  • I learned absolutely nothing except some new vocabulary words... . what a bunch of marketing drivel. Get an actual audio guy in here please.

  • does anybody know if the subs would fit under the seats of a four door truck ???

  • @mnm9194 They will not. Actually very large.

  • your an idiot that car is sexy

  • @xXxKILLADZxXx This is Truely a "Sexy" Ultimate Ricer ever made

  • @AntDX316 first off how is it a ricer

  • sexy car

  • Who the hell is going to install that tweeter pod in their car. It looks goofy as hell. If you can't flush mount a tweeter, it shouldn't be in the car, that really detracts from the car, and I question the benefit it provides.

  • the "tweeter pod" is actually a tweeter plus a mid range driver. There are significant advantages to running a 4 way system (that the DEX-P99RS provides). You should look that up if you don't already understand it.

  • What I understand is a sound system should be heard, and not seen. That pod is an EYESORE in that beautiful car.

  • Cosmetics are often a sacrifice that is made in SQ cars. Its very important, and hard, to image a midrange properly without it ending up being aesthetically obtrusive. For example, you could embed the tweet and midrange inside the a-pillar or dash panel, but having the drivers mounted in those protruding spheres ensures very little, if any, reflection and cancellation issues. Look at the B&W 800 series; this is why they did the same concept with the midrange and tweet.

  • audiophool

One who spends mass amounts of cash on ridiculous Audio components and accessories. They truly believe they can tell a difference, and come up with elaborate excuses to justify these purchases.

" 'I just bought a set of $5,000 isolated marble cable-elevators to keep my $12,000 oxygen-free silver audio cables from touching the floor and picking up vibrations.'

What do you mean I'm an audiophool?"

What do they listen to on those things, anyway? Steely Dan?

  • It sure is flashy video. The host uses a lot of shinny words but he didn't have anything in context to say about what the products do... LAME!

  • @daedalusxf

What did you expect? It's a marketing video. Most consumers aren't the brightest anyways so if he gets too complex it isn't like they'll understand it.

People who really know about those things will look at the specs before they buy (like I do).

  • this brings good... and bad news. good news is that there is going to be a new line of even higher quality products from pioneer. bad news is that i was saving up for the other top of the line prs spreakers but now i have to wait until these are released. got to get my hands on em, quikly!!!!
