  • Old British Guys kick ass!! So many great movies among these three gents!!

  • hey!!! My name is bond too!!!

  • I want to go to Gstad and have a beer with these lads.

  • Somewhat i like Roger Moore slightly more than Sean Connery, dont know why...

  • Roger Moore will always be Simon Templar in "The Saint" to me.

  • so much awesomeness in the stage

  • best 007= Dalton

  • @RonaldReaganGreatest Agreed. He portrayed Bond the way Craig is being praised for now.

  • Three sirs. The best three in the business. God speed to three greats of british cinema.

  • well u can call anything for them - 3 idots, 3 stooges, 3 muskateers. different people different opinion. but in my views they r 1 kohinoor which is not cut in 3 parts and is on the crown of british of british monarch. and they 3 r same like kohinnor 2 unmatchable gems resplending the crown of world cinema

  • Chris Alpha is the next Bondy!

  • made a change to the title

  • @JuanMacready Wonder if you can provide evidence to your 'racist' claims.

  • Three great Legends....and all Brits! I love when Moore says " Im not on this list.." and Caine says "well whats ya name?" Imagine going for a beer with these three back in the day! : )

  • Clive Owen for next Bond!

  • @doncini3000

    Clive Anderson for next Bond!

  • @alin1975 Oh my god yes!

  • LOL. Two of my favourite actors: Connery and Caine. Awesome.

  • Connery, moore, brosnan, dalton were all great bonds, all played the parts to suit their character, with connery a hardened bond to suit the cold war. moore a bond for the seventies, the most underated bond was lazenby, an unknown at the time. remember the fight scenes?? connery is the better actor, but moore is underated.

Have met moore ' times in my life quite by chance at different aeroports quite the gent, who does a lot of good for UNICEF good one Sir Roger

  • We need your help!

Interested in Scottish culture and the future of our country?

    Yes!

    Then please visit NEWNET SCOTLAND

  • Can someone please organize an excuse for all the Bond actors to be on the same stage together?

  • Jim Malone meets Rufus Excalibur Ffolkes. (here they looked exactly like their best character after Bond)

  • I remember watching this live. Quite a moment indeed, given the endless Connery-vs-Moore Bond comparisons being made back then though they were longtime close friends.

  • sean connery is bond the best one roger moore was after therefore he had time to refine the role make it better in some people eyes but sir sean connery is the absolute best IMO i like all the bonds especially craig and brosnan maybe because they versions came out while i was living but i love sir sean connery playing bond not cause he the first but because he embodied bond in my eyes i know my comment long but so is the franchise

  • Enough Debates Already: Ian Flemming thinks Roger is the best Bond. End of Discussion.

  • @lafkdjay Fleming was DEAD for more than 10 years when Moore took the role of Bond, the half-true of ur post is that Fleming liked Moore's role in The Saint and he wanted to cast him as James Bond, but Moore looked too young in 1962 to fit the role well (funny thing 'cos in fact Moore is 3 years OLDER than Connery).

  • you look like sean connery with a moustache LOL

  • Daniel Crag is horrid as bond, and fuckin wanker.

  • Connery, Craig and Dalton are the only watchable Bonds. Pierce Brosnan was absolute garbage - a bland, shopfront mannequin. Bond has to have an edge. Thank God the Brosnan era of dumb action movies is over and we now have a real actor in Daniel Craig.

  • Let's not forget Michael Caine up there as well. Another brilliant actor, and also entitled "Sir."

  • AMAZING! 3 screen legends in one stage.

  • PARADOX

  • Thats gold. BOND ?????????? He's Bond. LOL

  • three of the best british actors ever!!!!!

  • He doesn't look older!!! He was the seciest 007-

  • I dont understand Sean Connery is 3 years younger than Roger Moore but looks older than him.

  • i know but then again Roger moore always had that youngish look about how i mean he was in his mid 40s when he first took the role of Bond and was nearly 60 by the time he finished but sean connery has always looked old ever since diemonds are forever he started too age very fast

  • @charlieiscool1000 You're right, Connery looked like a frazzled middle-aged used-car salesman in Diamonds are Forever but that was just an in-between phase en route to the "handsome older gentleman" phase.

I didn't understand why they chose Moore to succeed Connery as James Bond because he was (and still is) 3 years older than Connery; but yes, he had a boyish look to him that ages well.

  • Connery always seems so uncomfortable in situations like this. Roger Moore and Michael Caine clearly have no problem in front of a live audience.

  • Three class actors. Sadly we don'y have any new guys to take over from them. But I'm available when they realise James Bond needs a personality.....

