with them. I saw the pain and sadness when "Wish You Were Here" was played for Andy. Bee Gees, no one deserves this honor more that you. You are truly music icons who, through your music, have become immortal. The pain in Barry's face was so sad. I know he & Andy were so close. I know Maurice's death hurt him as well. I didn't realize his father was gone too. God Bless the Gibb family!
