I'm not sure what you mean by events like this. There are amazing youth bowlers all across the country a lot of them bowl tournaments like this, but as you stated, there are several that are out there that are truly "diamonds in the rough" that keep a low profile. Those are the kids that the college recruiters love to find. 220 sport average is awesome! How old is he? College bound?

The real "diamonds in the rough" are not showcased in events like this. My son averages 220 on most of the PBA sport patterns, but I'm not gonna showcase him like this because people like this fall into the "cliche" category......