  • The guy on the right looks like Austin Power's dad in Goldmember!!!

  • @MrToontown360 it is

  • @zamzam17

    coolio

  • @MrToontown360 That is Michael Caine. He did play Austin Powers dad in Goldmember. Lol

  • this is stupid but i love james bond

  • That was quite droll. Had NEVER seen that clip before. THANKS for sharing it with us! LOTS of talent on that Oscar stage that night...with those three gifted British actors...though Mr Connery might want to be called Scottish, not British. In any event. a JOY to watch. THANKS again! :)

  • Roger Moore is the best, was the best and always will be the best James Bond!!

  • Roger Moore looks very young for a 61 year old guy!

  • Sean Connery & Roger Moore is the ultimate James Bond ever i mean till doomsday.

  • Class act by three wonderful gentlemen long live BOND and Mr Caine you sir are a class act Bravo........

  • Three fabulous UK actors . . . !

  • Roger Moore may not be the best Bond, but he's certainly the best human being.

    And funny as hell!

  • SHAKIRA?! Woah, you stud!

  • Sir Roger Moore is a hero!

  • Makes me sooo excited like a child when I see these three :D

  • I thought Sean Connery was a great 007, very sophisticated looking and all that. But it was like some guy with dark hair, dark eyebrows and a Steve McQueen/Jack Webb demeanor was playing the role. I liked Roger Moore as 007 because he was more down to earth and had a great sense of humor in the role. It shows in this skit.

  • @WilliamRowlett yea roger moore has a more friendly feeling in the james bond he plays.......but both no matter wht sean connery and roger moore both of them were really good!!!!!

  • sorry i find it funny as that isn't roger moore with sean connery its actually michael caine lols

  • oh the days when the oscar skits were slightly intelligent.

  • 1 - Sean Connery (Absolutely the best)

2 - Roger Moore (Funny, classy, charming and with great movies)

3 - Timothy Dalton (The human and dark side of Bond)

4 - George Lazenby (He could do more movies but he was fine in OHMSS)

5 - Daniel Craig (I don't hate Craig, he's a great actor, and did a good job on his movies but he is not the Bond that we are familiar to)

  • What about Pierce Brosnan?

  • @avien84 - agreed.....Pierce was a superb 007!

  • Sean Connery, Roger Moore, and Michael Caine... what a trio.

  • The one and only Bond,Sir Sean Connery! The others, some good some bad,all imitations.

  • lol oh that was priceless : )

  • Roger Moore will always be my favourite actor in the role of 007 but I also enjoyed Pierce, Sean, Timothy and George. I cannot say the same for that 'bland thug' they have now.

  • @TRUMPER007 My dad grew up with the books and likes old sean....but i agree with you i love the camp roger mores bond it's great those were the days the xmas release the camp adventure. The new darker direction they have taken now...the born type of dark is not as good. Roger moore is a true gent

  • @TRUMPER007 Excuse me, did you just say that George Lazenby wasn't bland? You sir, are talking crap. He was stiff as a plank.

  • @TRUMPER007 roger is the best!

  • @TRUMPER007 agree with all except I didnt enjoy Dalton or Lazenby at all. For me Moore was also the best, then Connery, then Brosnan, all the others are unwatchable in the role. Craig may be the worst of all

  • @Casarzino - I would'nt call 'The Living Daylights', 'Licence To Kill' and 'OHMSS' unwatchable - just different. Daniel Craig I agree is the worst and totally mis-cast as Bond. 'Casino Royale' was just bearable to watch but 'Quantum of Solace' was just pure tripe. The James Bond films died when Pierce finished with the role.

  • @TRUMPER007 well it didn't need to be that way. I remember Jude Law was also a candidate for the role and he would've been much better. He's British, tall dark and handsome, and has a reputation for being a ladies man. Those are the ingredients you need to play JB. I'm not a huge fan of his either but he would have been much more appropriate than DC.

  • @TRUMPER007 "Bland" excuse me "BLAND" What horse shit? He may delivery a more gritty touch to Bond but don't call him bland just because he doesn't fire off those dated one liners. They were great back in the 60s and 70s these days they wouldn't work.

  • @TRUMPER007 Totally agree with you that guy brings Bond down to Dirt I hope in future there'll be better actors ro take over and still try to like match Pierce I mean if they make others which Im sure they will it would be sad to know that this guy is gonna be the official Bond everybody wants to Portray cause it sucks these days the movies are great but the guys just well yeah

  • @TRUMPER007 couldn't agree with you more...specially the part part about that thug craig playing bond. There was a good reason he was protested when the role was anounced for him. They would have been better off casting hugh jackman as the next bond....

