  • I bet this lap is driven WITHOUT speed sensitive steering.

  • is it really formulla one ? or just an f3000 skin ?

  • I GOT THIS GAME, BUT I CANT FIND ANY GERRARI CARS, WHY? DO I NEED ANY MOD?

  • @hvfunlol yep.. u can find a lot of mods for it !! :-)

  • @XXXMicky91XXX WHERE ??? i've Race 07 / Gtr evo too

  • How many AI competitors can you put in about each track? In most videos I see 24, is that the max?

  • @Tranzorr Yep, 24 is the maximum.. ;)

  • @XXXMicky91XXX Wow 24 only even in big circuits like here Nurburgring? Damn. By the way nice freaking engine sounds of that F1 car. Best engine sounds of F1 car I've seen so far in any racing game.

  • aka rocky9mm here , This was one of the smoothest laps I've seen out here , great job XXXMicky91XXX man !!!

  • Do run in a league on this sim?

  • How did you manage to keep the car from spinning on the Karussell? That's like the absolute worst nightmare for an F1 car and you snap through it like it was nothing.

  • @tankermottind Precisely. Must be driving aides or just really unrealistic physics with too much grip.

  • @tjbayliss Driving aids or extra grip have nothing to do with the Karussell issue I described, which is an aerodynamic/suspension issue. The transition between the smooth pavement and the Karussell banking causes a disruption in the airflow underneath the car, resulting in a sudden and catastrophic loss of downforce and likely spinout. This is coupled with the suspension of an F1 car being extremely sensitive to sudden bumps or ridges. No amount of driving aids or "unrealistic" grip can save you

  • @tankermottind The aids is surely setted off (u can see that the spy is off, near the speedometer)..

..In the case of Karoussel, the one of the game is much difference than the real one..

For the other corners maybe the physics of this mod is not so realistic..

    But is enough for me...

    (sorry for my english)

  • watch?v=8qQXWDZ8Tcw

    My lap... 5:14 flat

I've done 5:13's a short while after this. 5:12's are easily possible.

  • BEST SONGS EVER!!!!!!

  • Brutal lap! Amazing!

  • How fake are those physics.... It's like the car is glued to the track.

310kph in those turns? No way.

It looks like the car has 150% too much power.

  • @tjbayliss

Just google for some downforce of F1, acceleration, and watch Schumacher videos at YouTube, you'll see that this is more than realistic.

  • @tjbayliss Actually, real life race drivers are often quoted in saying that the simulations like I-Racing/Rfactor/etc, often feel like they have LESS grip than the real life cars, though this could be because they can't feel the G-Force in sim's, so don't know when they are reaching the limit as in a real car. F1 cars, technically, have enough downforce at 150+mph to drive upside down, and stick to the road, as they are generating more than 2 times there own weight at those speeds.

  • @theangrygimp Yes, in basically any F1 mod for any game, there is much less grip than real life.

In real life, the diffuser gives them 50% of their downforce.

It's because mod groups don't really know what they are doing when it comes to physics, so they make the car rely so much on tyre grip / tyre wear, completely ignoring the double diffuser's aerodynamics...

FSONE 2009 is the closest to real life that I have seen, but still nowhere near enough grip, and engines too powerful by a long way.

  • @tjbayliss I wouldn't call all the modding teams as just not knowing what they are doing, some mod teams are made up of professionals who do mods on the side, and have access to real drivers and vehicle read outs. TeamPlayers are one of those groups who have physics as good as anyones. CartFactor is considered one of the most realistic around. Not all mod teams are just beginner projects, some are professional's side projects with feedback from real drivers, made with real world data.

  • @theangrygimp Personally, I think those BMW Sauber 08 physics that ISI made are probably the best available for F1.

Stable - Diffuser Works - No stupidly overpowered engine - Not really noob friendly like WCP / F1MG

    /

FSONE 2009 Physics are good, but still there's something wrong with them.

Just not enough grip, and engines are way too powerful.

  • @tjbayliss Have you tried "CartFactor" ? Also, as for grip, you did do enough distance to warm you tires up properly before judging right? I have also heard from others that they ISI's BMW physics were some of the best around, and I think they are awesome, but I have never driven an open wheeler. I only raced in the army, and it was with a Nissan 240SX with friends at track days. I often think the closest physics to what I remember (disabled now..), are the ones from the RFactor Supra mod.

  • @tjbayliss

Welcome to Formula One. F1 cars put out around 800 horsepower, weigh around one third the weight of a GT car, and are sucked against the road by around 3000 pounds of downforce at speed. Their capabilities are so far beyond closed-top cars that they're almost beyond comprehension.

  • @tankermottind I stand by what I said

This video is extremely unrealistic, the driving and realism of the physics are non-existent.

He's going around corners far too quickly and drifting without spinning.

There is not a chance in hell you can go around a corner like that in real life without spinning instantly.

Either the driver is using driving aides, or the physics are just shit.

If the video creator claims this video is not sped up, then the grip level is extremely unrealistic.

  • @tjbayliss FORMULA 1. Have you ever watched Formula 1? The cars pull THREE Gs through turns! Go watch some Formula 1 and come back.

  • @tankermottind From the timer in the video I can tell it hasn't been sped up, so the physics are just very unrealistic.

  • love at how fast your rev dial goes up and down!

  • @XXXMicky91XXX : nice driving !!!

  • ohhhh camon turn off the song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Juanplate00 Is its volume so high ?!

  • POWER!!!!!!!!!

  • i recently downloaded a mod for gtr evo and it has sounds but when i download this mod no sounds can you help me check where you put your sounds in?

  • @lucky9star123 You wrote me some days ago... I told you i don't know I can help You ....

    to others players:

    Someone can help him?!?!

  • but i downloaded fia gtr 2008 for gtr evo and the car have sounds

  • i downloaded this mod and when i install it there is no car engine sounds help me

  • @lucky9star123 It seems that work only in Single Player ( not with Steam ) ...

Do you have the Steam version ?!

  • @XXXMicky91XXX no mine not steam version but then my game is race on wtcc 08 and muscle club the mod works in that game but no sounds i really need your help thank you

  • @lucky9star123 The problem might be just right this... The mod is created for GTR Evo, and not for Race On .... It should be that...

    I cannot help u, I'm sorry ! :(

  • how rise top sped...i try to rise 7-gear but that not helping... my top is 315kmh and best time 3:10 :)

  • nice lap !!!

  • Nice driving i like it...

  • wow nice round....

  • top speed 323km/h

  • @frasier900 here (1:23) is 325 !! ;D