  • @davedropd1 Moore was protested has bond as well.Who

ever has gotten the role after connery has happen to them.

What confused me was the two that were the worst was

not protested and they could'nt hang around as long.

  • @TRUMPER007

LOL (trumper007) daniel craig is how 'Bond is suppose to be.. (COLD)

He reminds me of `Mcgoohan in dangerman & robert shaw (from.russia),

Roger made bond too light as he couldn't take it seriously,

roger was more like Bond when he was `simon templar!

  • @TRUMPER007

    agreed +1

  • @TRUMPER007 HE IS HORRIBLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE ,,I WOULD KILL HIM SLOWLY IF I HAD THE CHANCE,,,HE IS A POOR EXCUSE FOR A HUMAN BEING

  • roger moore is the best james bond in my view and doesnt get enough praise!

  • @Dungar1989 Yeah I think he is the best. Agree with you totally there

  • @Dungar1989 I agree with you. the problem with him is, that he was to old, made his first bond with 46 and the last with 58

  • sean connery and roger moore are the best!

  • Sean Connery

  • I deeply treasure all of the Moore and Connery films and have the latest FVDs packed with extras. The Moore movies sometimes have an extra DVD loaded with "the making of" type footage, awesome! I give an honorable mention to Pierce, although I never bought any of his, watching them on TV is good enough. Don't care one wit about the other fellows except for the excellent Lazenby.

  • "I'm not on this list"....

    lol!!

  • I hate Craig cause Roger is the best Bond ever for me, full of classy. It's impossible to love Roger and Craig when you're a 007 fan.

  • Daniel Craig is the Worst, I hate him

  • thanks for the video

  • DR NO!

  • Dont be silly my dear boy. Sarcasm...

  • George Lazenby was definitely the best Bond!

  • how can gerorge lazenby be the best bond, hes only done 1

  • sarcasm u idiot

  • u have no fucking idea :D ... anyone but NOT lezenby.... but i hope this was pure sarcasm

  • I grew up first watching the Bond movies when they would be shown every couple of weeks on the ABC Sunday Night Movie. Sometimes they'd air a Connery and the next might be a Moore. So to me they're both James Bond.

  • My mind just blew up.

  • roger moore, funny guy and undoubtedly without question the best bond ever.

  • I soo agree! He's a true gentleman

  • Em no chance. Sean Connery is Bond. End of story.

  • Connery was the best according to me.

  • "i was working" ... yup.... on Jaws 4 The Revenge .....

WHAT were you thinking on that one!!!

AND you missed your Oscar speach???????

  • yeah man

  • Shut up numb nuts, no one needs an argument to be started.

  • WORD!

  • goldeneye wasn't too bad

  • This is so good. Could you please put up the rest of the show? :D

  • And like I said, Craig is THE MAN...!

  • My two favorite Bond - in the worl!

    Hi hi hi great meeting.

    First Roger Moore.

  • awesome moment. d 2 greatest bond.

  • 0:45...

That sure looks like Roger to me! :D

  • whoa..i know who roger moore is,dude. he's d 3rd man in the video.

p.s. do not post mindless comments.

  • Comment removed

  • Moore over Bronson other wise good list

  • Lol, sure, I agree on sean connery, pierce brosnan.. but Daniel Craig is for SURE doing a MUCH better job than timothy and george, its even between him and roger I think.

Putting Craig at the bottom is just stupid.

  • The two greates James Bond stars ever!

On one scene, and they met! Incredible!

  • Sean Connery >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Roger Moore

  • the person who apeared here is not Roger Moore is Michael Caine the winer of the socar to best actor in 1988, but the other is Sean Conery the winer of the oscar to best secundary actor in 1988.

  • Roger Moore?

  • Roger gets my vote. Spy who loved me.

  • Another vote for Roger. Late 70's ABC Monday Night Movie - The Spy Who Loved Me...nuff said.

  • I think most of us can agree that Brosnan was crap in comparison with those who went before (and I'm including George Lazenby)

  • This is in the Year 1988??? It is right?

Because 5 Years before, Sean Connery make his lastz James Bond Film Never Say Never Again

  • I'll probably get flamed for this, but I grew up with Roger Moore as James Bond. Though I don't think I could choose "the best Bond ever" (they are all great in their own way), I'd have to go with Moore if I had to choose just one. (Although Connery certainly personifies what we expect in James Bond.) Fin.

  • No, I think it's great statement, we all have our own take on Bons as many have grown ip with "their" Bond over the years :)

  • roger moore ist besser als jean connery

  • Connery was the best bond but i'll always hold moore close to my heart as I grew up with his movies. His performance in Octopussy was criminally ignored by the academy in 1983

  • I love how Roger Moore says 'oh' when Micheal Caine points to Sean Connery at 0:57. It's so cute the way he says it!

  • The two best Bonds together!

  • I love you Sean Connery!

  • Reason why Michael Caine didn't do the Oscar speech before? "I was working". He was wise not to say he was working on "Jaws: The Revenge"!

  • moore did LALD when he was 45!

    he looked amazing for 45

  • At least Roger Moore never used a toupe or wig when playing Bond. Sean Connery did.

    Great actors both of them.

  • o thats true? he wear wig toupe during bond days.. why thats wig is not obvious.. and you see the hair are near to his scalp like ordinary hair.. i only notice sean connery wear wig during entrapment not jamews bond day

  • Connery wasn't saying anything because I seriously think he was about to kill Moore. He was thinking, "Bond?? You.......Bond? Aw shit mofugga, I'ma 'bout ta get all kinds 'o 007 up in yo' ass!"

Well it probably didn't sound like that, but he was thinking it!!!

  • tell it michael caine, sean connery is bond.

  • Roger Moore was the best Bond. No doubt.

  • Yes, he did after all do the most movies,7.

Thanks to him and his interpretation of Bond the genre survived and made tons of new fans along the way.

Even Connery suggested Moore as a replacement after Thunderball.

Moore doesn't deserve all the bashing he gets today. He was Bond for 13 years.

  • He does get treated unfairly. His movies are still a fun ride. They are the best ones to watch if you just want a fun escape. Moore does it with style.

  • Haha, that's true, but you have to realize that at the time (70's and 80's), AGE wasn't always an issue.

And Roger looked very good for a man of his age. But I agree that he started looking old in his last 2 movies (Octopussy and AVTAK.)

  • He was a sugar daddy bond, i still think he is a massive stud. Im a big dalton fan, but im sure not many share the same view. I find it easy to take Moore both comically and seriously in all his Bond films. Craig is just a pouting knob.

  • Hahaha...."pouting knob"? Why...?

  • I dunno, he just doesnt do it for me, the new bond films are too seriousm Craig certainly isnt as good (when i say good i mean suave and gimmicky) as Brosnan and all the rest of them.

  • sean connery the best bond

  • Roger Moore is the best bond!

  • agreed!

  • Comment removed

  • Where is George Lazenby?

  • well, i dunno about who the best bond is, but craig could kick all their asses on any given day lol

  • Why? Because he's the latest?

    Idiot!

  • "idiot"?

ok lets c. daniel craig and pierce brosnan meet in a dark alley, they get in2 a fight...who do u think will win? take NE other bond in his prime and put him in a ring against craig...well, thats GG to Craig. FFS i never said craigs the best bond, but he by far, is the toughest.

and because u called me an idiot, now i feel compelled to call u a DICKHEAD...dickhead

  • All right, I'm a little confused. Exactly WHEN did Connery start wearing a wig? 1962 or early 70's?

  • He had a toupe in every Bond movie since 1962.

  • michael caine is the shit!

  • Connery and Moore are the best Bonds. Craig's films are gritty etc but don't feel like Bond films.

  • Actually Craig is probably how Fleming would have written him if he had lived today.

Fact is the Bond in Fleming's novels is nothing like Connery and Fleming originally wasn't pleased with having some no name scotsman more suited for stunts playing his spy.

  • this must be one of the greatest posts on youtube. Imagine a night on the toon with these three guys (40 years ago)

  • This was great, all three very classy and funny men... sadly the Oscars and Emmys cant produce a decent fucking skit anymore unless improvising geniuses are in town.

And while this seems historic, Moore and Connery were pals long before this night.

  • Connery looks like he just doesn't want to be there.

  • is sean connery use wig or transplant? bcos during that time he not have hair.. but now he has a hair i wonder.. sean connery is good look now

  • sean connery has been bald since he was in his 30s and wore wigs when he played bond. he is half bald now.

  • Sean Connery was NOT bald while playing Bond and it wasn't until his late 30's that he began losing his hair. He was perhaps the only Bond that was actually fit enough physically to do most of his own difficult stunts. Moore clearly was a pansy and hated the stunt work with a passion. Even says so!

  • i did say his 30s and didnt mean in all of bond films alright. he was balding in the 1960`s and was wearing toupees in his films in the late 60s
